Otto Porter (thigh) not available to play Wednesday
Otto Porter has been ruled out for Wednesday’s contest against the Grizzlies. Look for Kelly Oubre to get another start for Porter and he should be able to provide solid value. Oubre had his huge game against the Spurs in a blowout loss, so it is tough to recommend Oubre much more than a decent punt option. His ceiling looks pretty capped due to his unpolished offensive game, but he should still see a ton of minutes. The matchup against the Grizzlies isn’t too appealing but he is there if you need a punt forward. Look for Marcin Gortat and Jared Dudley to benefit the most in the frontcourt with Porter out.
As reported by: WizardsElfrid Payton (ankle) starting tonight
The Magic look to get Elfrid Payton back into the starting lineup even though he was not able to finish his last game. Payton is a risky GPP only option tonight with so many choices on the board. The Rockets are visiting Orlando, so there is a possibility that Payton is able to hit value. With the Rockets giving up fantasy points to basically every position, it is wise to put some Magic in your lineup tonight.
As reported by: MagicGary Neal (back) GTD on Wednesday
The Wizards have a ton of injuries but are hopeful to get Gary Neal back tonight. Neal was a participant in shootaround, so there he is more than likely to go. Neal’s status will be decided in warmups, but if he is to go Ramon Sessions would see a slight decrease in DFS value. Sessions still has value but now has a lower ceiling with the possibility of Sessions returning to the lineup.
As reported by: J. MichaelBrandon Knight projected to start for Devin Booker Wednesday
The Suns were not able to secure a victory with a new starting lineup so they will be changing it again. Brandon Knight played well in his one game off the bench, and looks to be inserted back in with the starters. P.J. Tucker had no impact coming off the bench and will likely remain there with T.J. Warren starting. We will confirm starters once they are officially announced.
As reported by: Paul CoroDanilo Gallinari and Emmanuel Mudiay out tonight
The Nuggets have announced that Gallinari will miss his second straight game and Mudiay his sixth straight game as the Nuggets take on the Suns tonight in a game that has one of the highest totals of the night. Jameer Nelson will continue to start for Mudiay but his price has risen to the point where he’s not a must play and with a large slate there are probably better options out there. Kostas Papanikolaou got the start for Gallinari last night but only logged 11 minutes so he’s not in play for DFS purposes. Will Barton and Kenneth Faried and perhaps Nikola Jokic are the Nuggets you want to target.
As reported by: Harrison Wind on TwitterC.J. McCollum and Allen Crabbe to start tonight
Blazers Head Coach Terry Stotts stated that C.J. McCollum would start at point guard tonight with Allen Crabbe starting at shooting guard. Tim Frazier will return to the bench and back up McCollum at the point. The Blazers take on one of the worst defensive teams in the league in the Pelicans who are 28th in PG DvP and 24th in SG DvP. McCollum should carry the offensive load for the Blazers and is an elite play and Crabbe is an excellent value option.
As reported by: Joe Freeman on TwitterDeron Williams doubtful to play tonight
The Mavericks guard heard a pop in his hamstring last night and is considered doubtful to play against his old team the Nets tonight. With Devin Harris already ruled out, J.J. Barea would be an elite value option if Williams is unable to go. Raymond Felton would also get a bump as the Nets are 27th in the league in terms of PG DvP.
As reported by: Michael Lark on TwitterOtto Porter looks doubtful for tonight's game
Otto Porter did not go through shootaround today while Gary Neal did. Porter looks as if he will miss another game with his injured thigh. Despite his price rising slightly, Kelly Oubre will be an excellent value play if Porter does not play again and he gets the start. Oubre has put up at least 17.25 DraftKings fantasy points his last four games which is five times his current $3,400 price tag.
As reported by: Jorge Castillo on TwitterPaul Millsap looks probable to play tonight
Millsap says his ankle is fine and he looks as if he will play tonight against the Pistons. It’s a great match up for Millsap as Detroit is 24th in PF DvP.
As reported by: Chris Vivlamore on TwitterKyle O'Quinn questionable for tonight's game
O’Quinn took part in today’s shootaround but is still considered questionable for tonight’s game against the Cavaliers. O’Quinn would definitely be in play as a value option if he is able to give it a go as he has hit five times value in five of his last six games including three games at eight times value or better.
As reported by: New York Knicks official Twitter feedElfrid Payton probable to play tonight
Magic Head Coach Scott Skiles stated that Elfrid Payton is probable to play tonight in their game against the Houston Rockets. The game is projected to be a relatively high-scoring close affair and Payton is in play against a Houston team that despite the defense of Patrick Beverley is 22nd in PG DvP
As reported by: Josh Robbins on TwitterAmir Johnson out, Jared Sullinger probable tonight
The Celtics announced that Amir Johnson is out tonight and that Jared Sullinger is probable for their game against the Charlotte Hornets. Tyler Zeller and David Lee are the biggest beneficiaries of this news and are worthy of consideration as value punt plays as they take on a Hornets team that is one of the worst in the league against power forwards (26th in DvP). Sullinger is a good mid-range play at the center position although there is always the worry the injury that kept him out last game will limit his minutes.
As reported by: Boston Celtics official Twitter feedCarmelo Anthony questionable for tonight
The Knicks star forward took part in shootaround this morning but is still considered questionable for the teams game tonight against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs are heavy favorites and are 3rd in the league in SF DvP so even if Anthony does go, it’s not the best match up – it’s probably best to look elsewhere for your SF tonight.
As reported by: Al Iannazzone on TwitterKobe Bryant starting after sitting one game with a sore shoulder
Kobe Bryant will return to the lineup after a one game absence and should be considered an elite option against the Nuggets. With Bryant rested he should have his legs to run in this game. The Nuggets will start off with Kostas Papanikolaou on him but expect to see Will Barton as well. The Nuggets and Lakers do not play much defense so this should be a high-scoring affair with a ton of fantasy points to go around.
As reported by: Chris DempseyNuggets starters: Nelson, Harris, Papanikolaou, Faried, and Lauvergne
The Nuggets have confirmed their starters and will be bringing Papanikolaou in for the injured Danilo Gallinari. The rest of the starters remain the same for the Nuggets tonight. Nelson, Harris, and Faried are all elite values tonight against the Lakers who give up a ton of fantasy points. Look for Will Barton to also make a significant impact off the bench.
