Fred VanVleet (knee) will start Saturday despite HC Nick Nurse saying that it was looking unlikely for him to suit up tonight. With VanVleet and Siakam available, the Raptors will run a close to normal starting lineup and have Dalano Blanton and Malachi Flynn available as bench guards.

Brandon Goodwin will start Saturday for Cavs
Brandon Goodwin will start Saturday for the Cavs against the Washington Wizards. The cavaliers are severely limited on ballhandlers tonight and Goodwin should see a large amount of run. He is one of the top plays on the slate and can be considered in all DFS contests at just 4.2K on DK.

George Hill (neck) has been ruled out for Saturday’s contest against the Brooklyn Nets as well as for at least another week according to HC Mike Budenholzer. With Hill out, Jevon Carter could soak up the available bench guard minutes.

Kevin Knox (illness) will be available to play Saturday against the Toronto Raptors. Knox should be in line to see some back end of the rotation minutes for Atlanta and does not need to be considered for DFS contests.

Pascal Siakam (illness) will play Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks, while Fred VanVleet (knee) is unlikely to play. With Fred VanVleet the Raptors will potntially go bigger adding Chris Boucher to the starting lineup and having the other starters (aside from Birch) slide up a position. Dalano Blanton and Malachi Flynn should see increased guard run off the bench for the Raptors. Siakam, Scottie Barnes, and Gary Trent should play a larger role in the offense with FVV sidelined.

De’Andre Hunter (illness) will be available to play Saturday against the Toronto Raptors after being forced out of last game due to an illness. Hunter should be in line to start and play his normal minutes in the low 30s. Hunter is priced pretty fairly on DK today and can be considered in DFS contests.

Dejounte Murray (knee), Jakob Poeltl (back), and Keldon Johnson (back) have all been listed out Saturday ahead of the Spurs matchup against the Miami Heat, while Josh Primo, Josh Richardson, and Romeo Langford have all been listed as questionable. The Spurs will give multiple players rest after a double overtime game last night. With Murray out, Tre Jones or Lonnie Walker could get the start at point guard though both should see increased run with San Antonio shorthanded. Jock Landale should get the start at center and play the bulk of the minutes with Devontae Cacok available to back him up off the bench. It is worth noting that Zach Collins was ruled out last night by HC Gregg Popovich but he does not appear listed on the injury report. San Antonio beat writers speculate that he will be active but not play. Keita Bates-Diop and Josh Richardson are potential options to fill the last starting spot though both should see a good chunk of minutes tonight. It is looking like there will be plenty of value for the Spurs tonight and even more could open up if the players listed as questionable are unable to go.

Dewayne Dedmon (back) has been listed questionable for Saturday’s game against the San Antonio Spurs. If Dedmon were to be ruled out again after missing last night, Omer Yurtseven would enter the rotation and play the backup center minutes behind Bam Adebayo. Yurtseven has had some good games off the bench in the past but has a strict minutes ceiling that should keep him out of serious consideration in DFS contests.

Kevin Knox (illness) is now questionable Saturday ahead of the Hawks matchup against the Toronto Raptors. Knox was expected to be the final piece of the rotation for the Hawks but if he were to miss Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot would be the most likely candidate to take his place, though Skylar Mays and Jalen Johnson could be other options. Regardless, Knox or his replacement should not see enough minutes to be considered in DFS contests at this time.

Fred VanVleet (knee) and Pascal Siakam (illness) have both been listed as questionable Saturday ahead of their matchup against the Atlanta Hawks. If Fred VanVleet were to miss the Raptors would likely elect to go with a bigger lineup and sub in Chris Boucher or Thaddeus Young at the four shifting the rest of the lineup up a position. Dalano Blanton and Malachi Flynn would see increased bench run as they should see the bulk of the guard minutes. If Siakam were to be ruled out, it would likely result in a similar starting lineup change with Boucher or Young replacing Siakam with both expected to see increased run. It will be important to monitor how this situation progresses as we approach lineup lock. Luckily this is the first game of the main slate so we should know prior to lock.

Tomas Satoransky has agreed to a buyout with the San Antonio Spurs and is expected to sign with the Washington Wizards per Adrian Wojnarowski. For DFS purposes this is a very minor deal but Satoransky will be unavailable for both the Spurs and Wizards today (who are both slated to play). Satoransky wasn’t a part of the Spurs rotation and likely will only have a minor role with the Wizards when he joins the team.

Goran Dragic (conditioning) will play Saturday and make his Brooklyn Nets debut according to HC Steve Nash. Dragic is expected to have his minutes monitored after such a long layoff but was not expected to play a major role today regardless. He should be in line to see backup guard minutes as he gets acquainted with his new team.

Kristaps Porzingis (knee) has been listed out Saturday and will miss today’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. With Porzingis still out Daniel Gafford, Rui Hachimura, and Thomas Bryant will see the bulk of the big man minutes for the Wizards. Gafford will remain a good value option provided that he draws the start as he still sits at just 3.1K on DK. He can be considered in most formats.

Frank Jackson (shoulder) has officially been ruled out Saturday against the Boston Celtics after being listed as doubtful on the injury report yesterday. With Jackson still sidelined, Hamidou Diallo will see the majority of the bench wing minutes with Rodney McGruder remaining in the rotation for the time being. HC Dwayne Casey stated that he is hopeful that Jackson will be able available tomorrow when the Pistons are set to take on the Charlotte Hornets.
