Kevin Huerter (calf) out Tuesday
Huerter has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors due to a strained right calf, and he’ll join Miles Plumlee, Kent Bazemore, and Taurean Prince on the Hawks’ inactive list for tonight’s contest, while Dewayne Dedmon has been cleared to play despite dealing with a sprained right ankle. DeAndre Bembry replaced Daniel Hamilton in the starting lineup for Sunday’s loss, but he didn’t necessarily see an increase in playing time, as he logged just 27 minutes compared to Hamilton’s 23 minutes off the bench. However, with Huerter unavailable, that opens up a significant amount minutes for both Bembry and Hamilton on the wing. There’s not a tremendous sample size with Huerter, Bazemore, and Prince off the court together this season, but in that limited time, Trae Young owns a 34.3% usage rate and is averaging 1.31 DraftKings and 1.22 FanDuel points per minute.

Darren Collison (leg) and Cory Joseph (thigh) available to play Tuesday
Collison and Joseph have both officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers despite dealing with a sore right leg and a bruised right thigh, respectively, while Turner will miss his second straight game with a sore right shoulder. In his absence, Domantas Sabonis will receive the starting nod at center once again and is coming off of a serviceable fantasy performance in 31 minutes of action in Sunday’s loss. Anytime Turner or Sabonis have been sidelined, Kyle O’Quinn has joined the rotation as the primary backup center, and he could be worth a shot in tournaments at his inexpensive salary across the industry, as he is averaging 1.39 DraftKings and 1.47 FanDuel points per minutes with Turner off the court this season.

Green is a late addition to the Raptors’ injury report and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks due to rest purposes as Toronto is at the tail end of a stretch of three games in four nights, while C.J. Miles is listed is as doubtful with a sore right hip. However, Miles has mostly been out of head coach Nick Nurse’s rotation for a while now, so his likely unavailability won’t have much of an impact on the remaining members of the wing rotation. The absence of Green will enable Fred VanVleet to remain in the starting lineup for at least one additional game after logging 35 minutes and posting a serviceable fantasy outing in place of Kawhi Leonard in Sunday’s win. This is the first game in quite a while that Leonard and Kyle Lowry are active at the same time, but Pascal Siakam could be the better speculative tournament target considering he owns a 23.3% usage rate (+3.5%) and is averaging 1.07 DraftKings and 1.08 FanDuel points per minute with Green off the court this season.

Redick is a late addition to the Sixers’ injury report and won’t play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Washington Wizards due to lower back tightness, while Jimmy Butler and Wilson Chandler were removed from the injury report and will each make their return from a two-game injury absence. With Redick unavailable, Furkan Korkaz will remain in the starting lineup alongside Butler on the wing, and he’s been serviceable from a fantasy perspective in an average of 29 minutes over his previous two spot starts. There’s been no confirmation from the Sixers or head coach Brett Brown if Butler or Chandler will be subject to minute restrictions in their first game back, but assuming they’re a full-go, Butler would be an intriguing tournament target considering he owns a 30.6% usage rate (+6.2%) and is averaging 1.18 DraftKings and 1.19 FanDuel points per minute with Redick off the court.

Dellavedova has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers after missing two consecutive games due to a sprained left foot, while Ante Zizic has also been cleared to return from a six-game absence. However, he is no longer locked into a role in the rotation with Tristan Thompson back and logging at least 26 minutes in each of the Cavaliers last two games.

Lamb was able to participate fully in shootaround this morning, and he confirmed with reporters that he will play in Tuesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers after missing three consecutive games due to a strained right hamstring. There’s been no word if Lamb will have his minutes monitored in his first game back, but he’ll still likely reclaim his spot in the starting lineup either way, which will send Devonte’ Graham back to the bench to resume a reserve role following a few mediocre fantasy performances in an average of 26.9 minutes per start. Meanwhile, Bismack Biyombo has started the last two games at center in place of the injured Cody Zeller, but head coach James Borrego has essentially ridden the hot hand at center in his absence and both Biyombo and Hernangomez logged at least 21 minutes in Sunday’s win, keeping each in consideration as high-risk, high-reward tournament targets on tonight’s eight-game slate.

