CLE WR Michael Woods (illness) returned to practice Thursday.
We have not seen him doing much since he went out in the preseason, but the Browns thought enough of him to keep him through final cuts and on the active roster anyway. His role should be small at first, but it will be interesting to see how high he climbs on a thin depth chart.

CIN WR Tee Higgins did not practice Thursday (personal reasons, not concussion related).
This is an important distinction, since a setback in the protocol would be a totally different story than him missing for something not injury related. We still would like to see him at practice tomorrow for him to be considered on pace to return this weekend.

The Packers desperately need him back, as Aaron Rodgers had to suffer through young players dropping wide open bombs and other irregularities last weekend. HIs top target would be a big help.

This is a bad start for two of the stars from the Titans Week 1 game, at least from a fantasy perspective. Absences for either carry ramifications for the short slates and big dollar contests Monday.

We’re still not sweating. We’ll raise our eyebrow just a little higher if he is unable to participate Friday, but for now we’re taking his word for it that he’s fine.

The move is suspicious in terms of Williams availability for Sunday, and a pair of DNPs to start the week is equally as ominous. We’ll get a better idea with his game status tomorrow, but we’re not expecting the best.

As expected. Coach Carroll said he’d be back this week, and this is a rare instance of his coach speak coming to fruition.

Josh Jacobs held a shocking monopoly on the RB usage Sunday, and Bolden was one of the other cameo appearances from what was previously expected to be a wide committee. His absence would strengthen confidence in Jacobs, though it is the way of Patriots disciples to keep their game plan variant game to game.
ARI WR Rondale Moore (hamstring) and WR Andy Isabella (back) did not practice Wednesday.
Greg Dortch was a target magnet in Sunday’s loss, though the per catch production was light. This is basically what to expect from him as the Cardinals continue to operate short handed at the position, and he’s a diminutive slot archetype you’d expect to operate with this kind of profile.

Cordarrelle Patterson was forced to handle most of the rushing when he went down Sunday, though a full game absence could yield an appearance from rookie grinder Tyler Allgeier. Williams will need to practice by Friday to erase any doubt of his availability.
