Dwight Howard (hip) listed available to play Sunday

Dwight Howard (hip) has been listed available to play Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans. Howard should play a role tonight for the Lakers as the Pelicans like to run with a larger lineup than most. Howard will likely get the start at the center position and could play somewhere in the range of 10-15 minutes as the Lakers usually elect to play small when possible. Right now, Dwight is not worth consideration in DFS contests.

Pelicans will start McCollum, Jones, Ingram, Hayes, Valanciunas on Sunday. Despite being listed on the injury report earlier in the day McCollum, Ingram, and Valanciunas will all start. CJ McCollum (ankle), Jonas Valanciunas (foot), and Brandon Ingram (hamstring) all available to play Sunday

CJ McCollum (ankle), Jonas Valanciunas (foot), and Brandon Ingram (hamstring) will all be available to play Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers despite being listed on the injury report earlier in the day. McCollum and Valanciunas should both remain in their usual roles and see their usual minutes but Brandon Ingram is expected to be on some sort of minutes restriction. This hurts his value but he is still underpriced on DK and should be considered on that site. This is an important game for both the Lakers and Pelicans in regards to play-in seeding so expect it to stay competitive possibly leading to starters seeing increased run.

Hassan Whiteside (foot) ruled out Sunday

Hassan Whiteside (foot) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks. With Whiteside ruled out Juancho Hernangomez and Eric Paschall should cover the big man minutes behind Rudy Gobert. LeBron James (knee) and Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) available to play Sunday

LeBron James (knee) and Talen Horton-Tucker (ankle) will be available to play Sunday against the New Orleans Pelicans according to HC Frank Vogel. LeBron should see a ton of minutes in a very important game for play-in seeding for both teams. LeBron should be considered as a spend up option on tonight’s slate and will likely shoulder most of the offensive load for the Lakers. THT should remain in his role off the bench and is currently priced too high on DK in his current role. It is also worth noting that Dwight Howard remains questionable and will be a game-time decision.

Toronto Raptors
3/27/22, 5:25 PM ET

Brandon Ingram "likely" to play Sunday, would be on a minutes restriction; CJ McCollum and Jonas Valanciunas are game-time decisions; Larry Nance Jr. (knee) ruled out

Brandon Ingram is “likely” to play Sunday but would be on a minutes restriction, while CJ McCollum and Jonas Valanciunas are both game-time decisions. Larry Nance Jr. (knee) has been ruled out. Ingram will look to make his return today after missing the last 10 games due to a hamstring injury. Ingram will likely slot back into the starting lineup sending Devonte’ Graham back to his bench role. Ingram will be on some type of minutes restriction if he does suit up but no further information was given. Ingram will command a sizeable chunk of the usage for the Pelicans limiting the upside of both Jonas Valanciunas and C.J. McCollum (if available). If McCollum were to be ruled out, Devonte’ Graham would likely remain in the starting lineup and should continue to see an uptick in minutes. if Valanciunas were to miss, Jaxson Hayes and Willy Hernangomez would be forced to handle the bulk of the center minutes. This game is important for play-in seeding and will likely remain competitive with both teams giving their starters full run barring a blowout.

Both can be considered tonight in DFS contests at their respective price points.
