Kenneth Faried listed as questionable tonight
After last night’s scary injury, the Nuggets list Faried as questionable for today’s game against Portland. Really can’t see him playing today considering he left the arena last night in a stretcher. Rarely can you put trust in team’s injury reports. Guess we will have to wait and see, Darrell Arthur will likely start in his place.
As reported by: Marc SpearsGary Neal questionable Sunday
Neal is questionable for Sunday’s game with a quad strain. Even if he does play Neal is unplayable for your DFS lineups, because his minutes are unknown. If he does play this hurts the value of Ramon Sessions and Garrett Temple.
As reported by: Jorge CastilloDamian Lillard game-time decision Sunday
Lillard will go through a hard pre-game workout to determine if he can play Sunday against the Nuggets. This just proves you can always ignore the game notes. He makes for a great GPP play, because not a lot of people will be on him with the injury concern. We also won’t know his status at the 6:00 lock time for the main slates. If he returns this would hurt the usage of C.J. McCollum and hurt the value of Allen Crabbe.
As reported by: Casey HoldahlJarrett Jack out for the season
Jack will miss the entire season with a torn ACL. This will benefit Shane Larkin as he should get all the minutes he can handle. He will be a top value play for the weeks to come as long as his price doesn’t rise that much.
As reported by: NBADerrick Rose out Sunday
Rose will not play Sunday because of a hamstring injury. In the two games without Rose, Kirk Hinrich has started, but has played only an average of 15 minutes per game. Aaron Brooks played 41 minutes the 1st game Rose was out, but he only played 13 minutes last game. You could take a chance on Brooks as a GPP play punt. The safe play with Rose out, is of course Jimmy Butler. In the two games without Rose, he is averaging 41 FD points per game.
As reported by: Nick FriedellMason Plumlee will play Sunday
Plumlee will play Sunday against Denver after missing Saturday’s practice with an illness. He is a GPP play only tonight, not only because he may be under the weather, but because of his inconsistent play. Just look at last four games (14.8, 33.4 ,17.7, 35.8 ) FD points.
As reported by: Casey HoldahlKobe Bryant a game-time decision Sunday
Bryant will be a game-time decision Sunday against the Suns with a shoulder injury. Even if he plays he is an easy fade for your DFS lineups. If he can’t go, Anthony Brown will likely start, but he is not a DFS option. If Bryant is ruled out, this will give a bump up to guards Lou Williams, D’Angelo Russell, and Jordan Clarkson.
As reported by: Mark MedinaDamian Lillard listed as starter Sunday
Lillard is listed as a starter in the game notes for Sunday’s game against the Nuggets. Game notes can be unreliable, but he wasn’t listed as a starter in any of the games he missed. We will have to wait closer to game-time to confirm he is starting Sunday. He would make for a great GPP play, because not a lot of people will be on him with the injury concern. If he returns this would hurt the usage of C.J. McCollum and hurt the value of Allen Crabbe.
As reported by: Casey HoldahlKenneth Faried out Sunday
Faried had a scary injury last night, and didn’t even travel back with the team to Denver. He will likely be out for a long period of time. For fantasy purposes, it’s tough to predict the Denver frontcourt. Darrell Arthur will likely start, and Nikola Jokic will also see some time. For DFS purposes I would fade this situation tonight, and wait a couple games to see who is benefitting with Faried out.
As reported by: Dieter KurtenbachWesley Johnson will start for Paul Pierce
Johnson will start for the Clippers with Paul Pierce taking the night off. Johnson is a GPP punt play only. You can never trust the Clippers value players. If you want to play anyone from the Clippers just play Chris Paul or DeAndre Jordan. You could even through J.J. Reddick into the mix, but after that the Clippers are a mess.
As reported by: ClippersNuggets Starters: Nelson Harris Gallinari Faried Jokić
Nikola Jokic will start on Saturday against the Warriors, Joffrey Lauvergne will head to the bench. As I have been saying all day fade the Nuggets front-court, just too many bodies and the minutes breakdown is unknown. Plus this game with the Warriors will be a blowout. You could throw Nelson or Gallinari into a GPP.
As reported by: Denver NuggetsFestus Ezeli out Saturday
Ezeli will miss his third straight game with a toe injury. Last game, Andrew Bogut played 36 minutes. He only finished with 21 FD points, but you have to like the minutes. He has a nice matchup tonight against the interior of the Nuggets frontcourt.
As reported by: Golden State WarriorsStephen Curry will play and start Saturday
Curry will return to the lineup tonight after missing the last two games. Curry makes for a nice GPP play today. Not a lot of people will be on him, considering he is returning from an injury, and the blowout factor. THe Warriors are somewhat shorthanded tonight, so he could see some extra minutes. With him returning this hurts the value of Shaun Livingston. This also bumps down Klay Thompson.
As reported by: Monte PooleAndre Iguodala to start Saturday
With both Brandon Rush and Harrison Barnes out, Iguodala will get the start Saturday against his former team. He is coming off best game in a long while. Against Houston, he finished with 32 FD points in 33 minutes of action. He is just $5,200 on DK and $4,800 on FD. He could be worth a late swap on DK.
As reported by: Marc SpearsDanilo Gallinari starting tonight
As expected Gallinari will play tonight and start. He had missed six games . It’s tough to play him tonight considering he is returning from injury, and this game will likely be a blowout. With him returning this hurts the value of Gary Harris and Will Barton a little bit.
