Pierre Garcon is active Sunday despite shoulder and knee issues, as expected. Look for the 49ers to have their full compliment of receiving options available against the Rams, in a game they are likely to be playing catch up against a high powered offense.
Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder) will play Sunday, as expected
Adrian Peterson (ankle, shoulder) will play Sunday, as expected. With Chris Thompson not expected to suit up, look for Peterson to handle the early down rushing work for the Redskins, with Kapri Bibbs filling in as the change of pace back.
Isaiah Crowell (foot) active Sunday
Isaiah Crowell (foot) is active Sunday for the Jets week 7 matchup with the Vikings. Expect for Crowell to at least see his normal workload, if not possibly a few more carries than usual as the Jets may lean heavier on the run due to the windy conditions at the stadium Sunday.
Ameer Abdullah active Sunday
Ameer Abdullah is active Sunday for the Lions and will serve as a third running back option behind Kerryon Johnson and Legarrette Blount. Abdullah being active is notable because fellow Lions RB Theo Riddick is inactive, and Kerryon Johnson figures to be a somewhat popular play this weekend. Though Abdullah won’t step into Riddick’s role, he may cut into the expected workload of Johnson and Blount for the Lions, who appear to be set on employing a committee approach out of the backfield.
Josh Gordon (hamstring), Sony Michel (knee) and Julian Edelman (heel) all active Sunday, as expected
Per the earlier report, Josh Gordon (hamstring), Sony Michel (knee) and Julian Edelman (heel) are all active Sunday, as expected. Look for Gordon and Edelman to see a few additional targets in the absence of tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Per the earlier report, Allen Robinson (groin) is active Sunday, as expected. Look for Robinson to be one of the most heavily targeted Bears pass catchers along with Taylor Gabriel and Trey Burton.
DeVante Parker (quad) inactive Sunday
DeVante Parker is inactive again Sunday due to a quad injury. Parker has had an injury plagued season thus far, suiting up only twice for the Dolphins so far. His absence has little to no impact on the Dolphins offensive unit as a whole, as Parker has seen limited targets even during the two weeks he was active.
Carlos Hyde inactive Sunday
Though there were initial reports that Carlos Hyde has a chance of seeing the field Sunday, he has been ruled inactive for Jacksoville’s Week 7 contest against the Texans. Hyde simply needs more time to acclimate to the Jags playbook. In his absence, look for T.J. Yeldon to once again lead the Jags rushing attack with Jamaal Charles serving as the change-of-pace back.
An Under the Radar Affordable QB
Per the FanShare Buzz Tool on LHQ, Matthew Stafford is one of the least discussed QBs across the DFS industry this week despite leading a team with a 24.75 team total and being priced fairly cheaply across the various DFS sites. It is worth noting that the Dolphins allow QBs to complete 68% of their passes and also allow 8.8 yards per passing attempt, both of which should provide Stafford with a high floor in this week 7 matchup. The Lions lack of an established run game also raises Stafford’s floor each week, and at minimal ownership he makes for an interesting GPP option when stacked with one or multiple of his wide receivers.
Rob Gronkowski (back) OUT Sunday, as expected
Per yesterday’s reports that Rob Gronkowski did not travel with the team to Chicago, he is officially out Sunday due to a back injury. Look for Dwayne Allen to get the majority of the reps at TE for the Patriots with Jacob Hollister out as well. Gronk’s absence should funnel a few more targets to Josh Gordon, Julian Edelman and Chris Hogan, and also serves as a slight boost to the rushing attack as Allen is a stronger blocker.
A Top Tier Workload at a Mid Tier Price
Per the FanShare Buzz Tool in LHQ, virtually no one around the DFS industry is talking about Latavius Murray this week despite coming off of a huge week 6 where he rushed for 155 yards and a TD against the Cardinals, and Dalvin Cook once again being inactive. This is largely due to the RB value that has emerged in Cleveland after the trading of Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville, as well as Murray being priced close to popular mid tier option Tarik Cohen. That said, Murray figures to be locked into a more certain workload than any of those options at a fraction of the ownership. He also faces a Jets team that has allowed at least 92 yards rushing in five consecutive games. Murray makes for an interesting GPP play this week at low ownership, as he seems to be being overlooked in favor of the “new” value that week 7 has brought.
Travis Benjamin (foot) active Sunday
Travis Benjamin is active Sunday for the first time since re-aggravating his foot injury week 4. Benjamin himself isn’t a viable play given his uncertain target share coming off of injury, but his presence does limit the ceiling of Mike Williams, who played significantly more snaps than usual when Benjamin was inactive.
Chargers K Caleb Sturgis (quad) inactive Sunday, Michael Badgley to kick
Chargers K Caleb Sturgis is inactive Sunday due to a quad injury, and MIchael Badgley will kick for the team in Sturgis’s absence.
Chargers’ RB Melvin Gordon INACTIVE Sunday
Chargers’ RB Melvin Gordon is inactive Sunday due to a hamstring injury. His status was brought into serious doubt yesterday as his questionable listing came so late in the week with the team traveling to London for week 7. His absence won’t have a significant impact on the DFS landscape due to the game not being on most slates due to the 9:30 AM start time, but look for Austin Ekeler to become the workhorse back for the Chargers in Gordon’s absence.
Mohamed Sanu (hip) will play Monday
As expected, Mohamed Sanu will play Monday night despite his hip injury. Look for the Falcons passing attack to be at full strength against the Giants on Monday night, and to be leaned on as heavily as always in the absence of Devonta Freeman.
