There's a "good chance" Klay Thompson plays tomorrow
Klay Thompson practiced today, and according to Steve Kerr there’s a “good chance” Thompson plays Saturday against Sacramento. With Thompson back in the lineup, he immediately becomes a fantasy option against the Kings. Assuming he plays a reasonable amount of minutes, Thompson is a great cash play tomorrow.
As reported by: TwitterDanilo Gallinari will play tonight against Portland
Gallinari is making his return tonight after missing 18 games with a hand injury. There is no news yet on if he will have a minute restriction. Assume he returns to the starting lineup, and plays a significant role tonight against the Blazers. Gallinari is averaging 15.9 points per game in what has been a short 19-game season for the eleven-year veteran.
Lonzo Ball ruled out for Friday; Josh Hart active, not expected to be on a minutes restriction
Ball has been ruled out for Friday’s game with the Bucks. With Hart active, it’s likely he helps fill the void left by Ball, but we’ll also see Brandon Ingram handle the ball more which spikes his DFS upside. Tyler Ennis should see some run with the second unit and it’s not totally out of the question that he starts, but given recent rotations it seems unlikely. Ingram’s price has fallen to $5,600 thanks to some missed time due to injury and if he’s able to step back into a full allotment of minutes tonight, he would offer a very solid ceiling.
As reported by: @Lakers Other tagged players: Josh HartDevin Booker, Alex Len and TJ Warren are out; Elfrid Payton and Jared Dudley questionable
Devin Booker (hand) has been ruled out for Friday’s game against Houston. TJ Warren (knee) and Alex Len (ankle) are also out. With three starters out of the lineup, there is a lot of value on the rest of the roster. Alan Williams played 19 minutes in place of Len two nights ago. Expect Williams to see at least 20 minutes tonight – he is a GPP play only. Josh Jackson is averaging 35 minutes in his past six games, scoring no less than 31 FanDuel points. Jackson is a lock in cash games, with GPP upside. Elfrid Payton (knee) and Jared Dudley (ankle) are both questionable.

Jawun Evans (abdominal) is out Friday. With Milos Teodosic (foot) also out against Portland tonight, look for Sindarius Thornwell to see an increase in minutes. Thornwell is averaging 20 minutes in his past three games.
As reported by: RotowireJonathon Simmons has been ruled out
Jonathon Simmons (wrist) will not play on Friday night against Chicago. With Simmons out, expect Mario Hezonja to play over 30 minutes.
As reported by: NBA.comJonathan Isaac (ankle) and Wesley Iwundu (illness) available to play Friday
Isaac has been cleared to return from his most recent three-game absence due to a strained left foot and will play in Friday’s matchup with the Chicago Bulls, however, according to head coach Frank Vogel, will be limited to around 20 minutes no matter if he starts or comes off the bench. Wesley Iwundu is also available to play following a one-game absence, and he should continue starting at the shooting guard spot with Jonathon Simmons, who remains doubtful, likely still sidelined. Even though he may start, Iwundu’s playing time has been all over the place of late, and it’s been Shelvin Mack that’s logged at least 27 minutes in each of the last two games, making him the preferred option over whoever starts at the shooting guard position. On top of that, Mack, Isaac, D.J. Augustin, and Nikola Vucevic all own at least a +4.0% usage rate differential with the aforementioned players off the court this season, while Vucevic also leads the ways in terms of production with a rate of 1.32 fantasy points per minute on DraftKings and FanDuel in this scenario.
As reported by: Orlando Magic PR via Twitter Other tagged players: Wes IwunduAmir Johnson (flu-like symptoms) will start Friday
Johnson is set to return from a one-game absence due to flu-like symptoms and will start in Friday’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks, replacing the injured Joel Embiid, who is scheduled to undergo surgery on the left orbital fracture he sustained during Wednesday’s win in the coming days. There’s yet to be an official timetable for his return provided by the Philadelphia 76ers medical staff, but he appears on track to be sidelined for at least a couple weeks, at best, which will enable Johnson and Richaun Holmes to absorb a majority of the available center minutes. Head coach Brett Brown is also liable to utilize Dario Saric at center in certain small-ball lineup combinations, further adding to his appeal since Saric has been the clear beneficiary with Embiid off the court this season, owning a +5.7% usage rate differential while averaging 1.13 fantasy points per minute on DraftKings and 1.07 on FanDuel in this scenario.
As reported by: Jessica Camerato via TwitterLonzo Ball is listed as questionable
Ball (leg) is questionable for Friday’s game against Milwaukee. Ball described it as a “bruise on the back of” his leg. Regarding the injury, Ball said he “wasn’t worried about it.”

Smith (illness) is questionable Friday against New Orleans.
As reported by: rotowireRajon Rondo is listed as questionable
Rondo (right wrist), is questionable for Friday’s game against New Orleans. Rondo will test his wrist pregame to determine if he can play.
As reported by: nola.comKevin Love is listed as questionable
Kevin Love (concussion) is questionable against New Orleans tonight. Love participated in this morning’s shootaround.
As reported by: cleveland.comJoel Embiid has been ruled out
Embiid has been ruled out indefinitely, with a concussion and an orbital fracture of his left eye. Embiid is expected to miss significant time, which will give more opportunities to other players. Richaun Holmes should play starter minutes tonight against Atlanta, and if Amir Johnson (illness) is declared out, more minutes will open up for Ilyasova and Saric at the 5. Brett Brown can play around with the rotation tonight with Embiid out – look for him to play a lot of small ball, and continue to push the tempo against Atlanta’s horrendous roster.
As reported by: TwitterTop Stack of the Night
The Hawks and Sixers are both playing short-handed tonight and the game projects as the third-fastest of the slate. This game has shootout potential and I plan to get as much exposure to it as possible. Damion Lee is coming off of an excellent outing and could see upwards of 30 minutes as the starting shooting guard. He’s cheap across the industry and shouldn’t garner a ton of ownership.
