Kyle Korver and Richard Jefferson continue to be out for the Cavs
Kyle Korver and Richard Jefferson will once again be out due to their respective injuries. Korver has missed nine of the last twelve games due to a sore foot. Richard Jefferson is dealing with a knee injury, but this will only been his second absence. J.R. Smith logged 38 minutes last night with both players out and Iman Shumpert was used as his backup. LeBron James also played 39 minutes with no real small forward depth on the team behind him. Both Smith and James will be elite options against the Sixers tonight.

Will Barton (foot) officially ruled out for tonight
Barton will not play in tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets after previously being downgraded to doubtful on the Nuggets’ injury report with a sore left foot. The absence of Barton will likely open up some additional usage on the second unit for the likes of Jamal Murray and Mason Plumlee, though when Denver is at close to full strength, there is not a significant amount of extra minutes available that need to be deferred to primary rotation players. The primary Nuggets to target are still Nikola Jokic and Gary Harris, as their minute floors remain the most stable of the bunch, but Plumlee does see a significant +4.2% with Barton and Darrell Arthur off the court since the All-Star break, putting him into consideration as a speculative tournament play on sites that allow you to roster more than one center.

Dunleavy has officially been listed as probable for tomorrow’s game against the Chicago Bulls with a sore right ankle that forced him to miss the Hawks’ previous game. Additionally, it has already been confirmed that Paul Millsap and Thabo Sefolosha will remain sidelined for Saturday’s contest. The presumed availability of Dunleavy will add to Atlanta’s depth on the wing, possibly making players like Taurean Prince and Tim Hardaway Jr. less viable at their currently inflated price tags with Kent Bazemore back from his injury as well.

Acy will not play in tomorrow’s game against the Orlando Magic due to a sore left ankle that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Additionally, Joe Harris will remain sidelined with a sprained left shoulder. Acy has consistently been seeing minutes in the low 20s at power forward and center, so his absence does create a noticeable void in the Nets frontcourt rotation. Justin Hamilton was the primary beneficiary of Acy’s absence in the Nets previous game, but there is no guarantee for that to continue given Brooklyn’s fickle rotations. Fortunately, neither Hamilton or Andrew Nicholson should be relevant for daily formats on Saturday anyway.

Brandon Ingram has missed the last three games due to a knee issue and was able to participate in practice today. The Lakers are listing Ingram as probable plays tomorrow and if Ingram does play, he’ll be on a minutes restriction but will likely start. Corey Brewer will go back to the bench if Ingram starts and both players are not viable options for Saturday’s game against the Clippers.

Zubac suffered a high ankle sprain in last night’s loss to the Timberwolves. Tarik Black could take over the starting center role and Thomas Robinson would be used as his backup. Black does not possess elite upside and this injury could open the door for Larry Nance to start in the near future. Luke Walton has mentioned that he would like to get Nance some reps as a starter and this is setting up in his favor. Considering Saturday’s game is against the Clippers, it’s more likely that we see Tarik Black start the game.

Beasley will be available to return to play tonight after missing 17 games with a knee injury. It’s uncertain what his role will be so he’s not a viable option tonight but he could be worth keeping an eye on for future matchups.

Will Barton downgraded to doubtful for Nuggets tonight
Upgrading our previous report, Barton has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful. The impact is minimal but it should lead to a few more minutes of playing time for Gary Harris and Jamal Murray.

Status quo for the Hawks as this pair will miss another game. This will be Sefolosha’s fourth straight missed game leading to another starting opportunity for Taurean Prince who has thrived in this role in his absence. Ersan Ilyasova will continue to be the biggest benefactor of Millsap’s injury.

Updating our previous report listing Mejri as questionable, it appears as if he will take the court tonight for the Mavericks. His role has diminished the second half of the season and he is not a viable DFS option.

The Kings have ruled out back up point guard Ty Lawson for their game tonight against New Orleans. Darren Collison. Langston Galloway, and Tyreke Evans should all see some additional playing time but no one receives a boost large enough to thrust them into “must play” territory.

Koufos and Afflalo will sit out their second straight game while the veteran Tolliver will get another day off for rest purposes. Skal Labissiere benefits the most form his absence and is a viable value option in DFS tonight.

The Magic forward is dealing with a shoulder injury that has made him a game-time decision for their game tonight. Mario Hezonja and/or Bismack Biyombo would benefit the most if Gordon sits with Biyombo the better option due to Hezonja’s limited upside. We’ll update you later today when we learn more of Gordon’s status.

He’s missed the last four games and will miss at least the next two for the Magic. Mario Hezonja has picked up additional playing time but has struggled and is not a viable DFS option currently.

He’s averaged slightly under 20 minutes a game of late so he’s not a viable DFS option regardless but if for some reason he is unable to go it would mean a few more minutes for Steven Adams and Enes Kanter.