Dario Saric is one of my favorite tournament plays tonight. I don’t expect a lot of people to be on him, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he gets a little more run with the new coach and Covington out tonight. I do still think there is risk to playing him, but at his FanDuel price, he’s worth playing as a punt option. I’m likely going to risk it on DraftKings as well, as I really do like his upside in this matchup.
Low Owned Value Play
I don’t typically like to target games that I don’t expect to stay close, but with Kevin Huerter being downgraded to questionable, I have a hard time not seeing DeAndre Bembry playing 30+ minutes tonight. On FanDuel I’d much rather play Otto Porter, but on DraftKings, I like this $4,600 price tag. I don’t expect a lot of people to be on him with some value plays starting to open up with news coming out. He has double-digit shot attempts in back-to-back games, and with the current injuries, there is a lot of usage available on this team.
Take Advantage On DraftKings
With Bagley out tonight, Bjelica should play around 30 minutes, which makes him a really solid option on DraftKings tonight. I think he’s a borderline play on FanDuel at his price. Bjelica played 30+ minutes in three straight games before the game against the Magic last night with Bagley back in the rotation. He had 31+ fantasy points and double-digit points in each of those three games.
Great Spot To Target
With Devin Booker unlikely to play tonight, Josh Jackson becomes one of the top value plays on this slate. He should play close to 30 minutes tonight, and he’s averaging 1.08 fantasy points per minute with Booker off the floor this season. He has a 26.7% usage rate with Booker and Ariza off the floor this season. I like Warren and Ayton as well, but Jackson is a great discount from those two options. The Suns also have one of the biggest bumps in pace.
Marvin Bagley III (rest) and Iman Shumpert (finger) listed out Tuesday
Bagley has been listed out on the most recent version of the Kings’ injury report for Tuesday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to rest purposes on the second night of a back-to-back set, while Shumpert is also listed out with a sprained right index finger that’s now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Bagley ended up absorbing 20 minutes off the bench in Monday’s loss, despite reportedly being on a strict minute restriction for his first few games back from an extended injury absence, so his unavailability will certainly reopen a significant amount of playing time for Nemanja Bjelica and Justin Jackson at the power forward position. De’Aaron Fox has been the main beneficiary from a usage standpoint with a +2.2% usage rate differential (28.4%) with Shumpert and Bagley off the court this season, but Bogdanovic has capitalized the most from a production perspective, averaging 1.10 DraftKings and 1.08 FanDuel points per minute in this scenario.

Schroder has officially been listed as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a bruised left quad, while Alex Abrines remains away from the team and is still without a timetable for return. Schroder typically absorbs minutes in the high-20s off the bench as the Thunder’s sixth-man, so his potential absence would open up a significant amount of playing time on the wing for the likes Abdel Nader and Haidou Diallo, while Raymond Felton could also enter the rotation to serve as the backup behind Russell Westbrook at point guard. Nader has been a massive beneficiary with Schroder and Abrines off the court this season, recording a 24.3% usage rate (+5.8%) with an average of 1.21 DraftKings and 1.24 FanDuel points per minute, but he’s unlikely to see enough playing time become fantasy relevant in tournament formats this evening.

Booker didn’t participate in shootaround Tuesday morning, and head coach Igor Kokoskov disclosed to reporters that there is a good chance Booker won’t be able to play in tonight’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to back spasms he began experiencing during Sunday’s loss. Josh Jackson ended up replacing Booker in the starting lineup to begin the second half of that contest, and Kokoskov already confirmed that Jackson will start if Booker is unable to suit up this evening. On top of that, Jackson has been one of the primary beneficiaries with Booker off the court this season, and he leads the Suns with a 26.5% usage rate and is averaging 1.10 DraftKings and 1.12 FanDuel points per minute in this scenario. Another player in position to benefit from Booker’s likely absence is De’Anthony Melton, as he owns a 20.3% usage rate (+3.2%) with an average of 1.13 DraftKings and 1.16 FanDuel points per minute in a 141.0 minutes sample size.

Harris has officially been listed as questionable for Tuesday’s matchup against the Miami Heat due to left hamstring tightness he began experiencing during Monday’s loss. Harris and Paul Millsap finally returned to the starting lineup in yesterday’s contest, but Millsap was still limited to just 22 minutes as he continues to work his way back from a fractured right big toe. If Harris is unable to suit up, Juan Hernangomez would likely reclaim his temporary starting role for at least one more game, and he typically saw minutes in the low-30s as a member of the starting unit while Harris and Millsap were sidelined with their respective injuries. The main beneficiary with Harris off the court this season has been Nikola Jokic, as he owns a 30.5% usage rate (+2.8%) and is averaging 1.55 DraftKings and 1.55 FanDuel points per minute in this scenario.
