Jimmy Butler

Golden State Warriors
11/29/21, 7:12 PM ET

Jimmy Butler (tailbone) ruled out Monday

Butler has been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Denver Nuggets due to a tailbone contusion, while Tyler Herro will miss a second straight game with what’s been categorized as overall body soreness. With Herro sidelined for Saturday’s win, Gabe Vincent and Max Strus took on expanded roles in the second unit as each ended up closing the game with the starters minus Duncan Robinson and P.J. Tucker and logged over 30 minutes of action off the bench. Obviously, it would have been difficult to project either for that type of workload in tonight’s contest if Butler was cleared to play, but now that he’s available, it’s possible one or both could be needed to take down large-field tournament formats across the daily fantasy industry this evening.

Cody Martin

Indiana Pacers
11/29/21, 4:45 PM ET

Cody Martin (illness) questionable Monday

Martin is a new addition to the Hornets’ injury report and is currently listed as questionable for Monday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls due to an illness. Prior to the Hornets previous game, Martin had typically been seeing upwards of 26-29 minutes a night off head coach James Borrego’s bench, so clearly if he’s unable to suit up, there will be a plethora of playing time opportunity up for grabs for the remaining members of the Charlotte rotation. The most logical candidate for the additional minutes would be Kelly Oubre, who’s logged at least 34 minutes in two of the last three contests, but there’s also a high probability that the starters would all have an increased minute floor as well as Jalen McDaniels and even Nick Richards if Borrego opts to play bigger down a key wing player.

Myles Turner

Milwaukee Bucks
11/29/21, 4:52 PM ET

Myles Turner (illness) listed questionable Monday

Turner has been included on the Pacers’ initial injury report for Monday’s matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to an illness. He’s the only player listed with a designation for tonight’s second leg of a back-to-back set other than T.J. Warren, who’s been sidelined the entire season with a left navicular fracture. If Turner is unable to suit up, Kelan Martin is the most logical player to join the starting lineup alongside Domantas Sabonis in the frontcourt, which will allow Sabonis to spend much of his playing time at the center position and open additional minutes for Chris Duarte and Torrey Craig on the wing with the second unit this evening.

Tyler Herro

Milwaukee Bucks
11/27/21, 8:54 PM ET

Tyler Herro (soreness) active Saturday; status uncertain

Tyler Herro (soreness) is officially active Saturday against the Chicago Bulls but it remains to be seen if he will actually play. It seems best to avoid Herro in most formats as his status is extremely questionable. If Herro does indeed not play, Kyle Lowry and Duncan Robinson would likely play longer rotations and Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, and Caleb Martin would be in line for more minutes off the bench. This would increase the expected production for all players mentioned and subsequently increase their value. At this point playing these cheaper Heat options just doesn’t seem like a risk worth taking in cash games but could be considered in some large field GPPs as a high risk/reward play.

Mo Bamba

Utah Jazz
11/27/21, 8:44 PM ET

Mo Bamba (back) now ruled out Saturday, Robin Lopez will start in his place

Mo Bamba (back) has now been ruled out Saturday after originally being cleared to play. It seems as though when going through warmups Bamba started to suffer from back spasms leading to him being ruled out for tonight’s game. Robin Lopez will start in his place and should play the bulk of the center minutes with Moe Wagner and Chuma Okeke available to back him up. Lopez instantly becomes one of the better value plays on the slate as he is the minimum price on DK and slated to see starter minutes now.

Royce O'Neale

Charlotte Hornets
11/27/21, 8:39 PM ET

Royce O'Neale (foot, ankle) ruled out Saturday

Royce O’Neale (foot, ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans. With O’Neale ruled out Rudy Gay, Joe Ingles, and Eric Paschall will likely split his minutes. Gay and Ingles will become much better plays based on expected production due to increased minutes while Eric Paschall would likely soak up whatever is left. It is also worth noting that Mike Conley was left off the injury report and will be available to play tonight despite being a rest candidate. Conley should be in line to see his normal minutes and can be considered at his price point.

JaVale McGee

Sacramento Kings

JaVale McGee (ankle) not listed on injury report Saturday

JaVale McGee (ankle) is no longer listed on the injury report for Saturday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets. McGee should see his normal minutes backing up Deandre Ayton.
