Wilson Chandler will play Tuesday.
Wilson Chandler will play tonight against the Pacers after missing the last game with a nose injury. Chandler isn’t a option tonight on a thirteen game slate. With Chandler playing this hurts the value of Torrey Craig.
As reported by: Clhris Dempsey via TwitterDorian Finney-Smith out Tuesday
The Mavericks will rest Dorian Finney-Smith on Tuesday against Portland, he will play on Wednesday. Not one player benefits from Smith being out, look for a host of players to fill the void.
As reported by: Bobby Karalla via TwitterKadeem Allen will start for Terry Rozier
Kadeem Allen will start for Terry Rozier tonight against the Bucks. Allen becomes an intriguing option on this slate. He’s a safe cash play, but might not have the upside in GPPs. He’s minimum price around the industry for tonight.
As reported by: Gary Washburn via twitterChris Paul will play Tuesday
No real surprise here, as he was upgraded to questionable about an hour ago. With Harden also playing, Paul doesn’t have a ton of DFS intrigue as it’s unlikely that he’ll be pushed heavy with the Rockets gearing up for a deep playoff run. Harden is absolutely still a viable high-end play but I’d give LeBron and Westbrook slight edges over him in both cash games and tournaments. There isn’t a whole lot of appeal on the Rockets bench with Paul, Harden and Capela all active.
As reported by: Craig AckermanJoe Harris will start for Allen Crabbe
Joe Harris will start for the sick Allen Crabbe. Harris is only a GPP value play for tonight. Harris starting does hurt the value of Caris LeVert.
As reported by: Brian Lewis via TwitterKyle Korver will play Tuesday
Kyle Korver will return tonight after missing the last seven games. He isn’t a recommended DFS target for tonight, he should see anywhere from 15-20 minutes tonight.
As reported by: Rick Noland via TwitterKevin Love will play Tuesday, Kyle Korver a game-time decision
Kevin Love will play tonight against the Raptors, he was questionable with an illness. With Love playing tonight, the value of Larry Nance Jr. and Jeff Green takes a hit. Love should only be considered for GPPs tonight. Kyle Korver is now questionable, after being probable earlier in the day.
As reported by: Cleveland Cavs via twitterAllen Crabbe ruled out Tuesday
Allen Crabbe won’t play tonight against the 76ers, with an illness. With Crabbe out of the lineup Joe Harris, Caris LeVert, and Spencer Dinwiddie will all see some extra minutes. Nik Stauskas also may enter the rotation tonight for the Nets.
As reported by: Mike Scotto via twitterMichael Beasley and Enes Kanter ruled out Tuesday
Enes Kanter will miss his second straight game Tuesday, with a back injury. With Kanter out, Kyle O“Quinn is one of the top value plays of the night. Last game, he started for Kanter and played 32 minutes. He finished with 31.5 FDP. The Orlando Magic rank 26th in defensive efficiency against centers. Luke Kornet will also see some extra run. Michael Beasley will miss tonight’s game with an illness. Courtney Lee, Lance Thomas, and Damyean Dotson will combine to fill Beasley’s void. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Trey Burke get a nice bump in usage without Beasley on the court.
As reported by: Al Iannazzone via twitter Other tagged players: Michael BeasleyChris Paul probable Tuesday, Trevor Ariza ruled out
Chris Paul has been upgraded from questionable to probable for tonight’s game against the Wizards. The Rockets will rest Trevor Ariza tonight. Look for a combination of Ryan Anderson, Gerald Green, Joe Johnson, and Luc Mbah a Moute to all see some extra minutes tonight.
As reported by: Tim MacMahon via twitter Other tagged players: Trevor ArizaTerry Rozier (ankle) and Shane Larkin (illness) ruled out Tuesday
Rozier previously confirmed with reporters during Monday’s practice that he would play in Tuesday’s matchup with Milwaukee Bucks, but he’s now been officially ruled out due to a sprained left ankle, joining Shane Larkin and Kyrie Irving among the other Boston Celtics inactives. Kadeem Allen and Jayson Tatum split the backup the backup point guard minutes in Saturday’s win, and they’ll likely be relied upon to handle a majority of the ballhandling responsibilities, while Al Horford could also slot in as a point-forward in unconventional lineup combinations. Allen or Marcus Morris should end up replacing Rozier in the starting lineup, depending on how comfortable head coach Brad Stevens is with Tatum handling the point guard duties. Unfortunately, there’s almost no sample size with the aforementioned players off the court together this season, but Tatum and Horford appear to be the main Celtics to target for all formats, while Morris, Jaylen Brown, or Greg Monroe could return value in tournament settings as well.
As reported by: the Boston Celtics via Twitter Other tagged players: Shane LarkinFinally Getting the Playing Time he Deserves
The Spurs aren’t going to make it far into the playoffs if Kawhi Leonard isn’t able to return, but that’s beside the point. Dejounte Murray is finally getting the minutes that he deserves. He’s arguably as talented offensively as Tony Parker and exponentially better on defense. Murray has played at least 28 minutes in five of his last seven games and draws a favorable matchup against the Clippers. The Spurs are fighting for homecourt advantage, so they will go all out over their last few games.
Targeting the Best Player in a Must-Win Situation
Nikola Jokic has been an auto-play for me over the last two weeks. The Nuggets are currently one game out of the playoffs in the West, so every game from here on out is a must win. Consequently, they have tightened their rotation and Jokic has seen 35+ minutes regularly. He has 50+ fantasy point upside every time he takes the floor and he draws an exploitable matchup against the Pacers, who don’t defend centers or rebound well.
Best Point Per Dollar Small Forward
The Thunder are still fighting for playoff positioning in the Western Conference. They could finish as high as fourth or even miss the playoffs altogether. They will go full out tonight against the Warriors at home. I’m expecting this game to turn into a shootout, even though the total isn’t as high as I was expecting. Paul George is significantly cheaper than the three elite small forwards (LeBron, Giannis, Durant), even though his floor and ceiling aren’t all that much lower.
Lonzo Ball (knee contusion) officially ruled out Tuesday
Ball has officially been ruled out for Tuesday’s matchup with the Utah Jazz after previously being listed as doubtful on the Los Angeles Lakers’ injury report with a left knee contusion that has now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Alex Caruso is still with the team and will more than likely draw the start at point guard once again after logging at least 29 minutes in each of the last two games, though he’s yet to flash much fantasy upside on either occasion. With Brandon Ingram still sidelined, Kyle Kuzma should continue to start at small forward, and he’s logged 39 minutes or more in all but one of the last six games, raising his floor and ceiling on a nightly basis for the duration of Ball’s absence.
