Joel Embiid's minutes limit bumped to 24; makes for great value play tonight
The 76ers rookie center leads the league in usage (although he hasn’t played enough minutes to technically qualify) and is getting a slight increase in his minutes limitation tonight. He makes for a strong punt option at the center position on FanDuel and is a great option on sites like DraftKings that allow you to roster two centers.

Avery Bradley misses practice
The Celtics guard is battling a sore right shoulder and will be examined by the team doctor. No word yet on the seriousness or whether it will cause him to miss any games but we’ll keep an eye on the situation and update you as we learn more.

Jazz Head Coach Quin Snyder stated Boris Diaw would sit out tonight’s game for rest purposes and the Derrick Favors would likely start (although with minutes restricted). Even if Favors gets close to 30 minutes it’s not an ideal spot to target him as he faces a Spurs team that is 2nd in PF DvP.

Galloway has confirmed that he will play tonight when New Orleans takes on the Bucks. He’s not a viable DFS option at this time as he’s averaging only 3.7 points per game on under 25% shooting from the field.

The Bulls forward suffered a concussion the other night and has entered the league concussion protocol. The team is hopeful he will be able to play tomorrow night against the Celtics. His absence would mean a likely uptick in minutes for Nikola Mirotic. We’ll update you when more comes in on McDermott.

Booker was questionable to suit up tonight against the Clippers for a majority of the day with a sprained toe, and has now been officially ruled out. Brandon Knight will get the start in his place. Knight was already an intriguing tournament option prior to the Booker injury news, but becomes an elite play in his absence. Knight has been largely inefficient thus far for the Suns (6.0 PER), but he is still averaging 29 minutes off the bench with a 26.6% usage rate. We can only expect those numbers to rise this evening.

DeAndre Jordan (thumb) will play tonight, as expected
Jordan is expected to play in tonight’s game against Phoenix without any limitations, but he finds himself in a tough matchup against Suns starting center, Tyson Chandler. He is ultimately a low-ceiling option This evening in what could turn into a blowout. If that’s the case, or Jordan re-aggravates his thumb injury, we could see some extended run for Marreese Speights, who has always been an excellent point-per-minute fantasy producer.

Brook Lopez was rested in his previous game but will be starting against the Bulls tonight. Lopez should have a low amount of ownership and is a viable tournament option. Jonas Valanciunas is the higher upside play in the same price range.
Omri Casspi ruled out tonight
Casspi will be inactive for the Kings tonight as they travel to Atlanta to take on the Hawks. Casspi was averaging just 9 minutes per game for Sacramento, so his absence is unlikely to provide any significant boost to the potential fantasy output of any of the Kings players. Rudy Gay and Matt Barnes are still the wing players to target while their prices remain affordable.

Arthur will miss his third straight game this evening, as the Nuggets take on the Raptors in Toronto. In his absence, Kenneth Faried has surprisingly received the most consistent minutes of the Denver big men and has continued to put up solid numbers. Mike Malone seems to be riding the “hot hand” of Nikola Jokic or Jusuf Nurkic with only one of them exceeding 24 minutes in each game. If targeting a member of the Nuggets frontcourt, Faried seems to the guy and can be had at a discount compared to Jokic and Nurkic.

Galloway is officially probable for tomorrow night’s game against Milwaukee and is likely to play. Galloway hasn’t factored much into the Pelicans rotation thus far, but if he were to be inactive for some reason, Lance Stephenson and Buddy Hield could be in line a couple more minutes. Though, the minutes boost would be pretty minimal.

Devin Booker sprained his toe last night and had to exit the game at one point. He is currently being listed as questionable for tonight’s game against the Clippers. He is a game-time decision and will likely not be known before lineups lock. Brandon Knight figures to replace him the lineup, but we don’t have anything else official at this time.

Stuckey has already missed one game due to this hamstring injury. He will continue to be out of the lineup against Lakers on Tuesday. C.J. Miles stepped up in place of Miles on Saturday with 19.8 DKFP. Miles is averaging 19.1 DraftKings DraftKings FPPG and has played over 20 minutes in his last two games. If Aaron Brooks is ruled out Miles is an elite option if his salary does not spike. Brook has not played this season and would likely not see over 10 minutes of action on Tuesday.

Jordan seemed to have a thumb injury scare last night against the Jazz. After x-rays came back negative, Jordan should be expected to start and not have any limitations. He’s a low ceiling center, in tough matchup, with a projected blowout.

The starting PG for the Timberwolves suffered a sprained right elbow in the teams last game and will be evaluated tonight by doctors to determine his status for tomorrow. If he can’t go, rookie Kris Dunn should receive a big bump is playing time and usage. Zach LaVine should also benefit. We’ll update you when more news on Rubio comes in.
