Hart has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Friday’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks due to left knee soreness that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Other than the continued absence of Zion Williamson, the Pelicans have a healthy active roster, so the absence of Hart is unlikely to make much of an impact on daily fantasy contests since Tomas Satoransky and Garrett Temple would just take on slightly larger minute workloads, regardless of starter, and rookie Trey Murphy should remain in the rotation in a marginal role following his stretch of inconsistent playing time of late.

Deni Avdija (illness) and Aaron Holiday (illness) available to play Friday
Avdija has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Friday’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers despite dealing with an illness, while Holiday has been cleared to return from a one-game absence because of the same illness. Truthfully, this news doesn’t have much of an impact on tonight’s daily fantasy contests as Avdija should maintain his usual low-20s minutes role off the bench and Holiday should resume his marginal role at the backend of Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr.‘s rotation this evening.

Harris was never listed on the Sixers’ injury report, but he did miss shootaround, and has now been ruled out of Friday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks due to an illness. It’s been quite a while since the Sixers were at full strength when Harris was unavailable, so it’s a bit difficult to predict just how many minutes Georges Niang or Matisse Thybulle will receive as his potential replacement in the starting lineup for tonight’s contest. Thybulle would appear to have the leg up on playing time given his defensive prowess and the match up with Trae Young, so Niang will certainly have a much more volatile floor than he had back when the Sixers roster was depleted by COVID-19 and a number of players were in the NBA’s health and safety protocols.

Reddish has quickly been downgraded from doubtful and has now officially been ruled out of Friday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers due to an illness that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. In his absence, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot should receive the starting nod at the small forward position once again following his mediocre daily fantasy performance in 25 minutes of action in Wednesday’s win. However, even with Luwawu-Cabarrot starting, Kevin Huerter and Danilo Gallinari were the other two clear beneficiaries of increased playing time as Gallinari logged his season in minutes, logging just over 29 off the bench.

Powell has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Thursday’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs after missing two games due to a right quad contusion. The Trail Blazers will still be without Damian Lillard for an extended period, but the return of Powell will send Tony Snell back to the bench following his subpar fantasy performances as a member of the starting unit. As for Powell, there hasn’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction, so it appears that he’ll be able to be deployed in daily fantasy contests around the industry as normal this evening.

Antetokounmpo was never listed on the Bucks’ injury report, but he is a late scratch and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors for rest purposes on the second leg of a back-to-back set, while George Hill remains listed as probable with a right knee hyperextension. In Antetokounmpo’s absence, Pat Connaughton will receive the starting nod alongside Khris Middleton at the forward positions, and he could become a viable source of value on a slate that certainly isn’t lacking options in that department. The other impact of Antetokounmpo being sidelined is the massive usage vacancy he leaves behind in the first unit, because of this Middleton, Jrue Holiday, and Bobby Portis all become elite options for all daily fantasy formats across the industry this evening.

Barrett has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls due to an illness that forced him to leave midway through the second quarter of Tuesday’s loss, while Noel will also be unavailable because of a sore right knee that’s bothered him most of the season. With Noel sidelined, Mitchell Robinson may have slightly higher minute floor than normal, Knicks head coach Tom Thibodeau has typically turned to Taj Gibson to fill the minute void left behind by Noel in the past. As for Barrett’s absence, Immanuel Quickley will move into the starting lineup alongside Alec Burks in the backcourt, and those, along with Derrick Rose, should all be expected to see 30 minutes or more in their roles as initiators for the Knicks’ offense this evening.

Anderson has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder due to back soreness, while Williams will miss a second straight contest with a sore left knee. With Williams and Ja Morant unavailable in the Grizzlies’ previous game, head coach Taylor Jenkins resorted to playing Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke primarily at the power forward positions, which led to Santi Aldama receiving his first real run of minutes of the season. This trend may continue even further with Memphis down another frontcourt, but more than likely, John Konchar will join the rotation to help absorb some playing time on the wing this time around.

Gilgeous-Alexander has entered the NBA’s concussion protocol and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies due to concussion-like symptoms, while Josh Giddey, Kenrich Williams, and Derrick Favors all remain sidelined with their respective ailments. Oklahoma City is going to shorthanded and potentially overmatched from an NBA experience standpoint in their road clash with Memphis, as head coach Mark Daigneault will be forced to turn to Tre Mann as his starting point guard in tonight’s contest, and while Mann has certainly put together solid performances at the NBA and G-League level in his rookie season, he remains raw as a prospect. Additionally, there will be a plethora of usage available for the remaining members of the first unit, making Lu Dort, Darius Bazley, and Jeremiah Robinson-Earl all stellar tournament targets on tonight’s slates across the daily fantasy industry.

Cousins has been included on the Bucks’ initial injury report and is listed out for Thursday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors as he continues to ramp up his conditioning levels, while Hill is listed as probable with a knee ailment heading into tonight’s second leg of a back-to-back set. Cousins was limited to minutes in the low-teens in Wednesday’s win, so his absence from the rotation clearly won’t have much of an impact on the other members of the Milwaukee front court, especially since the big man has only been active for one game since signing his non-guaranteed deal with the team.

Harkless has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers due to left knee soreness that’s now forced him to miss three games. With Harkless, Harrison Barnes, and Marvin Bagley all still sidelined, Chimezie Metu appears poised to start at power forward once again, and he’s been phenomenal for daily fantasy purposes over the Kings’ previous two games and even logged 36 minutes of action sans Harkless, Bagley, and Barnes in the loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday evening.

Martin has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks due to an illness that has now forced him to miss two games. Prior to his absence, Martin had typically been seeing upwards of 26-29 minutes a night off head coach James Borrego’s bench, so clearly there will be a plethora of playing time opportunity up for grabs for the remaining members of the Charlotte rotation. The most logical candidate for the additional minutes would be Kelly Oubre, who’s logged at least 34 minutes in three of the last four contests, but there’s also a high probability that the starters will all have an increased minute floor as well as Jalen McDaniels and even Nick Richards if Borrego opts to play bigger down a key wing player.

Despite the midday addition to the Thunder’s injury report, Bazley has been cleared to play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets after previously being listed as questionable due to left elbow soreness. The absence of Josh Giddey should be a significant boost to the projected fantasy values of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the remaining members of the Thunder’s first unit, while some combination of Tre Mann, Aaron Wiggins, and Paul Watson are likely to absorb the vacated minutes on the wing. As for the frontcourt, Oklahoma City will be extremely thin there again with Mike Muscala and Derrick Favors unavailable and should enable Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Isaiah Roby to handle much of the minutes at the five-spot this evening.
