This game is a rematch from their first encounter a month ago (also in Dallas), which the Stars won 4-3 in overtime. A similar result could be expected tonight with the Stars as a fairly large favorite. Dallas leads the league (by a wide margin) for goal scoring on home ice at 3.64 goals per game, they are a team to target most nights due to their dynamic offense, and especially when playing at home. The line of Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn and Patrick Sharp is as good as any in the league this year, and they are a top tournament stack option (although very expensive). On the power play, Jason Spezza and John Klingberg join the top unit, making the Stars’ power play elite. For cash game lineups, one or more Stars players could be included.
Vancouver is largely a one-line team also with Henrik Sedin, Daniel Sedin, and (new addition) Jannik Hansen leading the way in scoring. They are not a team that is regularly stacked, but when they do score a few goals, the top line is usually involved, and the Stars are not a defensive juggernaut.

Secondary Plays

The final game of the night between Calgary and Arizona won’t get much attention from daily fantasy hockey players today, but it is very GPP relevant. Calgary ranks dead last in goals against and Arizona is not far behind them. This could very well be a shootout in the wild wild west.
The top lines for both teams could be stacked for tournaments, and several defensemen are also good targets as well. For Calgary, we saw last year what the line of Johnny Gaudreau, Sean Monahan and Jiri Hudler could do, and they are due to have an explosive game this season. With the Coyotes, numerous players could be targeted as part of stacks or one-off players in tournaments, including Max Domi, Anthony Duclair, Tobias Rieder, Mikkel Boedker and Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
