Congratulations to pwnasaurus who runs away with it at the end to win the FBWC and one million dollars! James Harden led the way for his team with a 60.75 fpt game but it was huge nights from Patrick Beverley (45.75 fpts at 8% ownership) and C.J. McCollum (43.75 fpts at 13% ownership) that really set his lineup apart from the others. Underjones had a late surge and finished in second place while recent $5 million dollar winner aejones moved all the way up to a third place tie with bkbohn21. Rotomania and EmpireMaker2 would tie for fifth and Assani would tie himself for ninth. Here’s a look at the final ten and the winning lineup of pwnasaurus.

Pwnasaurus has taken the lead based on some Nowitzki and Draymond goodness and he’s starting to run away with it as he is 17 points up on the one player, underjones, who has any legitimate shot at catching him. Underjones has Curry and Barnes in addition to Nowitzki left.

Every game except the Golden State-Dallas game is final now and bkbohn21 got a few insurance points when Jrue Holiday hit a late three and then C.J. McCollum sealed the game for the Blazers with two free throws. Will it be enough to hold off pwnasaurus (lineup below) though? It’s coming down to the wire!

Bkbohn21 behind big games from C.J. McCollum and Patrick Beverley has taken the lead with just one minute left in the Portland-New Orleans game and the conclusion of the Golden State-Dallas game left. Pwnasaurus is right on his heels though with Dirk Nowitzki and Draymond Green left in the last game.

What’s that you say? Anthony Davis hurt on the evening of a live final? Won’t return to the game? SHOCKING, I say… SHOCKING!

Only three games are still in action – the Portland-New Orleans game and Houston-Minnesota games are both midway through the 4th quarter while the Golden State-Dallas game is in the third quarter. It’s going to come down to the wire for sure. Currently it’s 00oreo00 holding a slim lead over Shawnzhan but his position is precarious because of his PMR remaining compared to others nearby including Rotomania who seems to always find his way to these live finals.

And we have our first lead change of the night as eppy12588 has taken the lead with his Oladipo and Kevin Durant led lineup. He still has a few players still on the court including Damian Lillard who is at 38.25 fpts with five minutes remaining in the third quarter. Shawnzhan is now in second while bkbohn21 looks like a strong threat in fifth place and 89 PMR remaining, the most of anyone in the top 10. Assani is in ninth place with 81 PMR.

Things are tightening up and it appears Shawnzhan will lose the lead he’s held the entire night at any moment now. He still holds the top spot but the likes of Rotomania, 00oreo00, papagates, EmpireMaker2, and RotoGrinders contributor Assani are all lurking very nearby.

Shawnzhan continues to lead with his Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams (who is at 30+ fpts at the end of the 3rd quarter) led lineup but a look at the top 10 shows some of the best lurking with significant PMR left in their lineups including SaahilSud in 9th place, ChipotleAddict in 10th place, and Kobe4MVP in 7th place.

Lineups are all now complete as the last game is set to get underway. Here’s a look at some ownership percentages from that game – a bunch in the mid 20 percent range but nothing unexpected other than perhaps Klay Thompson at just 2.0% ownership.

Some more ownership percentages – these from the 8:00 pm start times. Yet another chalk play in Mason Plumlee (with Meyers Leonard out and going against the Pelicans) at 55.0% ownership. Lillard at only 8.0% is a bit surprising.

Let’s take our first look at the standings and if you don’t have Victor Oladipo tonight (sitting currently at 34.5 fpts with three minutes left in the first half), then you’re probably not going to be winning a million dollars. Oladipo is only in five lineups though, so I could be wrong about that. On the flip side, the nearly 60% that rostered both Enes Kanter and Brandon Jennings are probably wishing they hadn’t, especially those with Jennings who only has 3fpts at the time of this post.

The current leader is Shawnzhan who is one of the five players that has Oladipo in their lineup. Unfortunately for him he also has the aforementioned Kanter and Jennings so it’ll probably be tough for him to hold onto that lead unless those two can turn it around in the second half.

Here’s a look at some early ownership percentages for players in the games that have already started. It’s not surprising to see huge ownership numbers for Brandon Jennings, Enes Kanter, and Bismack Biyombo who are all in plus spots and provide value due to some injuries. There are also some surprisingly low-owned superstars like Russell Westbrook at 9.0% and Kevin Durant at 5.0%. The one person that took Cory Joseph is rooting for a Kyle Lowry scratch, I’m sure.
