LaMarcus Aldridge questionable to play tonight
The Spurs star forward participated in shootaround today but is still considered questionable to play tonight against the Mavericks. He hasn’t performed up to previous seasons standards thus far and is at best a GPP dart throw, especially considering his injury situation.
As reported by: Tom Orsborn on TwitterLuol Deng out for tonight's game
As expected, Heat forward Luol Deng will sit out tonight’s game against the Pistons with a hamstring injury. He hopes to be available for Friday’s game. Gerald Green is the likely starter in his place and gets a bump in value and is in play as a punt option in GPP’s. Justise Winslow will also likely see an uptick in minutes as a result.
As reported by: Ira Winderman on TwitterGerald Green likely to start if Luol Deng sits
Green practiced with the starters at shootaround which means he would be the likely starter if Deng is unable to play tonight as expected. Green is minimum priced and is in play in GPP’s. This news also means Justise Winslow would continue to come off the bench but regardless it would not be surprising to see a slight uptick in minutes for the rookie.
As reported by: Ira Winderman on TwitterAmar'e Stoudemire out for tonight's game
The veteran forward did not travel with the team and is out for tonight’s game. His absence has minimal DFS impact other than meaning a few more minutes for Hassan Whiteside and Chris Bosh.
As reported by: Miami Heat official Twitter feedLuol Deng doubtful for tonight's game
The Miami Heat have announced that Deng is doubtful to play tonight against the Pistons. If he is unable to go, Justise Winslow and Josh Richardson would benefit the most.
As reported by: Miami Heat official Twitter feedVictor Oladipo to come off bench tonight
The Orlando Magic have announced that Oladipo will come off of the bench tonight in their game against the Knicks. The uncertainty as to how many minutes he will play makes him a questionable play tonight especially when there is a full slate of games. The starters have been announced as Payton, Fournier, Harris, Frye and Vucevic.
As reported by: John Denton on TwitterNik Stauskas to miss at least the next three games
The 76ers have announced that Nik Stauskas will not travel with the team on their three game road trip and is expected to miss at least a week. The team runs a fairly deep rotation but it should benefit Hollis Thompson and Robert Covington the most in terms of playing time and usage – both of those players, more so Covington, are excellent value plays tonight in their match up against the Celtics.
As reported by: Keith Pompey on TwitterHassan Whiteside takes part in shootaround, looks probable for tonight
The Heat big man has been battling an illness but took part in this morning’s shootaround indicating that he is likely to play tonight against the Pistons in what is expected to be a close low-scoring game. Whiteside is at best just a GPP play tonight.
As reported by: Ira Winderman on TwitterNicolas Batum takes part in morning shootaround
The Hornets forward has been battling a bug but did take part in this morning’s shootaround which is a good sign he will play tonight against the Wizards. It’s a projected close, high-scoring game, and Batum is always in play at his moderate price and ability to fill the stat sheet.
As reported by: Rick Bonnell on TwitterMatthew Dellavedova questionable for tonight
The Cavaliers back up guard has an injured ankle and is considered questionable for tonight’s game. With the return of Mo Williams, he wasn’t very relevant for DFS purposes anyway.
As reported by: Chris Haynes on TwitterMo Williams to play today
After missing several games, Mo Williams has stated he will play tonight. On such a large slate, there are better DFS options than Williams out there and this definitely impacts (negatively) the value of Matthew Dellavedova.
As reported by: Chris Haynes on TwitterDerrick Rose starting Tuesday
As we mentioned earlier, Derrick Rose will be starting tonight. Rose gets a great matchup against the weak defense of Damian Lillard. Both players are viable DFS options, with Rose providing the discount with the $6k price. Jimmy Butler loses some value with Rose’s return but should still be able to beat C.J. McCollum and hit 5x value.
As reported by: Nick Daschel on TwiterDarrell Arthur starting Tuesday
Darrell Arthur is in the starting lineup replacing Kenneth Faried and would be a late-swap play at $3,500 on DK. Arthur is a risky play going against Blake Griffin, but still makes for a great punt option with the chance of extended minutes.
As reported by: Harrison Wind on TwitterKenneth Faried out Tuesday
Kenneth Faried has been ruled out for the second consecutive game with an ankle injury. Darrell Arthur will be starting in his place and makes for a solid punt option against the Clippers. The only concern is that Blake Griffin can attack him and get Arthur into foul trouble, leading to his minutes being diminished.
As reported by: Harrison Wind on TwitterDeMarcus Cousins now listed as doubtful Wednesday
DeMarcus Cousins has a number of injuries, but his back problem has caused him to be listed as doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Bucks. The Kings have tried a handful of different lineups when Cousins’ has missed games so far this season, so it is tough to recommend any big man just yet. Rudy Gay will be leaned on as the primary scorer with Ben McLemore likely pushing the agenda as well.
