Julius Randle

Brooklyn Nets
3/27/22, 3:01 PM ET

Julius Randle (quad) will start Sunday; Knicks will start Burks, Fournier, Barrett, Randle, Robinson

Julius Randle (quad) will be available and start Sunday against the Detroit Pistons. As reported earlier, Mitchell Robinson will return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench last game. Randle should be in line to play his normal role and minutes as the Knicks primary offensive weapon. His return will move Obi Toppin back to his bench role and will tremendously hurt his value. Both Randle and Robinson can be considered on today’s showdown slate.

Julius Randle (quad) will be a game-time decision Sunday; Mitchell Robinson expected to start per HC Tom Thibodeau

Julius Randle (quad) will be a game-time decision Sunday and Mitchell Robinson is expected to start per HC Tom Thibodeau. This seems to be the closest Randle has been to playing over the course of the last few games and the Knicks will elect to take the decision all the way up to game time. If Randle is ruled out, Obi Toppin would likely draw the start and would be a tremendous value play on the showdown slate. Mitchell Robinson was a late active last game and played off the bench behind Jericho Sims. With Robinson seemingly fully healthy he will return to his role as the starter.

Brandon Ingram

Toronto Raptors
3/27/22, 1:55 PM ET

Brandon Ingram (hamstring) probable Sunday; CJ McCollum (ankle) and Jonas Valanciunas (foot) listed questionable; Larry Nance Jr. (knee) listed doubtful

Brandon Ingram (hamstring) is probable for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. Ingram will look to make his return today after missing the last 10 games due to a hamstring injury. Ingram will likely slot back into the starting lineup sending Devonte’ Graham back to his bench role. As of now, there has been no mention of a minutes limit for Ingram but we are still a decent amount of time away from tipoff so this could change. Ingram will command a sizeable chunk of the usage for the Pelicans limiting the upside of both Jonas Valanciunas and C.J. McCollum (if available). If McCollum were to be ruled out, Devonte’ Graham would likely remain in the starting lineup and should continue to see an uptick in minutes. if Valanciunas were to miss, Jaxson Hayes and Willy Hernangomez would be forced to handle the bulk of the center minutes. This game is important for play-in seeding and will likely remain competitive with both teams giving their starters full run barring a blowout.

Seth Curry

Golden State Warriors
3/27/22, 1:56 PM ET

Seth Curry (ankle) questionable Sunday; Goran Dragic (knee) probable; LaMarcus Aldridge (hip) not listed on injury report

Seth Curry (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, while Goran Dragic (knee) is probable. If Curry were to be ruled out, both Dragic and Patty Mills would be considered for the starting lineup as well as taking on increased roles in the offense. Cam Thomas and Kessler Edwards would also be candidates to enter the rotation to soak up any remaining minutes leftover. LaMarcus Aldridge was not listed on the injury report meaning that he could be ready to return tonight for Brooklyn. He would likely be limited and remain in a role off the bench behind Andre Drummond.

Quentin Grimes

Los Angeles Lakers
3/27/22, 12:18 PM ET

Quentin Grimes (knee) ruled out Sunday

Quentin Grimes (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Pistons. Grimes was expected to see some backup wing minutes off the bench and not necessarily play a major role for New York today. In his absence miles McBride and Obi Toppin could see a few more minutes with the possibility of Ryan Arcidiacono entering the rotation. It is worth mentioning that Julius Randle is still currently listed questionable and his status could drastically alter the showdown slate, so stay tuned.

Blazers will start Williams, Johnson, Elleby, Watford, Eubanks on Saturday. Portland will elect to run with the same lineup as they did last night and players should be expected to see similar run. Rockets will start Porter Jr., Green, Mathews, Tate, Wood on Saturday

3/26/22, 9:37 PM ET

Rockets will start Porter Jr., Green, Mathews, Tate, Wood on Saturday. As expected, Garrison Matthews will draw the start for the resting Eric Gordon. Matthews is expected to play a decent chunk of minutes but not see full starter run. Both Josh Christopher and Daishen Nix should see the remaining minutes vacated by Gordon. Matthews is worth consideration as a value play at just 3.2K on DK if that much salary saving is needed.

Lineup Update: Thunder will start Maledon, Mann, Pokusevki, Bazley, Roby on Saturday

3/26/22, 9:09 PM ET

Lineup Update: Thunder will start Maledon, Mann, Pokusevki, Bazley, Roby on Saturday. The Thunder once again waited until after lock to release their lineup which of course has some unforeseen changes to it. Aaron Wiggins will be relegated to the bench while Aleskej Pokusevski and Theo Maledon will enter the starting lineup with SGA ruled out earlier in the day. The game has already locked so there are no changes that can be made by DFS players but Maledon and Pokusevski should play larger roles while Aaron Wiggins likely will see his minutes decreased.

Bucks will start Hill, Allen, Middleton, Giannis, Lopez on Saturday

3/26/22, 7:46 PM ET

Bucks will start Hill, Allen, Middleton, Giannis, Lopez on Saturday. With Jrue Holiday out and Khris Middleton and Giannis back George Hill will draw the start at point guard. Hill has an extremely poor FPPM rate and even though he is projected to see a decent chunk of minutes projects poorly. He will not be worth considering in DFS contests tonight despite drawing the start.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Oklahoma City Thunder
3/26/22, 7:49 PM ET

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) ruled out Saturday

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) ruled out for Saturday’s game against the Denver Nuggets. With SGA ruled out, Aleksej Pokusevski seems to be the most likely candidate to join the starting lineup for the Thunder but they have been known to switch up their lineups daily. The Thunder will have nine available players so they should all see a decent amount of run. It will be interesting to see where SGA’s usage goes but the top candidates are Aleksej Pokusevski, Tre Mann, and Darius Bazley.

Lineup Update: Bulls will start Dosunmu, Caruso, LaVine, DeRozan, Vucevic on Saturday

3/26/22, 7:37 PM ET

Lineup Update: Bulls will start Dosunmu, Caruso, LaVine, DeRozan, Vucevic on Saturday. Ayo Dosunmu will get the start over Javonte Green against the Cavaliers as they look to defend Darius Garland. Dosunmu was tasked with this assignment in their last matchup and will get the nod once again. This will mean a few more minutes for Ayo and should increase his expected production making him a better play.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will play Saturday

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will play Saturday against the Memphis Grizzlies despite being listed as questionable coming into the day. Giannis should start and see his usual run with a slight increase in expected production due to Jrue Holiday’s absence. Giannis can be considered as a spend up option tonight as he has the potential to break any slate.

Lineup Update: Cavs will start Garland, Okoro, LeVert, Markkanen, Mobley on Saturday

3/26/22, 7:28 PM ET

Lineup Update: Cavs will start Garland, Okoro, LeVert, Markkanen, Mobley on Saturday. Caris LeVert will draw the start tonight sending Kevin Love back to the second unit. Earlier in the day it was reported that LeVert would no longer be under a minutes restriction so he should be ready to see full starter run in an important game for the Cavaliers tonight. This game should remain competitive meaning starters could see longer run than normal.

Pacers will start Haliburton, Hield, Anderson, Brissett, Smith on Saturday

3/26/22, 7:18 PM ET

Pacers will start Haliburton, Hield, Anderson, Brissett, Smith on Saturday. Jalen Smith will get the start at center for the Pacers, who are extremely shorthanded with 8 available players. Smith should see a decent increase in minutes as well as expected production and can be considered as a lower midrange option on tonight’s slate. Terry Taylor will likely see the backup center minutes and projects as a decent value option.
