For each segment, the Fantastic Four will include my top 4 pitchers for tournaments on FanDuel and DraftKings. They’ll sometimes include plays picking up ownership if I feel like the rostership still doesn’t reflect their upside. Typically, if there is a cash game lock and someone who is pushing 50% rostered, these pitchers won’t get mentioned. However, sometimes on smaller slates, four pitchers won’t be an option.
The Fantastic Four – Best MLB DFS Picks

Although the likes of Lucas Giolito and Blake Snell project as the best plays on the board tonight, this also leads to the field gravitating towards these players. However, I see tonight as a large bucket of pitchers with incredibly similar chances at finishing as the top hero tonight, while the top offenses are clear.
Chris Bassitt 9800 FD / 8700 DK – Bassitt’s price differs quite aggressively from site to site tonight. Despite this, I like him on both DK and Fanduel for different reasons. His DraftKings price is far too low, and this presents him as my top pitching option on the board. On Fanduel, the price isn’t quite as nice, however, he comes in at incredibly low ownership, with a great matchup, in a fantastic park. Bassitt had a quick stint on the Covid-IL, however, he should be back in full force ready to go after his short detour.
Aaron Ashby 6800 FD / 7400 DK – Ashby is the biggest risk-reward option on the slate. He’s being rostered by the field more than I would like, but he’s also the only cheap option on Fanduel. 6800 for a player with his strikeout ability is far too low, and as the cheapest pitcher on the board, he’s nothing if not tempting. He will probably be a little bit overplayed, however, he also has immense upside for his low price.
Zack Wheeler 10200 FD / 10000 DK – With the top projected pitchers falling in the mid-tier tonight, we’re seeing a smaller percentage of the field landing on the expensive pitchers. Due to this, I want to fire up Zack Wheeler. Although it’s not the easiest matchup, Wheeler has shown he can be dominant regardless of who he is facing. The back half of the Cardinals lineup doesn’t pose much of a threat, and Wheeler has slate-breaking potential tonight.
Charlie Morton 10000 FD / 9200 DK – Another high-priced pitcher going underplayed with a lot of potential tonight. Morton started the season looking like he may be washed, but is finally back to himself. He has struck out at least 8 batters in 6 of his last 7 games. With players like Giolito and Snell priced just below and projected higher, Morton will be overlooked tonight, but he shouldn’t be.
Earth’s Mightiest MLB DFS Stacks For Today

New York Yankees – The Yankees, and most of tonight’s stack choices in general won’t be at all sneaky. On a large slate, we aren’t seeing aggressive rostership flowing to any one team, allowing us to target the best options (especially if we are going sneaky at pitcher). The Yankees face off against a young pitcher in Fenway and project as the top offense on the board. Anthony Rizzo is the top option against the young righty, however, this entire offense top to bottom looks great, and Gallo is one of my top salary-saving options on the board.
Atlanta Braves – The Braves are second on my list tonight, and although they disappointed me yesterday I’m going back to the well tonight. Eric Fedde has put some strong games together this season but should struggle as a low-strikeout pitcher against a high-powered offense like the Braves. Ronald Acuna is my favorite pay-up option of the day, and getting both Olson and Rizzo in the same lineup will be a priority for me on FD.
Los Angeles Dodgers – The Dodgers rank a distant third on my board, but are never a team you can turn your back on. Max Muncy remains ridiculously under-priced on FD and is difficult to avoid at an ugly second-base position. Interestingly enough, I actually like him better as a one-off as opposed to in Dodger stacks. Most people stacking the Dodgers tonight will likely have Muncy in their grouping, while swapping off him to Gavin Lux provides a nice way to get different with one of the night’s top stacks.
