Green will not play in tonight’s game against the Milwuakee Bucks with a sore back. Aaron Gordon will likely draw the start at small forward in place of Green, while Mario Hezonja could find his way into the Magic rotation as well. However, C.J. Watson (questionable) would need to be ruled out in order for Hezonja to secure a solid minute workload. Surprisingly, Hezonja has been the biggest beneficiary with Green off the court this season, as he owns a 33.5% usage rate that is 4.7% higher than his season average. The sample size isn’t enormous, but Hezonja could end up being a sneaky tournament punt this evening, if Watson is ultimately ruled out.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (ankle) ruled out tonight; Sean Kilpatrick will start
Hollis-Jefferson will not play in tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings. He will miss his second consecutive game with an ankle injury, and Kilpatrick will draw the start in his place once again. Kilpatrick is the obvious beneficiary of Hollis-Jefferson’s absence, as he is second on the Nets (behind Brook Lopez) with a 29.3% usage rate without Hollis-Jefferson on the court this season. He has converted this sustained usage into solid fantasy point per minute production, and should be a safe bet for 28-32 minutes this evening. Meaning, Kilpatrick is a high-floor, moderate ceiling option that can be used in all formats.

Henson will be reinserted into the starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Orlando Magic, sending Miles Plumlee back to the bench in a reserve role. Bucks coach Jason Kidd just continues with his starting center carousel, deciding to roll with Henson over Plumlee in this contest, though neither big men are viable options this evening. There’s not point in trying to figure out Jason Kidd’s rotation with all the other value opening up on this slate. Let others chase Henson and move on.

Tucker will be inserted into the starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets, sending Brandon Knight to the bench to resume his former reserve role. It’s unclear if this is a purely matchup-based lineup decision by Mike Malone or if it will be the norm going forward while T.J. Warren is sidelined with an injury. Tucker is certainly worth a look in tournaments on the early slate in a great matchup with this sub par Denver defense.

There are currently conflicting reports from Denver beat writers and the Nuggets PR department on the availability of Hernangomez for tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns. Even if Hernangomez is active, it’s unlikely he plays a large role coming off an ankle injury, if he plays at all. We will continue to provide updates until the game’s lock time if and when they become available, but Wilson Chandler and Jamal Murray are still the Nuggets to own in all formats.

Gallinari, Barton, Hernangomez, and Mike Miller will not play in tonight’s game against the Phoenix Suns. This will be the third consecutive game Gallianri will be sidelined with a right thigh injury. Wilson Chandler and Jameer Nelson started at small forward and shooting guard in the Nuggets previous game with the exact same injury scenario, so they will likely remain in the starting lineup for this contest. Chandler and Jamal Murray will continue to be the optimal targets on this Denver squad for all formats while the trio of Gallinari, Barton, and Hernangomez are inactive, as they have continued to crush value with their increased opportunity.

Dudley will not play in tonight’s game against the Denver Nuggets with a left foot injury. Suns coach Earl Watson stated that he expects Dragan Bender to see more playing time with Dudley sidelined. However, Bender has fared much worse with Dudley off the court thus far this season, as his usage rate decreases 6.5% to a measly 11.9%, albeit in a limited sample size. With Dudley and T.J. Warren sidelined, Eric Bledsoe has been the one Suns player to really take advantage, averaging over a fantasy point per minute with a solid 26.1% usage rate in their absences.

Winslow will not play in tomorrow night’s game against the Boston Celtics with a wrist injury that has now kept him sidelined for eight consecutive games. Dragic, Waiters, Ellington, and Reed are all listed as questionable on the Heat’s injury report with various physical ailments as well. If all four players were to miss Monday’s contest along with Winslow, there would be a plethora of value options open up on this Miami squad. This is a situation we will need to monitor going into tomorrow, as the injury news would drastically change landscape of Monday’s slate.

With Bayless officially ruled out, Sergio Rodriguez will be reinserted in the starting lineup at point guard and has flashed upside on several occasions throughout the young season, making him a potentially intriguing tournament option for the early and/or all day slates.

Shumpert will not play in today’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers with a strained left hamstring. His absence should free up some additional minutes for Jordan McRae and Mike Dunleavy, though neither are particularly intriguing fantasy options. McRae does own a 26.5% usage rate with Shumpert and Channing Frye off the court this season, but he has yet to convert that usage into actually fantasy production, so in theory, he could be worth a dart throw in large field tournaments. As previously mentioned, Frye has already been ruled out, so Chris Anderson will likely see some extended run with the second unit as well.

Nowitzki and Williams are both listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans with various physical ailments. Seth Curry and Dorian Finney-Smith would likely draw the starts at point guard and small forward, respectively, if both Nowitzki and Williams are unable to suit up. Harrison Barnes sees a slight uptick in usage at the power forward position with Dirk off the court, as he owns a 30.8% usage rate that is 2.1% higher than his season average. The biggest beneficiaries of Nowitzki and Williams’ potential absences are Seth Curry and Justin Anderson, as they see a 4.4% and 3.5% increase in usage with Dirk and Williams off the court this season. If both are ultimately ruled out, feel free to fire up any combination of Barnes, Curry, and Anderson in all formats.

Green and Clark have both been ruled out for tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves with various ailments. Kevon Looney will draw the start at power forward, while Patrick McCaw will assume the primary backup shooting guard duties in the second unit. They are both viable punt options, though Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry remain the primary targets for this Golden State squad. Durant has played the most minutes with the combination of Green and Clark off the court and sees a 4.8% increase in usage over his season average. Curry plays most of his minutes with Green on the floor, and the sample is small, but he owns a 33.8% usage rate with Green off the court this season, while averaging an insane 2.06 DraftKings and 1.89 FanDuel points per minute.

Daniels is available to play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat, but he will come off the bench, if he plays, in favor of Williams. The Grizzlies are extremely shorthanded already with Chandler Parsons, Zach Randolph, James Ennis, and Brandan Wright already ruled out. This means that Troy Williams will see a substantial increase in minutes over his usual allotment. Williams is the punt option to target on the Grizzlies, as Williams he owns a 24.8% usage rate with the aforementioned players off the court this season, albeit in a limited sample. We could certainly do worse than Williams for a punt in tournaments since he is just the stone minimum around the industry.
