Malcolm Brogdon OUT for Milwaukee tonight
The Bucks have ruled out Brogdon for their game tonight against the Pistons with a reoccurring back injury that caused him to miss time earlier this month. Matthew Dellavedova will be the likely starter with Jason Terry backing him up. Delly has some upside as a value DFS option especially facing a Pistons team that is somewhat vulnerable to point guards (20th in DvP).

Gerald Henderson and Tiago Splitter both probable for 76ers tonight
Neither player should log significant playing time and are not viable DFS options. They will take a few minutes, however, from the likes of Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Nik Stauskas though so give them a slight downgrade.

Two key components of the Grizzlies frontcourt have been ruled out for their game tonight against the Mavericks. The duo also missed the team’s last game and it was James Ennis and Brandon Wright who started in their place that game. Both are viable value options but they have limited upside, especially in a game that will be slow-paced and has the lowest total on the board. Chandler Parsons continues to remain out while Andrew Harrison was downgraded to questionable but appears unlikely to play.

Knicks Head Coach Jeff Hornacek stated his two veteran stars will test their injuries during shootaround and see how they feel before making a decision as to whether they would play or not. If Rose can’t go, Ron Baker would be the likely starter but he only put up a measly six points, five rebounds, and three assists in 40 minutes of playing time so he’s not a high upside option. Mindaugas Kuzminskas is the probable starter if Anthony can’t play and has some value as a DFS value option but the biggest beneficiary would be Kristaps Porzingis who should be expected to shoulder the load if either, or both, Anthony or Rose sit.

Both Plumlee and Barton are expected to play tonight after being listed as questionable. However, the two have seen their playing time reduced significantly of late and are not viable DFS options. Darrell Arthur has been ruled out again for the team – his impact is also minimal.

Hill will miss his second straight game for the Jazz with Favors and Neto joining him on the sidelines. Dante Exum and Shelvin Mack will split the point guard minutes with Mack the much preferred option of the two. Neither are particularly attractive though on such a large Friday night slate.

Mejri missed the teams last game and is questionable for their game tonight against the Grizzlies. He hasn’t seen significant playing time of late and is not a viable DFS option. His playing also has limited impact on the rest of the team and their roles.

Booker will play and start in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers after previously being considered a game-time decision with a sore right ankle that had forced him to miss one game. The return of Booker to the starting lineup will send Derrick Jones Jr. back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Additionally, Leandro Barbosa has officially been ruled out with a right hamstring injury that has now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Booker should be expected to be a full-go and see his normal allotment of minutes in tonight’s contest, as there were rumors prior to Tuesday’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks that he was just being rested by the Phoenix coaching staff and the ankle soreness was not considered to be serious. Booker will likely carry significantly reduced ownership on the late slate given the uncertainty surrounding his “injury”, making him an appealing tournament target at a typically shallow shooting guard position.

Austin Rivers (strained hamstring) likely to miss remainder of regular season
Rivers is out definitely due to a hamstring injury he sustained in Wednesday’s win over the Washington Wizards and is likely to miss the remainder of the regular season, according to Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, as he stated that Rivers’ hamstring strain is a “pretty good one” and he is hopeful to have him available come playoff time. The extended absence of Rivers will open up more playing time on the wings for J.J. Redick and Jamal Crawford, while Raymond Felton is now the only true point guard remaining on the active roster for now. The minute allotments of the aforementioned players will be key to monitor as the regular season winds down considering they could each provide significant value depending on the matchup.

Booker and Barbosa are both officially considered to be game-time decisions for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers after previously being listed as questionable in the Suns’ game notes with their respective ailments. There has yet to be any further updates from the team, as Suns head coach Earl Watson responded to reporters’ questions by stating that “he did not know” about Booker’s availability for tonight’s contest. The unavailability of Booker and Barbosa would open up playing time for Derrick Jones Jr. and Jared Dudley on the wing, as Ronnie Price returned in the prior game and played just 14 minutes. However, if forced to bet on whether Booker suits up or not, most signs point to him returning after a one-game absence considering that there were rumors prior to Tuesday’s matchup with Atlanta that Booker was just being rested and the ankle soreness is not considered serious.

Payne has officially been announced as inactive for tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after making a brief two-minute appearance in Sunday’s contest. Payne has been out of the rotation for a significant stretch of time now, so his unavailability will not affect the Bulls backcourt rotation in any way.

Reggie Bullock (right foot sprain) ruled out for tonight
Bullock will miss his third consecutive game due to a foot sprain but he was never really a DFS option for tonight. His absence does not change the rotation at all and the Pistons will run their main guys out there a majority of the minutes as they fight for a spot in the playoffs.

Jefferson will not play in tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls after previously missing Wednesday’s practice with tendinitis in his left knee. The absence of Jefferson from the Cavaliers rotation will likely open the door for some extra playing time for Derrick Williams with Kyle Korver also unavailable, although Iman Shumpert has already been announced as available to play in tonight’s contest after missing two consecutive games with a sore right knee. Jefferson had been consistently seeing minutes in the low-20s, but he was never a viable fantasy option to begin with and his absence does little to alter the projected fantasy value of any of the Cleveland wing rotation pieces.

Felicio is officially available to play in tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after previously being considered questionable with a lower back contusion that had forced him to miss three consecutive games. His return to the rotation will displace Joffrey Lauvergne from the backup center role and essentially remove him from the frontcourt rotation nearly entirely. However, there is a strong possibility that Felicio, Lauvergne, and Robin Lopez continue sharing the available center minutes, which makes all three virtually unplayable in any format. If targeting a player from the Bulls frontcourt, Nikola Mirotic has seen a recent uptick in minutes in recent games and has firmly established himself ahead of reserve power forward Bobby Portis.
As reported by: Cody Westerlund Reggie Jackson inactive once again for tonight's game against the Nets
Reggie Jackson has been listed as inactive for another game. The Pistons are running out Ish Smith 30+ minutes and using Beno Udrih as his backup. Smith will be a high-floor option against the Brooklyn Nets tonight and should be able to exceed value in a pace up game. Udrih has seen his playing time increase over the last four games but still has not played over 20 minutes. He’ll likely continue to remain limited and does not provide a ton of upside. He’s still only $3k on DraftKings, so there is some tournament viability if you need a minimum priced guy to fill your utility spot over on DK. Jon Leuer will continue to start at PF but Tobias Harris is playing well off the bench.
