Dion Waiters (personal) unlikely to return Monday

Dion Waiters remains away from the Thunder mourning the death of his brother, and it doesn’t appear that he’ll be back in action tonight. Andre Roberson and Anthony Morrow will continue to see bigger workloads until Waiters returns, but neither of the two are DFS options on a 9-game slate. Waiters’ next opportunity to return will come Wednesday in Boston.

Kevin Garnett, Nikola Pekovic remain out Monday

Kevin Garnett has been ruled out for Monday’s game against the Suns. It’s still very unclear when either he or Nikola Pekovic will return to action. With the Suns boasting one of the biggest front-courts in the league, this could be a great night to hop back aboard the Gorgui Dieng train. He should see upwards of 30 minutes against the duo of Tyson Chandler and Alex Len, and his price has started to fall after an underwhelming start to March. Karl-Anthony Towns also remains squarely in play tonight.

Lance Stephenson and Vince Carter both questionable for tonight's game

Carter was expected to be listed as questionable but the Stephenson news is a bit surprising for the injury ravaged Grizzlies. There’s no telling who would benefit most as it would pretty much be all decks on hands if both of these players are unable to go. Tony Allen and the point guard duo of Ray McCollum and Briante Weber would likely stand to benefit the most. We’ll update the status of these two throughout the day as information becomes available.

Zach Randolph does not travel with team; OUT for tonight's game

As expected, Randolph will not play for the Grizzlies tonight after not traveling with the team for their game against the Houston Rockets. JaMychal Green should continue to be in line for the start but at his now elevated price tag he no longer is the lock and load play that he once was, even going against a horrendous Rockets defense. His ownership numbers should be much lower due to recency bias coming off a dud his last game out, but there is cause for concern with Alex Stepheson now in the mix (he played 18 minutes last game) that he might not be the lock for 30+ minutes that he once was. Still he’ll make for a nice contrarian mid-range play at PF. Stepheson himself makes for an intriguing punt option, especially at DraftKings where he is listed as a SF.

Orlando Magic injury report for Tuesday's game

Elfrid Payton, Nikola Vucevic, and Ersan Ilyasova all missed practice for the Magic today while Brandon Jennings did. All except Ilyasova (who is expected to play) are uncertain/questionable for their game tomorrow. We’ll update the status on all four tomorrow when their statuses are updated.

Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler will play tonight; Derrick Rose game-time decision

Butler will definitely play tonight per Bulls Head Coach Fred Hoiberg and with Pau Gasol already ruled out for the next two games and Rose a game-time decision (50/50 according to Hoiberg), his usage could be through the roof. However, he will be on a minutes limitation so he’s a GPP play only especially going against a Raptors team that is 4th in the league in fantasy points allowed per game. We’ll update you on Rose’s status when we learn more.

Jusuf Nurkic

Utah Jazz
3/14/16, 11:44 AM ET

Jusuf Nurkic and Joffrey Lauvergne both game-time decisions for Nuggets tonight

Nurkic only went through a portion of the team shootaround this morning with knee soreness while Lauvergne missed shootaround to get fitted for a mask for his cheekbone bruise. Both are considered game-time decisions for the Nuggets when they take on the Heat tonight. Neither player has topped 20 minutes in their last four games and viable DFS options against a Heat team that is 6th in C DvP. Either player missing could mean more minutes, however, for Nikola Jokic, who is an inconsistent performer but has shown upside at times this season. There are better options at the position in his price range though. We’ll update you on the status of these two later today when more information comes in.

Norris Cole

Oklahoma City Thunder
3/14/16, 10:54 AM ET

Norris Cole questionable; Alexis Ajinca out for Pelicans tonight

Ajinca has been ruled out again – not shocking or relevant news from a DFS perspective. Cole will be a game-time decision it looks like. He’s missed the last three games in which time Toney Douglas has averaged 24+ FanDuel fpts per game over 32 minutes per game. He only played 19 minutes in his last game though and there are better value options out there across the industry tonight so he’s merely a GPP flyer. We’ll update you on Cole when we learn more later tonight.

Arron Afflalo will play Sunday, Sasha Vujacic will still start

Arron Afflalo will play tonight against the Lakers, but he will come off the bench. Afflalo has missed the last two games with an abdomen injury. Sasha Vujacic will still start for the Knicks. Both Afflalo and Vujacic are GPP punt plays only tonight. It’s tough to predict how the minutes will breakdown between Afflalo and Vujacic.

Kristaps Porzingis

3/13/16, 8:34 PM ET

Kristaps Porzingis out Sunday, Derrick Williams will start

Kristaps Porzingis won’t play Sunday against the Lakers because of the stomach flu. Derrick Williams will start for Porzingis. Williams started for the injured Porzingis on March 5th and was a disappointment. He played 19 minutes and finished with just 15 FD points. Williams is a GPP punt play only tonight. With Lance Thomas also out; Williams should get 30 plus minutes tonight. Williams is priced at $3,800 on both sites. He is listed as a PF on FD, and a SF on DK.

Kristaps Porzingis questionable Sunday

Kristaps Porzingis is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Lakers because of the stomach flu. Head coach Kurt Rambis said Derrick Williams would start if Porzingis can’t go tonight. With Lance Thomas already ruled out, Williams could be in for heavy minutes tonight.

Louis Williams will play Sunday

Louis Williams will play Sunday against the Knicks. Williams has missed the last four games with a hamstring issue. Williams isn’t a DFS option tonight as his minutes aren’t safe. Head coach Byron Scott said he still wants to find minutes for Marcelo Huertas.

Bojan Bogdanovic

Brooklyn Nets
3/13/16, 7:45 PM ET

Nets starters: Sloan, Brown, Bogdanovic, Young, Lopez

Bojan Bogdanovic will play Sunday against the Bucks after being rested on Friday night. Bogdanovic is a GPP play only. He has been up and down recently. Just look at his fantasy points from the last four games (23,10,19,32). Markel Brown will start for Wayne Ellington. Brown makes for a nice GPP punt play tonight. Brown started the last game for Bogdanovic, but finished with just 8 FD points in 28 minutes. Brown does have the upside for tournaments, just a couple games ago he had 42 FD points. He is just $4,100 on DK and $3,900 on FD. Sean Kilpatrick should see some extra minutes off the bench tonight.

Wayne Ellington won’t play Sunday against the Bucks because of an illness. Markel Brown will likely start for Ellington. Brown makes for a nice GPP punt play tonight. He is just $4,100 on DK and $3,900 on FD.
