Devin Harris to play tonight
Devin Harris will be returning to the lineup after missing one game. Harris will likely see around 20 minutes but is not much of a DFS option with Felton and Barea healthy. Harris’ return may actually cut into Wes Matthews’ time as well, so the Mavs do not provide much late-swap value with the last game of the night.

J.J. Barea to play tonight vs Hawks
J.J. Barea will return to the lineup after a six-game absence. Barea had been dealing with an injured ankle but seems to be good enough to give it a go. Barea’s return kills Raymond Felton value and potentially limits Deron Williams as well. Devin Harris is also expected back tonight so the PGs for Dallas will all eat into each others time.

Jon Leuer will continue to start for Markieff Morris and Alex Len will start for Tyson Chandler. Leuer and Len are both great mid-range priced options and should see plenty of run tonight. Leuer likely has the higher ceiling, but Mirza Teletovic will cut into some of his time. Teletovic is a solid option as well against the Magic.

Aaron Gordon will be back in the lineup tonight after missing one game with an ankle injury. His return puts a damper on Andrew Nicholson’s value due to them being in a time share behind Channing Frye. Gordon is not a great option but may get some run in an uptempo game with the Suns. Nicholson is still a decent punt play with his $4k salary on DK.

Kawhi Leonard is back in the starting lineup for the Spurs after missing one game with a stomach illness. He had a bad Philly Cheesesteak and says he is still feeling the effects. Leonard is still an elite option tonight against the Raptors due to DeMarre Carroll being out. Terrence Ross will be tasked with trying to stop Leonard.

Markieff Morris (sinus infection) and Tyson Chandler (hamstring) will miss tonight’s game against the Magic. Alex Len will get the start for Chandler and Jon Leuer will get the start for Morris. Both Len and Leuer are to be considered tonight against the Magic who are playing on the second night of a back-to-back on the road. Both players will likely be over 10% owned but provide the high upside with the mid-range price.

Ross will draw the start against the Spurs tonight with DeMarre Carroll still out. Kyle Lowry is really the only viable target on the Toronto side against a very tough Spurs defense, but Ross does have some deep GPP appeal given that he can get hot from 3PT range at any time. With DeMar DeRozan likely to have to deal with Kawhi Leonard, Ross may have a little more room to operate. This game does have a very low total (188) and the Raptors are six point underdogs.

Gerald Green starting, Luol Deng off the bench
Gerald Green will remain in the starting lineup with Luol Deng coming off the bench. Deng and Green should be avoided in what should be a low-scoring game against the Hornets. Deng’s return diminishes Justise Winslow’s value and cuts into Green’s as well. Look for Deng to only play in six to seven minute stretches while he returns from a hamstring injury.

Mbah a Moute will continue to draw the start at SF for the Clippers tonight against the Bucks. He’s not a viable DFS option even as a starter due to the number of other wing options the Clippers have available. Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan are the two elite targets on the Clippers side tonight.

We’re not quite sure if this is accurate as Taj Gibson had told Bulls beat reporters that he’d be starting, but it’s the best information we have to go on right now. It’s best to avoid this situation in cash games, but there is GPP appeal with Gibson if he ends up drawing the start. We’ll provide more information when it’s available.

Corey Brewer will be starting with Marcus Thornton being his backup. Both players are going to be chalky picks tonight in what should be a high-scoring affair. Look for Brewer to pick up the defensive stats and some 3-pointers with Thornton primarily used as a scorer off the bench. Thornton had his season-high in points last night so he is hot, but it’s tough to repeat on back-to-back nights.

Terrence Ross will likely start in the place of the injured DeMarre Carroll. This will mark Carroll’s second consecutive game missed and he is out indefinitely. Terrence Ross played well in his last start, but it was against the Lakers and should be viewed as a flash in the pan. Tonight Ross matches up with Kawhi Leonard and will have a significantly tougher task.

With Bayless and Vasquez still out, O.J. Mayo will get the start at PG, although he’ll share ballhandling duties with Giannis Antetokounmpo when the starters are on the floor. Mayo is an elite value target at under $5K on FanDuel, while Khris Middleton is probably the stronger target on DraftKings where they two basically share the same price. The Bucks will start Mayo, Middleton, Giannis, Parker and Monroe against the Clippers.

There are several value options at SF tonight because of injuries. A lot of people will be on Marcus Thornton/Corey Brewer with the announcement of Trevor Ariza being out tonight. While that could very well produce a lot of points, Mirza Teletovic has been quietly putting together a great stretch of games with the decline of Markieff Morris along with Tyson Chandler’s absence. Jon Leuer and Alex Len have also both played well in Morris and Chandler’s absences and are good plays tonight. Chandler is out again tonight and Morris is questionable, but even if Morris does play Teletovic is a good value option because of his ability to shoot. In fact, a healthy Morris played only 7 minutes last night vs. the Bulls while Teletovic played 31 minutes and went off for 33FP including 20 real life points all while sinking the game-winning three to beat the Bulls. Teletovic has been trending up lately and his price has not really reflected it. He may not be a popular pick because of other value options at SF tonight, but that makes for a great GPP play if you decide to pivot off of Thornton/Brewer.
Marc Gasol to try to play through foot and ankle injuries tonight
Gasol will try to play through foot and ankle sprains tonight against the Pistons. Andre Drummond’s match-up gets much tougher with Gasol expected to play, as he would have presumably eaten Zach Randolph and JaMychal Green (who is healthy and will play tonight) alive. Drummond is now a GPP only target. As for Gasol, he’s going to carry risk tonight due to the nagging ailments, but if he plays regular minutes he should also produce at his expected level. He’s a viable contrarian option to pivot off of a guy like Nikola Vucevic, who will carry a much higher ownership percentage.
