The Bucks will roll with the same starting five as they did in Game 1 as they look to bounce back from a tough loss and tie the series at 1 game apiece tonight.

Lineup Update: Suns will start Paul, Booker, Bridges, Crowder, Ayton on Tuesday

Giannis will rejoin the starting lineup after just being cleared to play for Game 1 of the NBA Finals which will send Bobby Portis back to the bench. It remains to be seen how effective Giannis will be coming back so quickly from his injury or if he will be limited.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will play Tuesday

Giannis has been further upgraded from questionable and will play tonight in Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns. Although there has been no official word yet he will likely be limited, if this is the case Bobby Portis (who has started in place of Giannis while he has been out) will likely play an increased role off the bench along with Pat Connaughton and Bryn Forbes. Also if limited, both Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton will be forced to play larger roles and will become the main source of offense for the Bucks when Giannis is off the floor. The Milwaukee offense should be led by Giannis (for however long he is on the court), Middleton, and Holiday as the Bucks look to take Game 1 of the Finals in Phoenix tonight.

Status Update: Giannis Antetokounmpo expected to be a game-time decision Tuesday

Giannis Antetokounmpo who has been receiving around-the-clock treatment on his knee with hopes of suiting up for Game 1 is expected to be a game-time decision Tuesday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) now listed questionable for Tuesday

Giannis Antetokounmpo has been upgraded from doubtful on last night’s injury report to questionable for Game 1 of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns. This is incredibly good news for the Bucks as they could potentially get their superstar back after it was originally thought he would miss Game 1 with his hyperextended knee. If Giannis is able to suit up and play tonight he will likely be limited, if this is the case Bobby Portis (who has started in place of Giannis while he has been out) will likely play an increased role off the bench along with Pat Connaughton and Bryn Forbes. Also if limited, both Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton will be forced to play larger roles and will become the main source of offense for the Bucks when Giannis is off the floor. The Milwaukee offense should be led by Giannis (if available), Middleton, and Holiday as the Bucks look to take Game 1 of the Finals in Phoenix tonight.

Trae Young will make his return tonight after a two game absence due to a bone bruise in his foot and will immediately be slotted back in to the starting lineup for the Hawks as the look to avoid elimination tonight against the Bucks. This will move Lou Williams back to the bench but If Young is at all limited expect Williams to play more than his usual bench minutes with Huerter and Bogdanovic seeing more of an on-ball role.

The Bucks will run with the same starting five as last game with Portis inserted for Giannis who is still out with a hyperextended knee.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) available to play Saturday

As expected, Bogdan Bogdanovic will be available Saturday after being listed as probable on last night’s injury report. Bogdanovic should continue to see his normal heavy minutes as he has seemed to look more comfortable every game as his knee heals. The Hawks offense should be led by Young, Bogdanovic, and Capela as the Hawks look to tie the series at 3 games apiece tonight and force a Game 7 on Monday.

Trae Young will be available Saturday for Game 6 of the Hawks series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Though Young has been cleared to play, it is likely that he will be limited after missing the last two games due to a bone bruise in his right foot. If he is limited, it is likely that we see increased minutes from Lou Williams who has played 35 minutes in both games without Young while Bogdan Bogdanovic as well as Kevin Huerter will also likely play more of an on-ball role. The Hawks offense should be led by Young, Bogdanovic, and Capela as the Hawks look to tie the series at 3 games apiece tonight and force a Game 7 on Monday.

Trae Young will be a game-time decision Saturday for Game 6 of the Hawks series against the Milwaukee Bucks. Though Young could be cleared to play, it is likely that he would be limited after missing the last two games due to a bone bruise in his right foot. If he is able to suit up and is limited, it is likely that we see increased minutes from Lou Williams who has played 35 minutes in both games without Young while Bogdan Bogdanovic as well as Kevin Huerter will also likely play more of an on-ball role. The Hawks offense should be led by Young (if available), Bogdanovic, and Capela as the Hawks look to tie the series at 3 games apiece tonight and force a Game 7 on Monday.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) ruled out Saturday

As expected after being listed as doubtful on last night’s injury report Giannis will not be available to play Saturday in Game 6 of the Bucks series against the Hawks due to a left knee injury. Without Giannis, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton will become the main offensive options for the Bucks and it is likely Bobby Portis will remain in the starting lineup. All Milwaukee starters should play an increased role along with Pat Connaughton and Bryn Forbes seeing increased minutes off the bench. When looking at CourtIQ with Giannis off the court the biggest FPM boost benefactors are Holiday (.19), Middleton (.17), Forbes (.09), and Lopez (.04). It is also worth noting that Holiday and Middleton see sizeable usage rate increases as well with Giannis off (5.9%, 6.9% respectively). The Bucks will rely on Holiday and Middleton to close out the series tonight to set up a Finals matchup with the Phoenix Suns

This was the expected lineup after Trae Young was ruled out once again. Lou Williams will remain in the starting lineup for Young with Bogdanovic and Huerter seeing more ball handling responsibilities.

Bobby Portis will enter the starting lineup for the Bucks after the announcement that Giannis had been downgraded to out for tonight’s game. Bobby Portis will play a much larger role without Giannis and should be considered one of the better value options on the slate while Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton will both have to play larger roles offensively.

Bogdan Bogdanovic (knee) available Thursday

As expected, Bogdan Bogdanovic will be available Thursday after being listed as probable on last night’s injury report. Bogdanovic should continue to see his normal heavy minutes as he has seemed to look more comfortable each and every game as his knee heals and with Trae Young ruled out a few minutes ago Bogdanovic should play more of a role as a ball handler as he did in the Game 4 victory. The Hawks offense should be led by Lou Williams, Bogdanovic, and Collins as the Hawks look to take a 3-2 series lead tonight.
