As reported by: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Other tagged players: Codey McElroyTBB RB Leonard Fournette will not be activated from IR for Sunday
Leonard Fournette will not be activated from IR for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. With Fournette out, the Tampa Bay backfield will once again be led by Ke’Shawn Vaughn with Giovani Bernard and Le’Veon Bell available to back him up. Vaughn should handle most of the rushing work with Bernard and Bell available to mix in on passing downs. Vaughn now projects as one of the better plays on the slate and offers a value option at the running back position. It is worth noting that this is Bernard’s first game back from IR and the extent of his availability is unknown. Vaughn can be considered in most DFS formats.
As reported by: Jenna LaineLVR TE Nick Bowers inactive Saturday
Nick Bowers will be inactive for Saturday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Bowers was expected to serve as tight end depth but will not be needed this weekend. His absence doesn’t figure to be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Las Vegas RaidersCIN WR Trenton Irwin and WR Stanley Morgan inactive Saturday
Trenton Irwin and WR Stanley Morgan inactive for Saturday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders. Irwin and Morgan were both expected to serve as receiver depth and their absences should not be DFS relevant.

TBB RB Giovani Bernard has been activated to the 53-man roster from IR ahead of Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Bernard should slot back in as the third running back behind Leonard Fournette (if available) and Ke’Shauwn Vaughn. At this time Bernard is not expected to see enough work to be considered in DFS contests.
As reported by: Tom PelisseroPIT WR JuJu Smith-Schuster activated to 53-man roster from IR and expected to play Sunday
JuJu Smith-Schuster activated to 53-man roster from IR and expected to play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs, though he will likely be on a snap-count. JuJu has made incredible progress with his injury and will be able to suit up Sunday, but it remains to be seen how much he actually plays. He will likely be the third or fourth receiver behind Diontae Johnson, Chase Claypool, and possibly Ray-Ray McCloud. Playing JuJu in DFS contests would be a risk due to his expected limitations but he has the potential to score well even in limited action.
As reported by: Ian RapoportPIT RB Najee Harris removed from injury report, will play Sunday
Najee Harris has been removed from the injury report and will play Sunday against the Kansas City Chiefs. There was never much concern over Harris’s injury seeing as how he was able to return to the game he suffered it in, but now there is no doubt about his status for this weekend. Harris should be in line to see his usual hefty workload as the Steelers three down back, with Benny Snell and Kalen Ballage available to back him up if necessary. Harris can be considered in DFS contests as he is one of the focal points of the Pittsburgh offense.
As reported by: Brooke PryorLAR RB Buddy Howell (hamstring) DNP Friday
Buddy Howell (hamstring) logged a DNP Friday ahead of the Rams Monday night matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Howell is expected to serve as running back depth and his absence would not be DFS relevant, even on the showdown slate. The Rams backfield should be led by Sony Michel with Cam Akers (who is still working himself back into game shape) mixing in.
As reported by: Darren UrbanARI RB James Conner (ribs) and RB Jonathan Ward (knee) DNP Friday
James Conner (ribs) and Jonathan Ward (knee) both logged DNPs Friday ahead of the Cardinals first round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams on Monday. t’s not surprising that both Conner and Ward were held out after HC Kliff Kingsbury stated that he expects both backs to be game-time decisions on Monday. Conner would be expected to split time with Chase Edmonds if he is available, limiting both players upside. If Conner were to be ruled out, Chase Edmonds would see most of the running back snaps with Eno Benjamin and Jonathan Ward (if available) backing him up. Edmonds would be one of the top plays on the showdown slate as he has proven to be a capable lead back when Conner has missed time, even in a tougher matchup against the Rams defense. It will be important to monitor the practice status of Conner as the week progresses but we will likely not know anything certain until inactives are released Monday night.
As reported by: Darren Urban Other tagged players: Jonathan WardNEP WR Kristian Wilkerson elevated from practice squad for Saturday
Kristian Wilkerson has been elevated from the practice squad for Saturday’s first round matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Wilkerson is expected to serve as receiver depth at this time, but did have a big game a couple weeks ago when Nelson Agholor was out due to a concussion and N’Keal Harry was healthy scratched. If Harry is scratched again, Wilkerson would assume his role as the fourth receiver in the offense but would still likely not be DFS relevant.
As reported by: Field YatesTBB WR Justin Watson (quad) listed questionable for Sunday
Justin Watson (quad) has been listed questionable for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Even with the receiving corps of the Buccaneers depleted, Watson is only expected to serve as receiver depth and should not be considered in DFS contests at this time.
As reported by: Jenna LainePIT RB Najee Harris (elbow) listed questionable for Sunday
Najee Harris (elbow) has been listed questionable for Sunday’s first round matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Harris was able to log a full practice Friday after not practicing Wednesday or Thursday. The belief is that Harris should be good to go by Sunday and is expected to see his full workload. If he is unable to go for some reason, Benny Snell and Kalen Ballage will likely split the backfield work with Anthony McFarland also available to mix in. Snell would be expected to see the majority of the work and would be considered the better DFS play strictly from an expected volume perspective. Harris should be fine for Sunday but it will be important to check inactives when they are released 90 minutes prior to kickoff to ensure his availability.
As reported by: Ryan FittipaldoKCC RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire ruled out for Sunday; RB Darrel Williams listed questionable but expected to play
Clyde Edwards-Helaire has been ruled out for Sunday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After returning to practice Wednesday and then logging two DNPs due to his shoulder injury, CEH will be unable to suit up for this weekend’s game. With CEH ruled out, Darrel Williams is expected to once again lead the backfield and will need to be considered in DFS contests. Williams is dealing with a toe injury but is expected to play this week and see his full workload. Williams has impressed in previous weeks when given the opportunity to lead the backfield for the Chiefs and has played a significant role in the passing game. Williams would be backed up by Derrick Gore and Jerrick McKinnon but neither would be expected to play a large enough role to be worth considering in DFS.
