J.J. Barea starting, not Chandler Parsons tonight
The Mavs have made another lineup change with Deron Williams out, and will be starting J.J. Barea tonight. Chandler Parsons was originally slated the starter but was likely kept on the bench due to this game being on the second night of a back-to-back. Barea gets a huge bump in value tonight with the starting nod, and should be able to see 30 minutes.

Brandon Knight confirmed starter tonight
The Suns will insert Brandon Knight back into the starting lineup after his one-game benching. Knight played well coming off the bench and will look to keep it going against the Nuggets tonight. The Nuggets will be without Jameer Nelson, and will have to start by guarding Knight with Randy Foye. Foye can’t guard Knight what so ever, therefore Knight is an elite option tonight.

Giannis Antetokounmpo will make his return after missing one game with a knee injury. Antetokounmpo gets to face the Sixers tonight, so he should be able to dominate in this one. The Bucks will be without Coach Jason Kidd tonight, so it might be tough to predict rotation. If the Bucks end up blowing out the Sixers, look for John Henson to get some extra burn.

Ty Lawson will be returning from his two-game suspension and Rockets coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. “We’re going to give him his spot before he left, give him an opportunity to run.” Lawson has not been playing well this season so he is not a DFS option tonight. Marcus Thornton played well in Lawson’s two-game absence, but will likely not see more 12-15 minutes with Lawson’s return.
Nick Young out on Wednesday
The Lakers have ruled out Nick Young with gastroenteritis tonight. The Lakers host the Thunder and Young may have got some extra garbage time minutes. With Young out, look for D’Angelo Russell to get a ton of minutes backing up the Lakers’ guards. Russell is a GPP option at best, but does have a chance to hit value with the game projected to be a blowout.

Greg Monroe sits at $7,100 on DraftKings and there are several other options at that price point, meaning Monroe will probably be low-owned. Over the last 3 weeks the Sixers have let up the most points than any other team to opposing centers and it shouldn’t change tonight with Monroe. In the last 2 games since Monroe has been back from a knee injury he has played 26 and 27 minutes, but before that he had been consistently playing in the low 30s in terms of minutes. The Bucks are coming off of a three-day rest and Monroe will hopefully be close to 100% tonight. It is kind of a risky pick best suited for GPPs, but Monroe has high upside vs. the Sixers defense and looks to bounce back from the knee injury tonight.
Devin Harris out Wednesday with a hamstring injury
Devin Harris is out tonight as well for the Mavs and J.J. Barea should be able to pick up his minutes. Barea has been playing well and is an elite punt option. Look for Barea to get near 30 minutes and should easily be able to exceed value. He will be a chalky play due to his cheap price compared to his possible upside. The Mavs are on the second night of a back-to-back so there may be other players resting as well.

Deron Williams has been officially ruled out with his hamstring injury and Raymond Felton will likely start in his place. Felton is great option at his mid-range price and should be able to hit value against the Nets. Williams injury also likely brings Chandler Parsons into the starting lineup for the Mavs tonight. Parsons struggled last night, but will look to turn it around against Joe Johnson.

Deron Williams and Devin Harris are both doubtful tonight and if either end up being active it significantly hurts Barea’s value, however if they are both ruled out then Barea becomes an elite value as the only active PG for the Mavericks. The Mavs will likely start Wesley Matthews and Raymond Felton, but Barea will probably see a good run off the bench and he produces while he is out there. The last game when Deron Williams was sidelined Barea logged 29 minutes, scored 21 real-life points and Harris was also active for that game vs. Washington. With Harris also likely out for this game as well, that will give Barea even more minutes and more opportunity for production vs. a bad Nets PG defense. At only $3,600 on DraftKings, Barea will likely play 25 minutes or more off of the bench and is an elite value option as long as Williams and Harris are out so keep an eye on both of their statuses.
Mo Williams will play tonight
Mo Williams has confirmed that he will be playing tonight which cuts into Matthew Dellavedova’s minutes. With Kyrie Irving also back, it is tough to recommend any Cavs PG tonight. Look for LeBron James to be the elite value in Clevland with Lance Thomas guarding him.

Lance Thomas will be starting tonight for the injured Carmelo Anthony. Thomas is coming off his best game of the season so he does have solid DFS value. Thomas has been hot lately and has scored in double figures in six straight games. The Knicks take on the Cavs tonight and Thomas will likely have to guard LeBron James. Going against James is always a risk, so there is a chance that Lance Thomas can bust.

Jared Sullinger and Kelly Olynyk will be starting tonight against the Hornets. Both players are solid picks against a the weak interior defense of the Hornets. Olynyk has been playing well recently and should see around 25 minutes again tonight. Sullinger will resume his starting position and also has good upside. Both players are centers on DraftKings so stacking both would not be the best idea. Olynyk is the cheaper player so he does have a little more upside.

After a slow start to the season, Hayward has started to pick up the pace a bit ever since Rudy Gobert has been out with a knee injury. He has been pretty consistent over the last several weeks hitting 35FPPG on most nights and has some decent upside tonight vs. a major up-tempo game for the Jazz vs. the Warriors. The Warriors’ defense vs. SFs has been very bad since Harrison Barnes has been out giving up over 48FPPG to opposing SFs over the last 3 weeks, far more than the second highest Portland Trail Blazers. Hayward will likely be low-owned tonight because people see the Warriors defense and sometimes avoid it, and SF is fairly deep tonight so Hayward is a good option with a pretty high floor and relatively high upside.
Carmelo Anthony and Kyle O'Quinn out tonight
Carmelo Anthony and Kyle O’Quinn are struggling with ankle injuries and have been ruled out for tonight’s game. Anthony was going to be in a tough spot against LeBron James and needed the rest with Knicks playing back to back games on Saturday and Sunday night. Look for Anthony to return this weekend and make a huge impact after getting some rest.

Mo Williams looks like he will be able to give it a go tonight, but will be confirmed after warmups. Williams return puts a damper on Matthew Dellavedova’s value, and with Kyrie Irving’s return, all three will be in a timeshare. This is a tough situation to play in and is best avoided on such a large slate. Look for LeBron James to be the elite option tonight with Carmelo Anthony ruled out.
