No structural damage to Rose, game-time decision for Tuesday
Derrick Rose’s MRI showed no structural damage to his knee and he’s a game-time decision for tomorrow’s meeting with the Bucks. He went through practice today and the swelling he’s been dealing with has gone down, so it appears that he has a fairly good shot to suit up tomorrow. He won’t be a recommended target if he’s able to go and it will slightly hurt the value of Jimmy Butler, but if Rose sits, Butler becomes a stronger play and Aaron Brooks also enters the discussion as a GPP punt.

He’s been out forever (the past 13 games) and will be out again tonight. There is little to no DFS implications from this news.

Derrick Favors questionable for tonight's game
The Jazz forward has missed the last five games with back spasms and is questionable for tonight’s game against the Rockets. Trevor Booker benefits most if Favors can not play and is an elite value option if that happens.

Hill is battling food poisoning and is questionable for today’s game with the Miami Heat after missing the team shootaround this morning. If he doesn’t go, C.J. Miles would get the start according to reports. The Heat are a tough defensive team that is fourth in the league in terms of fantasy points allowed per game but Miles does have some value at his price point if he is going to get starters minutes. When he has played at least 30 minutes this season he is averaging 27.3 FanDuel fantasy points per game.

The Thunder star forward injured his toe in the second quarter of their game against the Hornets and is considered day-to-day. He will miss their game today against the Sacramento Kings. Anyone familiar with NBA DFS knows what this means… cue up Russell Westbrook as his usage goes through the roof when Durant does not play. According to statmuse, Westbrook’s usage is 38.9 when Durant does not play. Enes Kanter and Serge Ibaka should also benefit slightly from Durant’s absence.

The Pistons PG tweaked his ankle on Saturday but is good to go and will play today according to their head coach. The Magic are 11th in PG DvP and Jackson did put up 53 FanDuel fantasy points the last time he face them. However, he has been slumping of late relatively speaking as he has not topped five times value in any of his last six games and hasn’t topped four times in three of those games. On a fairly large slate there are better options to choose from.

Avery Bradley will miss Monday’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a hip pointer. There is no set date on his return to the court yet. Evan Turner should benefit the most from Bradley’s absence and is an excellent mid-range value option on today’s slate against a Nets team that is 24th in SG DvP and 26th in overall fantasy points allowed per game.

Jon Leuer will start Sunday for the Suns against the Lakers; T.J. Warren will head to the bench. Warren has started the last two games and played 36 and 41 minutes. The two games before that when he didn’t start, he played just 22 and 27 minutes. He is not the safe cash game play anymore, but could still make for a great play. Leuer has a great matchup against the Lakers and makes for a nice late swap option on DK.

Kobe Bryant out Sunday
Bryant will miss his second straight game with a shoulder injury. Anthony Brown will start for him, but he is DFS irrelevant. He started last game for Bryant, and finished with just 13 FD points. Without Bryant, this will give a bump up to the three guards Lou Williams, D’Angelo Russell, and Jordan Clarkson. Williams will see the most increase in usage, as last game he had 35 FD points.

Lillard will miss his seventh straight game with a foot injury. It appears that he is getting close to returning. With this news, C.J. McCollum and Allen Crabbe remain great plays. Without Lillard, McCollum is averaging 38 FD points per game. Crabbe has averaged 17 points per game without Lillard. They both have great matchups against the Nuggets backcourt.

After looking like he could be out for a long period of time last night, Faried will start tonight for the Nuggets. He makes for a great GPP play tonight, because no one will be one considering he spent last night in the hospital. Since he is playing tonight you have to assume he will play somewhere close to his normal minutes. With him playing, this hurts the value of Darrell Arthur. Don’t play anyone else in the Nuggets frontcourt, because it is a mess.

Bradley last left game with a hip injury, and will miss Monday’s game against the Nets. We will have to wait and find out who the Celtics will start in his place. It will likely be Marcus Smart or Evan Turner. Either player will be hard to trust in cash games, but could make for a nice GPP play.

Winslow will test his ankle in warmups, but is expected to play Sunday against the Wizards. Winslow is not a DFS option for tonight’s game. With him returning this hurts the value and minutes of Gerald Green and Luol Deng.

Parker will not play Monday against the Bucks with a hip injury. It’s the Spurs so we will have to wait and see who starts for Parker. Patty Mills and Manu Ginobili will both see extra minutes, while Mills will benefit the most without Parker.

Neal will miss his fifth straight game with a quad strain. With him out, Ramon Sessions and Garrett Temple have been getting a ton of minutes. Both are GPP punt plays only today as the Wizards have a tough matchup against the Heat. Of the two Sessions has been playing better lately. Over his last three games, he is averaging 23 FD points per game.
