Robert Williams (toe) available to play Saturday
As expected, Williams was upgraded to available and will play against the Brooklyn Nets. He should get the start, but it remains to be seen how many minutes he plays, and will be a risky play due to the injury that’s bothered him for a while.
As reported by: the Boston Celtics via TwitterRobert Williams (toe) "intends to play" Saturday; will be a game-time decision
Williams will intend to play through his turf toe against the Brooklyn Nets, as coach Brad Stevens mentioned pre-game. The injury has bothered him for quite some time, and he’ll go through warmups to see if he can play through the injury. If he can’t, it’ll be Tristan Thompson getting the bulk of the minutes.
As reported by: Jay King via TwitterLandry Shamet (ankle) available to play Saturday
Shamet was upgraded from probable with an ankle injury to available to play against the Boston Celtics. With the Nets big three healthy, Shamet will likely come off the bench and play minutes in the teens, and won’t produce great in his limited minutes.
As reported by: Alex Schiffer via TwitterLineup update: Mavs will start Doncic, Hardaway Jr., Finney-Smith, Kleber, and Porzingis Saturday
The Mavs are electing to go with their usual starting lineup; they had been playing Porzingis at power forward lately, but he’ll slide over to center as Kleber jumps back into the starting lineup . Powell will move to the bench and is much tougher to prioritize, while Kleber has a much more secure minutes range.
As reported by: Chuck Cooperstein via Twitter Other tagged players: Dwight PowellMaxi Kleber (heel) available to play Saturday
Kleber was upgraded from probable to available and will play against the LA Clippers. He’ll likely come off the bench and play spot minutes, and is tough to prioritize in DFS. If he somehow starts, he’d be a significantly better play.
As reported by: the Dallas Mavericks via TwitterJeff Teague (knee) available to play Saturday
Teague was upgraded from probable with a knee injury to available against the Miami Heat. Teague usually plays spot minutes off the bench when the team is healthy, and is highly difficult to prioritize in DFS today.
As reported by: Eric Nehm via TwitterDamion Lee (protocols) will be active but highly unlikely to play Friday
Coach Steve Kerr said pregame that Lee would be active against the Grizzlies, but that he won’t play as he gets his conditioning in shape. The direct quote was that Kerr “most likely won’t play” but multiple beats have mentioned that Lee needs a few days, so he should be expected to be out. It should be the same eight man rotation for the Warriors; the usual starters, with Mulder, Poole, and Toscano-Anderson off the bench.
As reported by: Mark Medina via TwitterDamion Lee (protocols) upgraded to questionable Friday
Lee was upgraded from doubtful to questionable to clear the health and safety protocols as the Warriors prepare to play the Memphis Grizzlies. When he was in the rotation, he was primarily taking the minutes of Mychal Mulder. After such a long absence, it’s difficult to imagine Lee playing heavy minutes as he’ll likely need to get his conditioning back, but if he does play, he could chip away at Mychal Mulder and Jordan Poole’s minutes.
As reported by: the Official NBA Injury ReportDamion Lee (protocols) listed doubtful Friday; Kelly Oubre (wrist) remains out
Lee has been sidelined for a month, but has been upgraded to doubtful due to the health and safety protocols as the Warriors prepare for their do or die game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Oubre remains out, so it’s likely that the Warriors stick with their eight man rotation that they’ve played the last few games. If Lee somehow is available to play, he’ll likely dig into the minutes of Mychal Mulder and Jordan Poole.
As reported by: the Official NBA Injury Report Other tagged players: Kelly OubreMalcolm Brogdon (hamstring) and Edmond Sumner (knee) available to play Thursday
Brogdon and Sumner were both upgraded from questionable to available, and will be able to play in the do or die game against the Washington Wizards. This doesn’t come as a surprise for Brogdon, as he played last game and was able to play 21 minutes, although 14 of those were in the first half, and he could’ve approached 30 if the game wasn’t a blowout. Sumner’s a bigger risk, as he played only 6 minutes. He may be needed as the Wizards play smaller with their three guard lineup, but his minutes may be limited after he didn’t play in the second half last game. Brogdon may play more tonight in a competitive game, but still carries risk due to his injury.
As reported by: the Indiana Pacers via Twitter Other tagged players: Edmond SumnerAnthony Davis available to play Wednesday, as expected
Davis was listed as questionable despite saying himself he would play against the Warriors. Vogel confirmed Davis would play, saying that everyone on the roster is good to go from an availability sense. Davis will start at power forward, and should be able to play his regular minutes despite the injury.
As reported by: Mike Trudell via TwitterGrayson Allen (abdominal) available to play Wednesday
Allen was upgraded from questionable to available, and will play against the San Antonio Spurs. He will be coming off the bench, and is not a lock to crack the rotation, but may play minutes in the teens to help fill in for backcourt minutes. His playing time will dig into the minutes of De’Anthony Melton, and Desmond Bane.
As reported by: the Memphis Grizzlies via TwitterTrey Lyles (ankle) ruled out Wednesday
Lyles was ruled out due to an ankle injury that’s cost him the last two months. His minutes will continue to be filled by Drew Eubanks.
As reported by: Paul Garcia via TwitterGrayson Allen (abdominal) a game-time decision Wednesday
Allen is a game-time decision with his ab injury as the Grizzlies prepare for their play-in against the San Antonio Spurs. Allen missed the last seven games with the injury, and it’s likely that if he was cleared he wouldn’t play heavy minutes. If he does sit, it would likely lead to a few more minutes for Desmond Bane, De’Anthony Melton, and possibly Dillon Brooks.
As reported by: Meghan Triplett via TwitterLineup update: Celtics will start Walker, Smart, Fournier, Tatum, and Robert Williams Tuesday
Williams will get the start in his first game back from his absence. The rest of the Celtics lineup remains the same, as they’ll have the core starters out there.
