Rodney Hood (foot) available to play Wednesday
Hood has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Wednesday’s matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans after missing one game due to a sprained left foot, while Harry Giles III was previously ruled out with a strained left calf. In Hood’s absence, Nassir Little joined the rotation and logged just over 17 minutes of action off the bench, but with Hood now available, he may go back to being a DNP-CD on a regular basis. There’s been no word of a potential minute restriction for Hood, but since the Trail Blazers’ are generally healthier on the wing, it’s unlikely Hood would see enough playing time to receive an official restriction anyway.

Gary Harris (groin) and Monte Morris (shoulder) active Wednesday
Harris has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be active for Wednesday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards after missing several weeks with a strained left adductor, while Morris will return from a one-game absence because of a strained right shoulder. Assuming neither are severely limited by minute restrictions, their presence will create quite a logjam in the backcourt rotation, especially after the stellar performance of Facundo Campazzo in 40 minutes of action in Tuesday’s loss. Additionally, Harris will reclaim his usual place in the starting lineup alongside Jamal Murray in the backcourt, whereas Morris will resume the backup point guard role, which leaves Campazzo in a bit in limbo for playing time and it’s not out of the realm of possibility he’s a DNP-CD in tonight’s contest.

As expected, Gordon has been cleared to play and will start in Wednesday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers after previously being a game-time decision due to a sore right groin, while P.J. Tucker was already ruled out and will join Victor Oladipo and Christian Wood on the Rockets’ inactive list because of a left quad contusion. In Tucker’s absence, one of Danuel House Jr. or David Nwaba should remain in the starting lineup, and they each are coming off of phenomenal fantasy performances in at least 36 minutes of action in Monday’s loss. However, with Gordon appearing likely to play, they won’t have quite as high of minute floors in tonight’s contest and could now be overpriced for their expected roles across the daily fantasy industry this evening.

Simmons was briefly listed as questionable on the Sixers’ injury report, and he’s now officially been ruled out of Wednesday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets due to an illness, while Embiid will be available to play after missing one game with lower back tightness. In Simmons’ absence, head coach Doc Rivers has opted for defense over on-ball creation or shooting as Matisse Thybulle will receive the start alongside Danny Green on the wing, which will move Seth Curry over to point guard and likely limit Tyrese Maxey to only backup point minutes in the second unit. It’s still not out of the realm of possibility Maxey sees minutes alongside Curry, but with Isaiah Joe likely to join the rotation, Maxey and Furkan Korkmaz could have significantly lower minute floors than it would appear at first glance.

In his absence, Isaiah Roby will likely receive the starting nod at the center position, and he’s proven to be useful for fantasy purposes in this situation in the past while averaging just under 27 minutes per start. As for Gilgeous-Alexander, he should reclaim his spot in the starting lineup alongside Theo Maledon, who took over the point guard duties in Tuesday’s win, which should send Kenrich Williams back to the bench to man the second unit with Justin Jackson, Hamidou Diallo, and Mike Muscala this evening.

Snell has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics after missing two games due to right Achilles soreness. In his absence, Skylar Mays has stepped into the rotation and has generally played well, so it remains to be seen if Snell actually gets his previous role back or if it’s now more of a timeshare, or if he’s just the odd man out entirely. However, either way, none of the Hawks second unit wings are realistic daily fantasy options on a 10-game slate, but the bench backlog could be reason enough to avoid starters like Kevin Huerter and Cam Reddish in case their minute floors are negatively affected by an expanded rotation.

As expected, Walker has been included on the Celtics’ initial injury report and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks as the team attempts to manage his recovery from a left knee injury on the second leg of a back-to-back set, while Theis will miss a second straight game due to a sprained right index finger. The absence of Theis should allow Tristan Thompson to remain in the starting lineup a see a majority of the vacated center minutes, though Robert Williams is also likely to see significant time as the backup center, especially if Grant Williams is a DNP-CD once again. As for Walker, the last time he was sidelined Pritchard ended up receiving the start at point guard, and Jeff Teague reemerged from the depths of head coach Brad Stevens’ bench to log 22 minutes with the second unit.

Despite originally being listed as doubtful on the Raptors’ injury report, Anunoby has been cleared to play and will start in Tuesday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks after missing 10 games due to a strained left calf, while Yuta Watanabe remains sidelined with a sprained left ankle. There haven’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction for Anunoby, and he’ll replace Aron Baynes in the starting lineup for tonight’s contest as head coach Nick Nurse has opted to start with a smaller lineup combination than usual. If Baynes remains in the rotation, the return of Anunoby will certainly cut into the playing time of Stanley Johnson and DeAndre Bembry in the second unit and one of them could even end up being a DNP-CD on most nights moving forward. However, if Baynes is actually the odd man out, Chris Boucher would become an intriguing tournament target across the daily fantasy industry this evening.

Despite originally being listed out on the Thunder’s injury report, Maledon will now be available to play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers after missing five of the last six games due to the NBA’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols. The Thunder are still extremely shorthanded and will be without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander for a fourth straight game, so it’s certainly possible Maledon takes over the starting point guard duties if he isn’t subject to any kind of minute restriction in tonight’s contest. Head coach Mark Daigneault has used seven different starting lineups over the previous eight games, so it remains to be seen if Hamidou Diallo continues to come off the bench to lead the second unit since he only logged 26 minutes in Sunday’s loss.

Irving was included on the Nets’ initial injury report and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to lower back tightness, while Kevin Durant remains sidelined with a strained left hamstring and will miss a second straight game. In their absences, it appears as if Jeff Green is the likeliest candidate to join the starting lineup alongside DeAndre Jordan in the frontcourt with Joe Harris and Bruce Brown sliding up to small forward and shooting guard, respectively. There is a huge sample size with Irving and Durant off the court since Harden joined the team, but in that time, Harden unsurprisingly leads all the Nets by a wide margin in both usage rate and assist rate, making him one of the top spend-ups on the slates across the daily fantasy industry this evening.

The absence of Theis should allow Tristan Thompson to rejoin the starting lineup a see a majority of the vacated center minutes, though Robert Williams is also likely to see significant time as the backup center if head coach Brad Stevens doesn’t revert to smaller lineup combinations that utilize Grant Williams as a small-ball five more often. Either way, Williams and Williams are poised to see increased roles in tonight’s contest with two Celtics’ starters unavailable once again.

Holmes has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Brooklyn Nets due to a sore right knee, while Bagley will return from a two-game absence because of left calf soreness. Bagley will slide down one spot and start at the center position in tonight’s contest, but head coach Luke Walton already confirmed with reporters during his pregame media availability that Bagley will be subject to some type of minutes restriction, which could lead to some additional playing time off the bench for Hassan Whiteside or Nemanja Bjelica in the frontcourt. However, those minute allotments may be volatile depending on how Walton opts to utilize different lineup combinations and could also allow Glenn Robinson or Chimezie Metu to rejoin the regular rotation depending on the aforementioned lineup itterations.

Prince has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors due to a sore left ankle, while Windler was a late scratch and won’t be available to play because of a sore left knee. The Cavaliers will also be without Andre Drummond for the foreseeable future as the front office finalizes a trade or buyout, so Jarrett Allen and Cedi Osman will move into the starting lineup at center and power forward, respectively, in tonight’s contest. These absences will leave Cleveland with just nine available players, so Lamar Stevens and Dean Wade could see a significant amount of run with the second unit whereas JaVale McGee should handle a majority of the backup center minutes this evening.
