Reddish has been upgraded from probable and will be available for Wednesday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls despite dealing with a sore right shoulder, while Evan Turner remains sidelined with Achilles soreness. The Hawks are usually liberal in the injury reporting, so it was almost a guarantee that Reddish would play, especially since he was able to finish yesterday’s game and log 29 minutes of action in the process. No other regulars were listed on the injury report, so Atlanta presumably won’t be resting anyone on the second leg of a back-to-back set, and head coach Lloyd Pierce already confirmed with reporters that Trae Young won’t have a minute restriction in his second game back from a sprained right ankle.

Domantas Sabonis (calf) will play Wednesday; Myles Turner (ankle) and Jeremy Lamb (ankle) ruled out
Sabonis has been upgraded from questionable and will play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards after missing two games due to a left calf contusion, while Turner and Lamb have been ruled out with their respective ailments. There’s been no report of a potential minute restriction for Sabonis, so he’ll presumably replace one of Goga Bitadze or Jakarr Sampson in the Pacers’ starting lineup. The last time Sabonis was active and Turner was unavailable, TJ Leaf ended up drawing the start at power forward but played just eight minutes, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Sampson started his third straight contest this evening.

Gordon has been listed out on the updated version of the Rocket’s injury report and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Golden State Warriors due to a sore left hamstring. His absence will enable Danuel House Jr. to remain in the starting lineup at small forward after posting an impressive fantasy lineup in nearly 37 minutes of action in Monday’s win. House’s usage will take a bit of a hit with Russell Westbrook returning to the lineup, but the unavailability of Gordon should continue to enable Ben McLemore to record meaning minutes off the bench, as he logged 30 minutes in head coach Mike D’Antoni’s tight eight-man rotation.

He hasn’t had a huge game yet this season, but I like the opportunity that remains to buy low with Powell. He was inserted into the starting lineup the other night and should have plenty of potential with Kleber banged up and the team thin on the interior. We know Powell is capable of being a fantasy point per minute performer, so anything in the 28-30 minute range should allow him to get the job done at his current salary. He’ll be needed up front against Orlando’s front line, and he’s a nice value on a tricky slate.

Ross is a new addition to the Magic’s injury report and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks due to a sore right knee, while Mo Bamba will be rested on the second leg of a back-to-back set after logging 14 minutes in Tuesday’s loss. Ross is typically one of the first players off the Orlando bench on most nights, so his usual 20-24 minutes of playing time will need to absorbed by other members of the wing rotation. Unfortunately, it seems like his absence will a minimal effect on the existing members of the rotation, as head coach Steve Clifford has Michael Carter-Williams and Wes Iwundu at the end of his bench to soak up all of the available playing time mentioned previously.

Jackson Jr. went through Grizzlies shootaround Wednesday morning and confirmed with reporters that he will play in tonight’s matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing one game due to a sore right knee. There’s been no inclination of a potential minute restriction for Jackson, so he’ll presumably resume his role as the starting power forward, which will send Brandon Clarke back to the bench to resume a reserve role. Clarke was mostly disappointing from a fantasy perspective in Monday’s loss, as he was only allotted 20 minutes in the rotation, which was his second-lowest minute total of the entire season thus far. Instead, Bruno Caboclo logged 24 minutes off the bench after not eclipsing nine minutes in any of his previous three appearances, including two DNP-CDs.

Russell has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets due to a sprained right ankle that’s now forced him to miss three games. To say the Golden State roster is depleted by injuries would be an understatement, and with Russell unable to suit up, it leaves them with just nine available players. It’s pretty easy to project that the starting frontcourt will be Willie Cauley-Stein, Eric Paschall, and Glenn Robinson III sans Draymond Green, but Ky Bowman has continued to grab hold of the reigns of the available playing time at point guard, and he has averaged just under 38 minutes in his previous two starts while recording a respectable rate of 0.88 FanDuel and 0.96 DraftKings points per minute over that span as the only true point guard left on the Warriors active roster.

Coby White has played 8 NBA games and has grabbed 17+ points in 3 of them. He is coming off of a game where he had a ridiculous 33% usage rate versus the Lakers. These price tags are near the bottom on each site, so this rookie deserves a spot on your cash teams based on price, matchup and skill set.
Laying the Wood on a Small Favorite
This is a good matchup for Detroit, and Christian Wood checks in with a cheap price tag. This was an explosive fantasy player last season and those skills remain in tact with his new team this year. In the 5 games where he has received 15+ minutes this season, he has also exceeded a 17% usage rate. Simply put: When he plays, he racks up a ton of fantasy points for himself.
Shorthanded Team Opens Up Value
Suspensions and injuries should open up some value this Atlanta team today. Without John Collins last night, we saw Hunter grab a season-high 36 minutes, and he also had a season-high 16 points. At these low prices across the industry, I will jump back on this train tonight.
Point Center?
The do-it-all big man for Minnesota is back in the mix today after his two game suspension for scuffling with Joel Embiid. I’m also back in the mix ready to throw Towns into some DFS lineups. Remember, this is a player who was leading the NBA in THREE POINTERS at the time of his injury. Towns has a massive floor and ceiling every time he takes the floor (except when he gets ejected). While a matchup against Memphis never used to be ideal, we also have to note that Memphis is playing at a much faster pace this year. Minnesota has an implied team total of 115 points in this game, and they might also be without Jeff Teague. Hello, point guard/center Karl-Anthony Towns? I’m half kidding, but he should fill up the box score in this game.
Still Value With This Price Tag
Detroit Pistons – The injury woes continue in Detroit. Rose, Jackson, and Frazier have all been confirmed out for tonight. The sites have priced up Bruce Brown, but I am not sure that it was enough. He is handling the ball whenever he is on the floor and has seven assists in each of the last two games, usage hovering in the 22-25% range, and production of just over a fantasy point per minute. I’m happy to continue to ride the wave with all the injuries. Kennard should also be forced into heavy action and is worth a look as a mid-range play.
Will Barton (toe) will play Tuesday
Barton has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Miami Heat after missing the last three games due to left toe inflammation. There’s yet to be any report of a potential minute restriction for Barton, so he’ll presumably assume his normal starting small forward role, though his playing time does fluctuate depending on how Barton and the reserve wings are performing on a given night. The primary situation to watch in Denver is who will claim the primary backup small forward role now that Barton is back in the fold. All signs point to Torrey Craig being the first man up, but it only feels like a matter of time before Michael Porter Jr. begins earning more playing time.

Winslow and Jones Jr. have officially been cleared and will play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Denver Nuggets, while Dion Waiters is inactive to make room for the aforementioned duo on the game day active roster. Spoelstra has been notorious in the past for declaring a player active an ready to go, only for them to receive a DNP-CD in their first game back from an injury layoff, so it wouldn’t be shocking if this ends up being the case with Jones this evening. The return of Winslow to the starting lineup will almost certainly send Duncan Robinson back to the bench, but the extent of his role remains unclear, as he recorded two minutes in the only game both Winslow and Jimmy Butler were available this season.
