Teague has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Friday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards after missing two consecutive games due to a sprained left ankle. However, the Celtics will be without a host of role players because of the NBA’s health and safety protocols, and Tristan Thompson, Robert Williams, and Grant Williams will all be subject to a minimum of seven-day isolation following contact tracing. Teague will likely join the starting lineup in place of Thompson, which will allow Daniel Theis to slide over to the center position, and he should have a substantially more sturdy minute floor than normal as the only center besides Tacko Fall, who’s never recorded more than 10 minutes in a single game, on the active roster.

Aaron Gordon (hamstring) listed out Friday
Gordon has officially been downgraded from questionable and is now listed out on the Magic’s injury report for Friday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets as the team attempts to manage his hamstring injury on the front end of a back-to-back set. In his absence, Gary Clark should remain in the starting lineup at power forward for a minimum of one more game, and he is coming off of a dismal fantasy performance in 28 minutes of action in Wednesday’s win. This will also be the Magic’s first contest without Markelle Fultz, who is done for the season with a torn ACL, so regardless of Evan Fournier’s final status, Clark, Cole Anthony, and Dwayne Bacon should be in line for significantly more playing time than they’ve been afforded in the early portion of the season thus far.

Caldwell-Pope has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t be available to play in Thursday’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs due to a sprained left ankle that has now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Despite Alex Caruso rejoining the team after passing the NBA’s health and safety protocols, Kyle Kuzma will remain in the starting lineup at small forward even after a couple of disappointing fantasy performances in 30 minutes of action in the previous two contests. Additionally, Wesley Matthews and Talen Horton-Tucker ended up seeing significant increases in playing time over this span, but the presence of Caruso really throws a wrench into the second unit rotation, making all three easy to avoid in all daily fantasy formats this evening.

Hood has officially been upgraded from questionable and is now listed as available to play in Thursday’s matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing the previous two games due to a left quad strain. Hood hasn’t had a substantial role in head coach Terry Stotts’ rotation in the early stages of the regular season, but his presence in the second unit could be enough to cut into the playing time of Gary Trent Jr., Anfernee Simons, and possible even Derrick Jones Jr. and Robert Covington to some extent.

Despite being originally being confirmed in the Cavaliers’ starting lineup, Sexton has officially been ruled out and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies due to a sprained left ankle. Cleveland will still be without Darius Garland and Dante Exum because of their respective ailments, so with Sexton unable to suit up, they will be scarcely thin at the guard positions and it would likely allow Lamar Stevens to remain in the rotation behind Dotson, who will start as the de facto point guard in tonight’s contest. It’s also possible that Cedi Osman takes over more of the playmaking responsibilities with the dearth of initiators left on the Cavaliers’ active roster.

With Curry unable to suit up, the Sixers are suddenly down to eight regular rotation players, which could lead to nominal minutes for some combination of Isaiah Joe, Dakota Mathias, or Paul Reed off the bench, but the main beneficiary would be Shake Milton, who will likely step into the starting lineup alongside Ben Simmons in the backcourt. Curry’s potential absence would also elevate the minute floor of Danny Green while one or both of Tyrese Maxey and Matisse Thybulle could see extended run off the bench this evening.

The Nets are already without Kevin Durant as he still needs to pass the NBA’s health and safety protocols related to COVID-19, so Caris LeVert will likely receive the starting nod at point guard for the second time this season, while either Joe Harris or Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot could receive the start at small forward if head coach Steve Nash opts to bring one of Taurean Prince or Jeff Green off the bench this evening.

Porter Jr. was originally on track to return, but he’s officially been ruled out of Thursday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks as he’s yet to pass the NBA’s health and safety protocols related to COVID-19 and will miss his fourth consecutive game. In his absence, Will Barton will likely continue starting at the small forward position, and while his playing time and fantasy production have been sporadic, he has logged at least 35 minutes in two of the Nuggets’ previous three contests. Jamal Murray has been far from a model of consistency as well, but he has benefitted the most with Porter off the court by averaging 1.13 DraftKings and 1.06 FanDuel points per minute to go along with a 25.5% usage rate.

George has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors after missing one game due to a sore right ankle, while Marcus Morris will make his season debut following his questionable designation on the Clippers’ injury report with right knee soreness. Interestingly, Kawhi Leonard was excluded from the report, and if he actually does suit up for tonight’s contest, it will be the first back-to-back set he will have played in over three years. There have been no reports if Leonard will have his minutes limited if he plays, but that’s certainly a fair assumption after he logged 37 minutes yesterday, especially if George is able to handle his usual allotment of minutes this evening.

Jackson has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a sprained right ankle that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. The Pistons are also expected to be without Killian Hayes for an undetermined period of time, so Wayne Ellington will receive another start at the shooting guard positions, while Delon Wright will handle the point guard responsibilities when Derrick Rose isn’t on the floor. Svi Mykhailiuk also saw a season-high 30 minutes in Monday’s loss, but with Blake Griffin available this time around, there will be fewer forward minutes available with Saddiq Bey being the likeliest candidate to be the first player other than Rose off the bench this evening.

Harkless has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t be available to play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics due to a left forearm contusion that also forced him to miss Tuesday’s practice. However, the absence of Harkless won’t have a significant impact on the Heat’s rotation since he’s seen fewer than 10 minutes off the bench in each of the previous four games. This means that Kelly Olynyk will receive his second consecutive start at power forward following a tremendous fantasy outing in just under 28 minutes of action in Monday’s blowout win.

Bullock has been cleared to play and will start in Wednesday’s matchup against the Utah Jazz despite originally being listed as questionable on the Knicks’ injury report with a sore left knee. The Knicks are already without Nerlens Noel, Alec Burks, and Frank Ntilikina because of their respective ailments, so they are relatively thin at a couple of positions in head coach Tom Thibodeau’s second unit. With Omari Spellman on track to make his season debut off the bench, he’ll likely slide into at least a portion of the backup center minutes, though Julius Randle filled that role in Monday’s win and logged a whopping 43 minutes of action, making it possible Thibodeau continues to run him into the ground with an unsustainable workload over a full season.
