George Hill will play Sunday
George Hill will play Sunday against the Hawks. He was questionable earlier in the day with a toe injury. Hill is only a GPP play tonight, it sounds like he’s not 100 % healthy. Monta Ellis still makes for a nice play tonight with Hill playing. Over his last three games, Ellis is averaging 37 FD points per game. Ellis is just $6,600 on FD and $6,100 on DK

DeMarcus Cousins starting Sunday
DeMarcus Cousins will start Sunday against the Jazz after being suspended for the last game. Cousins is only a GPP play tonight. He has the biggest upside of any frontcourt player on tonight’s slate. You have to wonder if Cousins will get his normal minutes tonight after the bench incident he was suspended for. The Jazz have one of the best defenses in the NBA at defending opposing frontcourts.

Ty Lawson won’t play Sunday because of a foot injury. Lawson has played just five minutes since joining the Pacers, so his loss doesn’t have any fantasy impact. With George Hill currently a game-time decision, Rodney Stuckey and Joseph Young could see some extra minutes tonight.

Shelvin Mack had a heck of a game Friday night scoring 27 real-life points en route to 36.75 DK points. While we don’t expect a performance like that again here soon, he is still underpriced for his recent production. He is beginning to log heavier minutes for the Jazz as they are slowly giving Mack more responsibility and trusting him to be out on the court for a longer period of time. It has been a very nice change of scenery both for Mack and DFS players alike, as he is now a very solid value play in a match up vs. the Kings. It is the slowest paced team in the league vs. the fastest paced team and the Jazz will see a huge bump in their number of possessions which only means more opportunities to accrue fantasy points. Mack makes for a very nice low-tier value play at the PG position and with not very many “stars” in action it will allow you to fill the rest of your roster with quite a few of the other top options on the board.
Monta Ellis has been performing more consistently of late
After a bit of an up and down season for Monta Ellis, he is finally becoming a more reliable DFS option. He has had at least 28 DK points in eight of his last ten games and has been logging heavy minutes for the Pacers. He is a solid option on DK at $6,100, and while he is a bit more expensive on FD at $6,600 he is definitely in play as he offers a relatively high floor on a site you have to roster two SGs. He has played at least 34 minutes in all of his last ten games and is averaging 37.1 DK points over that time. The Hawks are 18th in DvP vs. opposing SGs and Ellis is a great option for your cash games.
Kevin Love starting Sunday
Kevin Love will play Sunday against the Clippers. Love missed the last game with a leg injury. Love has been up and down recently, and makes for a nice GPP play today. Love will be lowly owned compared to Paul Millsap, Derrick Favors, Thaddeus Young, and Jabari Parker. Channing Frye loses his value with Love back in the lineup.
As reported by: John Michael Brook Lopez has taken a bigger role in the offense without Joe Johnson
The Nets have been dealing with issues all season, but it all came to a culmination when Joe Johnson was released. They only have so many players that can score the ball, and Brook Lopez has shown that he is one of the biggest beneficiaries in Johnson’s absence as he takes over a bigger role in the offense. Lopez has always been a fairly volatile player, but he has been much more consistent lately now that Johnson is gone. In the past where he had a floor of about 18 fantasy points, his floor now seems to be upwards of 25-28 fantasy points. He is a top option at center because he now has the stability we like to see in cash games but he still offers that 60-point upside we have always loved in tournaments. He gets a great match up with the Bucks who have been really bad at defending opposing centers. They are 20th in DvP over the course of the season but they are dead last over the last seven games. It wouldn’t be out of the question for Lopez to put up one of his 35 point, 10 rebound games in a great matchup tonight and he is consistent enough he can now be considered a solid option for cash games as well.
Timofey Mozgov will start for Tristan Thompson on Sunday
Timofey Mozgov will start for the Cavaliers Sunday against the Clippers. He is likely starting to matchup up with DeAndre Jordan. He isn’t a DFS option today. Tristan Thompson can still be looked at in a GPP even though he is coming off the bench. He is averaging 32 FD points over his last two games.

Jae Crowder will be out for at least a couple weeks with an ankle injury. With Crowder out of the lineup, Evan Turner becomes an elite value play.

Kobe Bryant will play Sunday against the Knicks. Bryant hasn’t been playing consecutive games recently, but will tonight in his last game with the Knicks. He is a GPP play only tonight. Bryant had 39 FD points in 32 minutes against the Cavaliers on Thursday. With Louis Williams likely back in the rotation, Bryant’s minutes might decline.

Luc Richard Mbah a Moute will start for the Clippers on Sunday against the Cavaliers. He had missed the last five games with an eye injury. He isn’t a DFS option today. Pierce will miss his second straight game with a toe injury. Jeff Green and Wesley Johnson are GPP punt plays only with Pierce out.

Pau Gasol will miss the next two games and maybe more with a knee injury. With Gasol out, Taj Gibson will get most of the minutes at center. He is a very safe cash game play, but Gibson doesn’t have the upside for GPPs. Nikola Mirotic and Bobby Portis should split the minutes at the four. Both could be worth a punt in a GPP.

Jimmy Butler is expected to play on Monday against the Raptors. He has missed the last three games with a knee injury. If Butler isn’t on any type of minute’s restriction tomorrow; he makes for a great GPP play. In his first game back from injury earlier this month Butler had a monster game against the Rockets. He finished with 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists. E’Twaun Moore and Justin Holiday lose their value with Butler in the lineup.

Brandon Knight will return to the starting lineup tonight against the Warriors. With Knight starting, Ronnie Price will head to the bench. Knight returned last night after missing a long period of time with an injury. He played 25 minutes and finished with 19 FD points last night against the Nuggets. He isn’t a DFS option tonight.
