Phillip Dorsett limited in practice; questionable for Sunday
The Colts current #2 WR is dealing with an ankle injury and is considered questionable for Sunday’s early morning London game against the Jaguars. He should be able to go but if he isn’t Chester Rogers and Quan Bray would have bigger roles. However, it’s probably Dwayne Allen and Jack Doyle who would probably be the biggest beneficiaries. We’ll update the Colts inactives as soon as they come out Sunday morning.

Sammy Watkins misses another practice
After missing his third straight practice, it seems unlikely that Watkins will play this weekend against the Patriots. Robert Woods and Marquise Goodwin benefit the most from his absence but neither are viable DFS options. TE Charles Clay also receives an uptick in usage but he’s been largely ignored so is hard to trust in DFS lineups.

The Jaguars TE continues to be limited (he used a brace on his elbow today) and is a game-time decision for the Jaguars early London game against the Colts. If he is able to go, he’s an attractive DFS option against a Colts team that ranks dead last in TE DVOA. Marcedes Lewis would step in for Thomas if he can’t go and doesn’t have the same DFS appeal. We’ll keep a close eye on this situation Sunday morning heading into the game and will update you as soon as the game inactives are posted.

Williams still isn’t likely to see a huge chunk of the workload with Miami running out a four-headed RBBC. He is likely to see the biggest chunk of the carries, but that still may only end up being a 30% rate. This is still a situation to avoid as far as DFS is concerned.

Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker officially active for TNF; Tyler Eifert, Dre Kirkpatrick inactive
Landry and Parker are both active for Miami, as expected. Tyler Eifert will miss another week, but appears very close to returning and is probably a better than 50/50 bet to suit up in Week 5. Darqueze Dennard is going to start in place of Kirkpatrick.

The Cleveland Browns released a statement from Josh Gordon today in which the wide receiver said he would be entering an in-patient rehabilitation facility. The star wide receiver was expected to be reinstated on Monday, but his return to the NFL is now on hold. Both the Cleveland Plain Dealer and Akron Beacon-Journal believe Josh Gordon’s Browns career is over. Until Corey Coleman returns from his hand injury, Terrelle Pryor will be the locked-in number one receiver.

Jarvis Landry, DeVante Parker both fully expected to play tonight
Adam Schefter has reported that both receivers are fully expected to be active tonight, and that’s basically been the thought throughout the week. Landry ranks 3rd among WRs in targets and should continue to see upwards of ten looks against the Bengals this evening, but it’s worth noting that the Dolphins have one of the lowest team totals of Week 4. Parker is a viable GPP target in Thursday contests, although there are better options to pivot to in the Sunday games. If you are going to attack this game in any way, look towards either Landry or A.J. Green.

Some good and bad news for the Titans today. Wright hasn’t seen any action in 2016 yet due to a hamstring injury, but after having two full days of practice this week, he’s on track to get back on the field. Meanwhile, rookie Tajae Sharpe has developed a hamstring injury himself, which has kept him limited this week. After being hyped up most of the preseason, Sharpe hasn’t quite delivered yet. He hasn’t scored a touchdown, and he’s averaging 3.5 receptions and 40.5 yards per game the last two weeks. Kendall Wright should be able to step in and soak up targets, taking plenty from Sharpe, with the rest of the receivers struggling and Delanie Walker banged up. He’ll match up with Kareem Jackson in the slot, a corner that PFF grades at a below-average 60.6.

As of now it doesn’t seem serious and we should know more tomorrow. Jones is coming off an absolutely monster game, posting a 6/205/2 line. He’s first in the league in receiving yards with 408, over 80 yards ahead of the next player, Stefon Diggs. Stafford loves throwing to Jones deep down the field, he has nine receptions of over 20 yards, comfortably leading the NFL. He has a beautiful matchup with the Bears this weekend, but if you’re playing Thursday slates that lock, you may want to go with someone else.

After having limited involvement yesterday with a knee issue, Crowell was a full go today. Quietly, Crowell is second in the league in rushing yards and yards per attempt. Cleveland’s opponent, Washington, is allowing the fourth-most adjusted yards per carry, according to Football Outsiders. While a ton of attention will rightfully be on Terrelle Pryor, the wide receiver may see a lot of Josh Norman, severely limiting his upside. Duke Johnson, the passing down back, steals some touches from Crowell, but has yet to have a red zone rush. Crowell, on the other hand, gets 31.25% of the workload inside the 20. At $4,400 on DraftKings, he’s averaging over 3.5-times value, scoring 16.2 points per game. Game flow may be a problem, as the Browns are 7.5-point underdogs, but he’s an interesting GPP pivot in a week when a ton of people will be on Pryor. Football Outsiders ranks the Redskins dead last in rush defense.

All three players were limited in Thursday’s practice, and while Gronkowski is expected to play, the QB situation is still in flux. Gronk is a very solid GPP target this weekend after posting a bagel in his season debut a week ago. His upside will still be limited to a degree until Tom Brady returns. We should have a better idea as to who will start at QB for the Patriots tomorrow, so we’ll update this situation accordingly. At this point we’d expect Garoppolo to get the nod.

The Steelers wide receiver is dealing with turf toe and there is a good chance he’ll miss this weekend’s game with the Chiefs. If he does sit out, Sammie Coates will pick up some extra targets and becomes an intriguing boom-or-bust GPP option this week. Coates leads the league in yards per reception (29.0). Although he has four receptions of over 20 yards Coates hasn’t converted any big plays into touchdowns yet. He’s only $3,600 on DraftKings and many people will be scared off by the strong Chiefs pass defense. However, he and Brown both split time between the right and left sides, meaning he should get a healthy dose of Phillip Gaines, who Pro Football Focus grades at a very low 44.3.

He was limited yesterday with a knee issue and now his hamstring is bothering him as well. Jeffery missed practice last Thursday due to the knee, yet managed to play against the Cowboys, hauling in five receptions for 70 yards. While he leads the team in receiving yards, he is actually second in targets to Kevin White and hasn’t scored a touchdown. White has a great matchup this week with Lions corner Nevin Lawson, who Pro Football Focus grades at a very poor 44.5, one of the worst scores in the league. If Hoyer starts, White may be a nice pivot play off Jeffery as he targeted White 14 times against the Cowboys, doubling Alshon’s total.

Russell Wilson has said he has “no doubt” that he’ll be the Seahawks starting QB on Sunday in New York. Reports on Wilson throughout the week have been positive after a scary looking injury against the 49ers this past weekend, and while he’s clearly still dealing with some soreness at best, he’s back on the DFS radar. This isn’t a situation you’ll want to target in cash games, but there is GPP value to be had here.

Willie Snead participated in the open portion of Thursday’s practice, and after also participating yesterday, he appears on track to play Sunday against the Chargers. Michael Thomas and Brandon Coleman will be best left untouched for DFS purposes assuming Snead is active, as they are clearly behind Brandin Cooks, Coby Fleener and Snead in the pecking order.
