Rodney Hood (knee) expected to play against Indiana tonight
Hood is expected to play in tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers barring a setback after previously being listed as questionable on the Jazz’s injury report with a sore right knee that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. There has yet to be any official confirmation on whether Hood will start or be subject to a minute restriction, but Utah will likely bring him along slowly, as they are really starting to gear up for a potential playoff run. His possible return to the rotation does hinder the projected fantasy value of Joe Ingles and Joe Johnson, but if Hood only sees 20 minutes or so of playing time, Ingles could provide enough value as a salary saving option at a weak small forward position on FanDuel to become viable.

Isaiah Thomas (bruised knee) confirmed as playing tonight
Thomas will play and start in tonight’s game against the Washington Wizards after previously being listed as probable on the Celtics’ injury report with a bone bruise in his right knee that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. His return to the lineup will send Marcus Smart back to the bench to resume a reserve role. Thomas does not have any minutes restriction and scored 50 fantasy points in both prior meetings with the Wizards. Avery Bradley was unavailable for those games, which means Thomas’ chances of hitting 50 fantasy points again tonight are slightly lowered. Thomas’ salary has also fallen all the way down to $8.2k on DraftKings and will likely come in at lower than normal ownership after missing consecutive games. He should still be able to hit his salary-based expectations and is an elite GPP option due to the potential upside.

Okafor will not play in tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic after previously being considered questionable with a sore right knee that he reaggravated in Sunday’s win over the Boston Celtics, while Gerald Henderson will be rested on the second leg of a back-back set and third game in four nights for Philadelphia. Richaun Holmes will draw the start at center in Okafor’s place Additionally, Justin Anderson will be available to play off the bench despite previously being listed as doubtful on the Sixers’ injury report with an illness that had forced him to miss one game. Holmes was already in play on Monday’s slate but now becomes an elite option as the primary center available in the Sixers rotation. The only other center on the Sixers active roster is Shawn Long, who is highly unlikely to see more than 20 minutes playing time.

Vucevic will play and start in tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic’s injury report with a sore right Achilles that forced him to miss Sunday’s practice. Additionally, his availability in the starting lineup removes Bismack Biyombo from daily fantasy consideration entirely. The Sixers have really struggled to defend the interior since Joel Embiid has been sidelined, which is reflected in their rank of 30th in DvP against opposing centers, so Vucevic is shaping up to be a fantastic tournament option after carrying an injury designation on all of the daily fantasy sites across the industry.

Jeremy Lin sprained his ankle last night and is considered doubtful Tuesday’s game. Spencer Dinwiddie started for Lin in the second half and will likely start once again on Tuesday. Dinwiddie should be considered an elite punt option after he scored over 30 fantasy points against the Mavs last night. Joe Harris and Sean Kilpatrick have continued to be out and there is no timetable for their return. Brook Lopez is the only other Nets player that is consistent enough to warrant a roster spot on your lineups.

Nick Young missed last night’s game due to an illness and D’Angelo Russell replaced him in the starting lineup. Russell went on to become the youngest player in franchise history to score over 40 actual points. Considering how well Russell played, we’ll have to expect he’s sticking in the starting lineup. Nick Young will not be a viable DFS option off the bench and should be ignored. Tyler Ennis injured his shoulder in practice and will be examined again tomorrow. His status for Tuesday’s game is unclear but he was not in play anyways.

Chandler will miss his fourth straight game while Gallo is sitting out his third game in a row. Both are hoping to return on Wednesday but have been ruled out tonight. The biggest beneficiaries of these two sitting are Jamal Murray, Will Barton, and Juancho Hernangomez. All three are worth consideration in a game against Houston that has a massive total topping 235 points.

Black will officially be available to play off the bench in tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after previously being listed as questionable on the Lakers’ injury report with an illness that had forced him to miss one game. There was no minute restriction reported for Black, but he will likely resume his normal reserve role behind Ivica Zubac at center, which will almost assuredly push Thomas Robinson out of the rotation entirely. The Cavaliers are heavy favorites in this matchup, so all of the Lakers players carry more risk than normal, but both Zubac and Julius Randle are viable tournament options since they will be key cogs for the Lakers, along with Jordan Clarkson and D’Angelo Russell, if they are able to keep the score somewhat respectable throughout.

Young will not play in tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers due to an illness despite never appearing on the Lakers; injury report at any point throughout the day. Lakers head coach Luke Walton confirmed that D’Angelo Russell would receive the starting nod at shooting guard alongside Jordan Clarkson for the first time this season. This news isn’t all that surprising, as Walton has stated several times over the past couple weeks that he wants to get Russell and Clarkson on the floor together more often. Irving, James, and Love will all play in tonight’s game against Los Angeles Lakers after being rested for Saturday’s loss against the Los Angeles Clippers. According to Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue, the idea was to rest both LeBron and Love yesterday, but Irving was actually dealing with tightness in his left knee. The big three will all return to the starting lineup for Sunday’s contest, which will send Deron Williams, J.R. Smith, and Channing Frye back to the bench to resume their reserve roles. This matchup with the Lakers is projected to be a blowout in the Cavaliers’ favor, so the big three are far from safe cash game options, though LeBron and Irving could be viable tournament targets if the game can stay somewhat respectable. However, Love is likely to have his minutes restricted, especially if this contest gets out of hand early.
