Ronnie Price (leg) ruled out
Ronnie Price has been ruled out of tonight’s contest due to an injured leg. He was considered doubtful for tonight’s game and did not have any DFS relevance to begin with. Tyler Ulis will play all the minutes he can handle with Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight shut down for the season.

Devin Booker (ankle) returns to the starting lineup; Derrick Jones Jr. goes to the bench
Booker will play and start in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after previously being listed as probable on the Suns’ injury report with a sore right ankle that had forced him to miss one game. His return to the starting lineup will send Derrick Jones Jr. back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Additionally, Ronnie Price will remain sidelined with a left leg contusion after previously being designated as doubtful. Booker and Tyler Ulis will continue to handle a majority of the workload in the backcourt with Eric Bledsoe and Brandon Knight officially shut down for the remainder of the season. In fact, both guards have seen at least 38 minutes of action in each game since Bledsoe and Knight were shut down. Assuming Booker is a full-go, which there hasn’t been any hint from the Suns that he won’t be, he and Ulis are elite options on Tuesday’s slate given their massive minute floors.

Per Ira Winderman, Josh Richardson will start on Tuesday against the Suns in place of Dion Waiters. Another Heat beat reporter – Manny Navarro – had very recently stated that things may change on that front, but at this point it appears that Richardson is going to get the nod at SG. The Heat in general are an appealing team target against a Suns team that ranks 3rd in pace and 26th in defensive efficiency, and Richardson is now a viable target alongside Goran Dragic, Hassan Whiteside, and also James Johnson/Tyler Johnson in GPPs.

Josh Richardson likely to stick in starting lineup for Dion Waiters, but still may change
Heat beat Manny Navarro is reporting that the plan for now is for Josh Richardson to remain the starter for Dion Waiters, but he also noted that things may change. We’ll continue to update the situation as lineup lock approaches – if Richardson remains the starter, he’ll become a viable punt play against a porous Suns defense.

Lin will not play in tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as doubtful on the Nets’ injury report with a sprained right ankle. In his absence, Spencer Dinwiddie is expected to draw the start at point guard and shoulder most of the playmaking duties with Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris still sidelined with their respective injuries. None of the Brooklyn starters see a significant usage bump with the aforementioned trio off the court this season, but the Nets will be relatively thin in the backcourt and on the wings, so Dinwiddie and Randy Foye should approach 30 minutes of action in tonight’s contest. However, given the deep Brooklyn rotation, those minutes are far from secure, and Brook Lopez is likely the only other Nets player that will eclipse the 25-minute mark this evening.

Mike Dunleavy was active for last night’s game but did not see the court. With Paul Millsap and Kent Bazemore injured for a while, it’s likely that Dunleavy works his way back into the rotation. Taurean Prince was the chalk punt option last night and let everyone down because Thabo Sefolosha ended up being the correct play. Look for Sefolosha to remain an important part of the rotation and carry a more stable floor than Prince since he’s in the starting lineup. Tim Hardaway Jr. also did not play well last night but did log 33 minutes. Expect THJ to continue playing major minutes with Bazemore out of the lineup

Danilo Gallinari is listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game due to a bruised knee. Juancho Hernangomez has been starting in place and has seen his minutes increase for three straight games. He’s been producing at a decent clip and will likely play nearly 28-32 minutes against Cleveland. Wilson Chandler and Darrell Arthur are also being listed questionable and the upside of Hernangomez is limited if Chandler is in the lineup. Look for another update after tomorrow’s shootaround.

Kyle Korver was able to participate in an entire practice today. The team will wait until tomorrow to provide an official update. Korver is firmly behind J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert and is not a DFS option unless players are resting or injured. Look for another update regarding Korver after tomorrow’s shootaround.

Tony Allen OUT for Memphis tonight; Chandler Parsons remains out
Allen will not play tonight with a minor knee injury. Expect James Ennis to get the nod as the starter but he’ll split time with Andrew Harrison and Troy Daniels – none are attractive DFS options. Chandler Parsons remains out for the Grizzlies.

The veteran forward will miss the Warriors game against Dallas tonight with what is listed as a hip strain. It could just be a nagging injury giving reason to rest Iggy on the second half of a back-to-back but we’ll continue to monitor his status in the coming days. Patrick McCaw and Matt Barnes will both benefit with this news but both are risky DFS options probably best avoided.

Rodney Hood will start against the Pacers tonight. Hood has missed the last two games due to knee soreness and has been dealing with the issue all season long. Joe Ingles will return to the bench and is a low-end option. Hood could easily get injured again, but Ingles’ risk increases in this role and it might be difficult for him to hit his salary-based expectations.

Morris will play and start in tonight’s game against the Boston Celtics after previously being listed as probable on the Wizards’ injury report with an illness that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. His return to the lineup will send Jason Smith back to the bench to resume a reserve role and removes him from daily fantasy consideration entirely for Monday’s slate. Morris has really struggled ever since Bojan Bogdanovic was acquired from the Brooklyn Nets at the trade deadline, so even in a good matchup on paper against the Boston frontcourt defense, he is nothing more than a secondary tournament option.

Dunleavy is listed as active on the Hawks roster for tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets despite being ruled out earlier in the day. Dunleavy is still without a definitive timetable for his return from right ankle synovitis and is highly unlikely to play. However, this is a sign that he could be nearing a return from injury.
