Ben Simmons will play Tuesday.
As expected Ben Simmons will suit it up tonight for the 76ers against the Hawks. Simmons missed shoot-around with an illness. With Simmons playing, McConnell/Fultz will assume their normal roles.
As reported by: Keith Pompey via twitterBen Simmons expected to play Tuesday
Head Coach Brett Brown said he expects Ben Simmons to play Tuesday against the Hawks. Simmons missed the shoot-around this morning for the 76ers with an illness. This game against Atlanta should be a blowout, so Simmons could see limited minutes tonight.
As reported by: Keith Pompey via twitterKyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball ruled out Tuesday
Kyle Kuzma and Lonzo Ball will miss the Lakers game on Tuesday versus the Rockets. Ball has been out for a while, and Kuzma will miss his second straight game with an ankle injury. Josh Hart benefits most from Ball and Kuzma being out. Last game, he played 41 minutes, and finished with over 41 FDP.
As reported by: Mike Bresnahan via twitterMarquese Chriss doubtful Tuesday
Marquese Chriss is unlikely to play tonight against Dallas with an hip injury. Dragan Bender benefits most with Chriss off the court. Last game, Bender played 41 minutes. Jared Dudley and Alec Peters should also see some added minutes.
As reported by: Scott Bordow via TwitterJosh Jackson, Alan Williams, Devin Booker, and Elfrid Payton all ruled out Tuesday
The Suns will be without Josh Jackson, Alan Williams, Devin Booker, and Elfrid Payton Tuesday night against Dallas. With Josh Jackson out last game, Danuel House Jr. started and finished with 39.1 FDP points, while playing 45 minutes. Alex Len should see a couple more minutes. with Alan Willliams out. Booker and Payton have been out for a while, so that shouldn’t change to many things. Continue to fire Tyler Ulis and Shaquille Harrison into your lineups.
As reported by: Scott Bordow via TwitterFavorite Play of the Night
The Jazz are one of the only teams with something to play for tonight. They could finish as high as third or as low as seventh depending on how the next two games play out. Their starters will see a ton of minutes tonight against the Warriors at home. Donovan Mitchell has had an incredible rookie season and should push for 36-38 minutes in this matchup. He’s one of the few expensive options that we can count on to play a full complement of minutes.
Lock and Load this Power Forward
The Pacers are locked into the five seed in the East and have decided to rest Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Thaddeus Young. Better yet, we can expect them to limit the minutes of Darren Collison and Myles Turner. Domantas Sabonis will be the go-to option offensively and he should log 30+ minutes in an exploitable matchup against the Hornets. He is coming off of a massive 51 fantasy point outing in this same matchup.
Sneaky Point Guard off the Bench
The Pacers are locked into the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference, so they have no reason to play their starters in their last game of the season. They have already ruled out Victor Oladipo, Bojan Bogdanovic, and Thaddeus Young and I fully expect them to limit the minutes for Darren Collison and Myles Turner. This all sets up beautifully for Cory Joseph, who could end up playing 30+ minutes against the Hornets, who also have nothing to play for at this point.
Attacking a High Ceiling for GPP Contests
Randle has been rolling since the All Star break, and while his salary is a bit higher than we would generally like to pay for him, that is largely a non-factor on a night where it might be hard to utilize the entire salary cap. This should be a fast-paced, high scoring game between the Lakers and Rockets, and Randle has massive blow up potential in a game like this. He is averaging 21 points and nine rebounds per game since the first of March, and he is one of my favorite spends of the night, particularly in GPP settings.
Risk/Reward GPP Appeal
Fultz got 21 minutes of court time in the last game for the Sixers, and he could be starting tonight with Ben Simmons questionable. If Simmons is out, there is a ton of usage to go around on this team, and the Sixers are still trying to win in order to fend off Cleveland for the #3 seed. This team is rolling with 14 consecutive wins, and they might be wise to see what they have in Fultz before the playoffs. I wouldn’t touch him in cash games, but there is GPP potential here.
Elite Value Option
With the recent news from the Pacers of Oladipo, Young, and Bojan Bogdanovic sitting out tonight, Lance Stephenson should play around 30 minutes tonight. With those three guys off the floor this season, Stephenson has a 23.6% usage rate and he’s averaging .96 fantasy points per minute. That’s actually a usage decrease but a fantasy point per minute increase. At his price, he’s a top value play on this slate.
Victor Oladipo, Thaddeus Young, and Bojan Bogdanovic all ruled out Tuesday
The Indiana Pacers have the 5th seed in the East locked up, so the Pacers will rest Victor Oladipo, Thaddeus Young, and Bojan Bogdanovic tonight against the Hornets. The two biggest beneficiaries of this news are Lance Stephenson and Domantas Sabonis, both will be very popular tonight. Trevor Booker, Glenn Robinson III, T.J. Leaf, and Joe Young will also see an uptick in minutes tonight.
As reported by: Indiana Pacers via twitterBen Simmons questionable Tuesday
Ben Simmons is questionable Tuesday against the Hawks, with an illness. He didn’t participate in the 76ers shoot-around this morning. If Simmons can’t go tonight, T.J. McConnell and Markelle Fultz will split up the point guard duties.
As reported by: Molly Sullivan via twitterFull Tank Mode
We have so many tanking teams on tonight’s slate. I absolutely hate playing anyone from tanking teams, but figuring out who to play could be the difference of a bad night and good night. With at least half of the team out for Dallas, Powell is going to play minutes, and is my favorite value guy from this game. He’s played 27 and 35 minutes in the last two games with everyone out, and he’s put up 29 and 36 fantasy points. In this great matchup against the Suns, he should crush if he plays 27+ minutes.
People Don't Realize How High The Usage Is
I’ve been on the Malik Monk train for a week now, and I’m not going to stop because his price went up. Over the last five games Monk has played 26, 24, 24, 24, and 23 minutes. In that span, his usage rates per game are 34.9, 31.2, 32.7, 31.8, and 38.2. He’s averaging 1.26 fantasy points per minute in that five game span, and at 24 minutes, he still crushes value with his averages. He’s one of my favorite plays on the slate, and he has a massive ceiling if they give him extra minutes tonight.
