Chimezie Metu (back) available to play Friday
Chimezie Metu will be available to play Friday when the Kings take on the San Antonio Spurs. Metu will most likely not see much time as he was questionable all the way up to game time but the little time that he does see (we have him projected for 10 minutes) will likely come at the expense of Damian Jones and possibly a couple minutes from Marvin Bagley and/or Richaun Holmes. Metu is not yet DFS relevant and likely will remain that way unless Holmes or Bagley is forced to miss time.

Lineup Update: Lakers will start Caruso, Caldwell-Pope, Kuzma, Davis, Drummond on Friday
The Lakers will run with the same starting unit that they did last night despite 4 members being listed on the injury report earlier in the day. Caruso is the only big question mark for the Lakers still as Coach Vogel said that he might not be able to finish the game due to a foot injury, if that is the case the other Laker guards will have to help out mainly Ben McLemore.

Norman Powell will be available and start on Friday when the Trail Blazers take on the Los Angeles Lakers. Powell who missed last game should return to his normal role in the starting lineup and see over 30 minutes. This will likely limit the minutes of Anfernee Simons, Derrick Jones, and Nassir Little who saw increased roles last game with Powell out. The main Trail Blazers that should be targeted are Lillard and McCollum who should have most of the Portland offense run through them as per usual.

We expected this after Crowder was upgraded to probable Coach Monty Williams gave us an update about an hour ago and it sounded like Crowder will play tonight (and absorb most of the minutes vacated by Cam Johnson who is out tonight) and be limited meaning a few extra minutes for Torrey Craig and Dario Saric. The Suns offense should still primarily be run through Chris Paul, Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton.

Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Marc Gasol will all be available to play Friday against the Trail Blazers. With the same players being available as last night we should expect the rotations to be somewhat similar. Caruso, KCP, Kuzma, AD, and Drummond started and all played about 30 minutes aside from Drummond who played 22 before the game turned into a blowout. Wes Matthews and Ben McLemore led the second unit in minutes along with Montrezl Harrell and and Markieff Morris who all saw minutes in the 20’s. Alfonso Mckinnie and Marc Gasol got some run but not enough to play a very important role. Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma, and Andre Drummond are the Lakers’ top options with Lebron and Schroder out and much of the offense should be run through them with Caruso being the primary facilitator.

Coach Frank Vogel stated that Alex Caruso will start Friday but may be limited due to a left foot injury. The Lakers are down all of their primary ballhandlers other than Caruso so they will likely run him as long as he is physically able to go, after that it could be some combination of Ben McLemore, Wes Matthews, and Kyle Kuzma that handle the ball. Anthony Davis, Kyle Kuzma, and Andre Drummond are the Lakers’ top options with Lebron and Schroder out and much of the offense should be run through them with Caruso, for as long as he can go tonight, being the primary facilitator.

Immanuel Quickley and Alec Burks both have been ruled out Friday after being listed as doubtful the whole day. Elfrid Payton, RJ Barrett and Derrick Rose should continue to see most of the guard minutes while the offense should run primarily through Julius Randle.

As reported by: Official NBA Injury Report Harrison Barnes (adductor) ruled out Friday; Chimezie Metu will "try and play"
Barnes has been ruled out with an adductor injury that has cost him the last five games, while Metu is listed as questionable with a back injury that has cost him the last three. Maurice Harkless will likely start again in place of Barnes; he played 36 minutes on Wednesday, and could be in line for significant starter minutes again if this game stays close. Delon Wright once again got the start for Tyrese Haliburton, and played 40 minutes and dominated the ball but has seen his price skyrocket to 6.8K on DK limiting his value. If Metu plays, he would likely take a few minutes away from Marvin Bagley and possibly Richaun Holmes as well. Wright and Buddy Hield should dominate most of the offense for the Kings with Holmes and Bagley also contributing.

Coach Monty Williams said he will talk to Crowder after he warms up to determine how much he will play but it will not be his full minutes allotment Friday, this will likely mean Torrey Craig or Dario Saric will see some extra minutes until Crowder is fully healthy.

As expected Dean Wade will enter the starting lineup Friday for Kevin Love after he banged knees with Enes Kanter on Wednesday.

JJ Redick was a late addition to the injury report and has been ruled out Friday. We did not expect him to see much playing time anyway and the backup guard minutes should be handled by Jalen Brunson and Trey Burke with a few minutes possibly going to Josh Green.

Kevin Love was a late addition to the injury report and has been ruled out for Friday when Cleveland takes on the Dallas Mavericks. With Love out Dean Wade will make his way into the starting lineup and Anderson Varejao will likely see some more minutes off the bench. With Kevin Love off the court the biggest benefactors from an FPM increase standpoint are Jarrett Allen and Damyean Dotson who both see an increase of .03. With Love out the Cavs players to consider are Allen due to an FPM increase and Wade and other Cavs depth as value plays due to increased playing time from Love’s vacated minutes.

The starters should see the bulk of the minutes for the Rockets but with eight available players every Rocket should play a considerable amount of minutes Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks.
