Taj Gibson, Andre Roberson, and Doug McDermott all OUT for Thunder tonight
Plenty of playing time up for grabs on Oklahoma City as they prepare for the playoffs by resting ailing and veteran players. Kyle Singler, Jerami Grant, and Domantas Sabonis are all viable DFS options on this small five game slate (along with the previously mentioned Victor Oladipo and Semaj Christon with Westbrook out).

Russell Westbrook OUT tonight for Thunder (rest)
With their playoff spot locked up, the last two games for the Thunder have no meaning so it makes sense to rest their superstar MVP candidate heading into the post season. Victor Oladipo is the biggest beneficiary in terms of usage while Semaj Christon is the probable starter at point guard and also worth a shot in DFS tonight.

The two Knicks stars will sit out the team finale. Justin Holiday, Mindaugas Kuzminskas, and Willy Hernangomez should all thrive with these three off the court.

Faried and Nelson will sit out the final two games for the Nuggets this season and Barton is likely to do the same. Gallo is out for sure for tonight’s game but his fate for the season finale is undecided. With these four out tonight it’ll be up to the likes of Jamal Murray, Gary Harris, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Wilson Chandler to shoulder the load. Perhaps the most intriguing DFS options though will be Juancho Hernangomez and Malik Beasley as Nuggets Head Coach Mike Malone hinted that they’ll be getting additional run today.

Curry had been ruled out for the remainder of the season so his absence is not a surprise. The remainder of the team will be available to play although it would not be surprising to see veterans like Dirk Nowitzki play limited minutes.

Capela will be rested and won’t play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, while Patrick Beverley has also been ruled out with a shoulder issue. Neither player appeared on the Rockets’ injury report at any point throughout the day, so their unavailability certainly comes as a surprise. With Nene already ruled out, Chinanu Onuaku will surprisingly draw the start at center and Eric Gordon will almost assuredly start alongside James Harden in the backcourt with Lou Williams also unavailable. Even though Onuaku received the starting nod, Montrezl Harrell should remain the preferred big man to target in the Houston frontcourt, as Harrell will likely see at least minutes in the upper-20s, which puts him firmly in play as a punt play in all formats on the late slate. Onuaku is the only other remaining center on Houston’s active roster and is unlikely to see significant minutes, despite starting, raising Harrell’s minute floor substantially.

Hill will play in tonight’s game against the Golden State Warriors after previously being listed as questionable on the Jazz’s injury report with a strained right groin that had forced him to miss six consecutive games. Jazz head coach Quin Snyder has already made it clear that Hill will not play more than 20 minutes in tonight’s contest. If Hill reclaims his normal spot in the starting lineup, Dante Exum would be sent back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Exum, Raul Neto, and possibly even Shelvin Mack will soak up and likely split the remaining minutes at point guard, making them and Hill virtually unplayable in any format. Instead, Jazz exposure should be focused on the remaining starters like Gordon Hayward and Rudy Gobert.

Green will play in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, as expected, after previously not even being listed on the Spurs’ injury report with a left quad contusion that had forced him to miss five consecutive games. Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich has already made it clear that no players will rest in the final two games of the season, as he is unhappy with their readiness heading into the playoffs. The Spurs starters still carry some risk given the likely blowout against a Trail Blazers squad that are resting several players, including star guards Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. The matchup is certainly there for LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard to exceed salary-based expectations, but the fact that they may not see their full allotment of minutes reserves the aforementioned duo to tournament exposure only on Monday’s slate.

Fournier will play and start in tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic’s injury report with a strained left calf that had forced him to miss one game. His return to the starting lineup will send Jodie Meeks back to the bench to resume his normal reserve role. Magic head coach Frank Vogel has already gone on record saying that he will treat this game as normal, despite long being eliminated from playoff contention. This means it should be expected for the Magic starters to see their normal allotment of playing time in tonight’s contest. This removes Meeks, Marcus Georges-Hunt, and Patricio Garino from consideration in all formats even though they each saw substantial playing time in the Magic’s last game.
As reported by: Sean Highkin Marco Belinelli (finger) ruled OUT for Hornets
Belinelli will not play in tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after previously being listed as questionable on the Hornets’ injury report with a strained left index finger. With Kemba Walker and Ramon Sessions both unavailable as well, third-string point guard, Brian Roberts, will receive the starting nod point guard in the absences. There isn’t a significant sample with the aforementioned trio off the court together this season, as Walker has only missed one prior game, but Roberts and Nicolas Batum will likely be popular plays and should be able to provide significant value relative to their price tags across the industry.

John Wall (quad) and Otto Porter (back) ruled OUT; Brandon Jennings and Kelly Oubre Jr. to start in their place
Wall and Porter will not play in tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as questionable on the Wizards’ injury report with their respective ailments. In their absences, Brandon Jennings and Kelly Oubre will draw the starts at point guard and small forward respectively. The remaining starters, Bradley Beal, Markieff Morris, and Marcin Gortat, will all be limited to 30 minutes of in action in tonight’s contest. With Wall and Porter off the court since the All-Star break, Bojan Bogdanovic leads the Wizards with a 31.0% usage rate that is a 7.4% increase over his normal usage with the aforementioned duo on the floor. Bogdanovic and Jennings look to be the primary Wizards to target with the Beal, Morris, and Gortat all having their minutes monitored on Monday.

Brogdon will play and start in tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets after previously missing five consecutive games with a sore back. He’ll have a minute restriction of 25-30 minutes in tonight’s contest, which is just slightly lower than his normal minute allotment. Additionally, Spencer Hawes has been ruled out for rest purposes but has consistently been seeing minimal playing time, so his absence does not do much to alter the Bucks frontcourt rotation. All of Hawes’ minutes will likely be siphoned to John Henson, who is expected to play 20-25 minutes this evening, putting him in play as a punt option in tournaments. However, there is a plethora of value already available on this slate, so individual lineup construction should dictate which value plays round out tournament options on Monday’s slate.

Ellenson will be reinserted into the Pistons starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards, which will presumably send Jon Leuer to the bench to resume a reserve role, though there has yet to be any official confirmation from the team. The Pistons are officially in full tank mode and have been playing their reserves extended minutes the last few games. Ellenson has averaged 26 minutes of action over the last two games and exceeded salary-based expectations in both instances, so he is more than viable as a punt option in tournaments on Monday’s slate.
As reported by: Rod Beard Sean Kilpatrick (hamstring) and Quincy Acy (ankle) both ruled OUT for tonight and Wednesday
Kilpatrick and Acy are done for the season, which opens up extra minutes for Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Caris LeVert in their final two games. RHJ has been limited to 25 minutes or so each night, despite playing excellent basketball as of late. After Acy’s ankle limited him to eight minutes last game, he finally got to 30 and he killed it: 16 points, 12 rebounds, three assists, three steals, and a block. Over the past ten games, RHJ’s usage has ticked up 1.2% while his per-minute fantasy production has increased 22.2% to 1.1 FD ppm. He’s a great value option tonight. LeVert saw his minutes reach 25 without Kilpatrick in the lineup and he scored a team-high 19 points in their last game. He’s another potential value option, but his lack of minutes caps his upside, as with most Nets.
