The Timberwolves appear to have dodged a bullet as both Edwards and Vanderbilt have been cleared to play and will be available for Wednesday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards despite battling and illness, while Nowell has also been upgraded from questionable and will be active for tonight’s contest. There was clearly potential for Minnesota to be extremely shorthanded if all the three of the previously mentioned players were unable to suit up, but as it currently stands with no reported minute restrictions, Josh Okogie will likely remain in the rotation for another game as a fill-in for Jalen McDaniels, who will miss a second straight game because of flu-like symptoms.

Marvin Bagley (illness) and Harrison Barnes (foot) listed out Wednesday; Maurice Harkless (knee) listed questionable
The Kings have released their initial injury report and both Bagley and Barnes have officially been ruled out Wednesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers due to their respective ailments, while Harkless is listed as questionable with left knee soreness that’s already forced him to miss two games. Regardless of Harkless’ final status, Chimezie Metu appears poised to start at power forward once again, and he’s been phenomenal for daily fantasy purposes over the Kings’ previous two games and even logged 36 minutes of action sans Harkless, Bagley, and Barnes in the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday evening.

Giddey is a new addition to the Thunder’s injury report and is listed out for Tuesday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets due to an illness, while Bazley has been downgraded to questionable with left elbow soreness and Muscala will miss a second consecutive game with right ankle soreness. The absence of Giddey should be a significant boost to the projected fantasy values of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the remaining members of the Thunder’s first unit, while some combination of Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins, and Paul Watson likely to absorb the vacated minutes on the wing. As for the frontcourt, Oklahoma City will be extremely thin there again as well and should enable Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Isaiah Roby to handle much of the minutes at the five-spot this evening.

McDaniels has been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards due to flu-like symptoms that have now forced him to miss multiples games, while Nowell is a new addition to the Timberwolves injury report and will join Anthony Edwards and Jarred Vanderbilt with a questionable designation for the same ailment. There’s clearly potential for Minnesota to be extremely shorthanded in tonight’s contest if all the aforementioned players are unable to suit up, but as it currently stands, Josh Okogie would likely remain in the rotation for another game as a fill-in for McDaniels, though the extent of his role will be determined by the availability of Vanderbilt, Edwards, and Nowell this evening.

Other than the continued absences of Rui Hachimura and Thomas Bryant, the Wizards roster is at full strength, so Holiday’s absence is unlikely to make much of an impact on daily fantasy contests around the industry since Raul Neto and Corey Kispert should just absorb the minuscule amount of vacated minutes Holiday leaves behind in the second. unit

Hart is a new addition to the Pelicans’ injury report and is currently listed as questionable for Wednesday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks due to left knee soreness. Other than the continued absence of Zion Williamson, the Pelicans have a healthy roster at the moment, so the potential absence of Hart is unlikely to make much of an impact on daily fantasy contest since Tomas Satoransky and Garrett Temple would just take on slightly larger minute workloads, regardless of starter, and rookie Trey Murphy could rejoin the rotation following his stretch of inconsistent playing time of late.

Wiggins went through pregame warmups and told reporters courtside that he will play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns despite previously being downgraded to questionable on the Warriors’ injury report due to back spasms. Even with Wiggins cleared to play, Golden State is still without Damion Lee and Andre Iguodala, so this could lead to one or all of Otto Porter Jr., Juan Toscano-Anderson, or Gary Payton II playing their way into additional minutes off the bench in tonight’s contest.

James was listed as questionable on the Lakers’ injury report, per usual, heading into Tuesday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings, but he’s now entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols and is expected to miss multiple games. With Avery Bradley also sidelined with his respective ailment, the Lakers now find themselves down two starters, which will allow Talen Horton-Tucker and Wayne Ellington to start at the wing positions in tonight’s contest. Ellington’s minute floor is typically pretty low, even as a starter, but the promotion to the first unit and likely playing time increase is enough to make Horton-Tucker one of the better value options for all formats across the daily fantasy industry this evening.

Despite the late additions to the Knicks’ injury report, Barrett, Robinson, Rose, Noel, and Gibson will all be available to play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets after the latter four each missed the previous game due to their respective ailments. This will be the first time in quite a while that Robinson, Noel, and Gibson are all active at the same time, so it’ll be interesting to see if head coach Tom Thibodeau opts to utilize a three-man committee at the center position or if one of the aforementioned big men finds themselves staring down a DNP-CD in tonight’s contest and potentially moving forward.

Trent has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a right calf contusion that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Toronto is also still without OG Anunoby and Khem birch because of their respective ailments, so they’ll be without two starters, once again allowing Precious Achiuwa and Svi Mykhailiuk to join the starting lineup. Mykhailiuk got all the run he could handle in his first spot start for Trent, so he appears to have a stable minute floor for as long as head coach Nick Nurse opts to keep Chris Boucher, Dalano Banton, and others at the end of bench and off the court.

Wiggins has been added to the Warriors’ injury report and is currently listed as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to back spasms. Golden State is already without Damion Lee and Andre Iguodala, so if Wiggins is unable to suit up, they’ll suddenly be fairly thin at the wing positions. This could lead to either Otto Porter, Juan Toscano-Anderson, or Gary Payton II to join the starting lineup alongside Jordan Poole on the wing. However, regardless of starting unit, all of the aforementioned players would be in line for increased playing time if Wiggins is unavailable this evening.

Morris was never listed on the Clippers’ injury report, but he’s now been ruled out of Monday’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans for rest purposes on the second leg of a back-to-back set. Meanwhile, Nicolas Batum remains in the health and safety protocols, so Amir Coffey will receive the starting nod alongside Paul George at one of the forward positions in tonight’s contest. In his past spot starts, Coffey has typically been limited to minutes somewhere in the low-to-mid-20s, so he may be a difficult player to target in daily fantasy formats, but the absence of Morris does secure the minute floors of Ivica Zubac, Terrance Mann, and Luke Kennard this evening.

O’Neale has been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans due to an ankle and foot injury that’s now forced him to miss two games. With O’Neale unavailable, Rudy Gay and Jordan Clarkson should continue to see and increased minute workload off the bench, while Joe Ingles should remain in the starting lineup for a second straight contest. Given their increases in projection and price tags across the daily fantasy industry, Ingles and Gay now become intriguing tournament targets, especially with the late-breaking nature of the news in proximity to lock.

Martin has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls due to an illness. Prior to the Hornets previous game, Martin had typically been seeing upwards of 26-29 minutes a night off head coach James Borrego’s bench, so clearly there will now be a plethora of playing time opportunity up for grabs for the remaining members of the Charlotte rotation. The most logical candidate for the additional minutes would be Kelly Oubre, who’s logged at least 34 minutes in two of the last three contests, but there’s also a high probability that the starters will all have an increased minute floor as well as Jalen McDaniels and even Nick Richards if Borrego opts to play bigger down a key wing player.
