Daniels will play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after being listed as questionable on the Grizzlies injury report with a left groin injury. The Grizzlies are extremely shorthanded already with Chandler Parsons, Zach Randolph, James Ennis, and Brandan Wright already ruled out, so Daniels is expected to start his third consecutive game at small forward. His presence in the lineup make Troy Williams and Wade Baldwin nothing more than tournament dart throws, especially with Mike Conley and Marc Gasol likely to play their normal allotment of minutes this evening.

Conley and Gasol are expected to play near their normal amount of minutes in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after Friday night’s news fiasco. Conley is in a prime spot against the Dragic-less Heat perimeter defense, and leads the Grizzlies with an elite 32.9% usage rate with Chandler Parsons, James Ennis, and Zach Randolph off the court this season.That’s a substantial 4.2% increase over his season average and has led to him averaging 1.39 DraftKings and 1.29 FanDuel points per minute in their absence. With Gasol dealing Hassan Whiteside on both ends of the court, look for Conley to carry the offensive load this evening.

Richardson looks to be in the best spot of them all, however, as he is second on the Heat with a 27.7% usage rate with the aforementioned players off the court this season, which is a significant 5.5% increase over his season average. All four of the Heat guards are viable options, but Richardson is clearly the top target.

The Spurs frontcourt reserves are never a situation we want to proactively target unless Pau Gasol and/or LaMarcus Aldridge are ruled out.

Embiid will play in Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers and remain on his normal restriction of 24 minutes. With the Sixers beginning a brutal stretch of five games in seven nights tomorrow, Embiid has already been ruled out in advance of Monday’s contest for rest. Nothing has been officially confirmed, but Embiid will likely be rested for an additional game during this stretch, as he remains on a maintenance program that limits how many games he can play in a given period. Jahlil Okafor will continue to start at center in games where Embiid is rested and remains a viable option in these instances while is price is depressed. As for Bayless, he has been listed on the Sixers’ injury report with a sore left wrist but is fully expected to play. If for some reason he is unable to go, look for Sergio Rodriguez to be reinserted into the starting lineup at point guard.
