Kemba Walker and Robert Williams ruled out Sunday
Kemba Walker and Robert Williams will not be available Sunday for the Celtics ahead of their Game 4 matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. With Walker out the Celtics backcourt will be depleted and Marcus Smart and Payton Pritchard will likely serve as the primary guards with Aaron Nesmith and Romeo Langford also likely seeing extended run. Robert Williams was only able to play 6 minutes last game and most of the center minutes were played by Tristan Thompson with Grant Williams getting some run when the Celtics elected to go with a smaller lineup. We should expect more of the same on Sunday making Thompson a good value play based on expected volume. With Walker and Robert Williams out Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, and Evan Fournier will likely all be forced to shoulder even more of the load on offense making them stronger plays as the Celtics try to even the series up at 2-2.

Kemba Walker will likely not be available Sunday for the Celtics ahead of their Game 4 matchup with the Brooklyn Nets. With Walker expected to be out the Celtics backcourt will be depleted and Marcus Smart and Payton Pritchard will likely serve as the primary guards with Aaron Nesmith and Romeo Langford also seeing extended run off the bench. With Walker and Jaylen Brown off the court this season we see that the biggest beneficiaries from an FPM boost perspective are Tristan Thompson (.21), Payton Pritchard (.13), Jayson Tatum(.13), and Marcus Smart (.06). If Walker is ruled out Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, and Evan Fournier will likely all be forced to shoulder even more of the load on offense making them stronger plays as the Celtics try to even the series up at 2-2.

Serge Ibaka will likely not be available for the Clippers Sunday for Game 4 against the Dallas Mavericks. Earlier in the season Ibaka missed two months with a back injury and it seems to be acting up again, if he is out Marcus Morris, Ivica Zubac, and Nicolas Batum will likely absorb his minutes. This news will only lead to slight bumps for the players mentioned as Ibaka hasn’t seen much playing time so far this series (13 minutes Game 1, 6 minutes Game 2) and the Clippers found success last game running with a smaller lineup. The Clippers offense should continue to be run primarily through Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.

Chris Paul will be available Sunday for the Suns when they take on the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 4. Paul who has been limited the last two games (23 minutes Game 2, 27 minutes Game 3) will again suit up and likely start for the Suns and play a similar number of minutes. With Paul likely limited it will force Devin Booker into a larger scoring role as well as Deandre Ayton with Cameron Payne playing the extra guard minutes that Paul vacates. The Suns offense will run through Chris Paul (for however long he is able to play), Devin Booker, and Deandre Ayton as they look to even the series at two games apiece.

This was the expected move for the Lakers once Caldwell-Pope was ruled out. Matthews should offer some decent value as he is expected to see the majority of the guard minutes alongside Dennis Schroder with Alex Caruso and Ben McLemore available to back him up off the bench. Matthews becomes a better value play strictly based on how many minutes he should see with the potential to score well if he gets hot from three. The Lakers offense should continue to be run through LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Dennis Schroder as they look to extend their series lead to three games to one.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope will not be available Sunday for the Lakers for their Game 4 matchup with the Phoenix Suns. It is likely that Wesley Matthews or Kyle Kuzma take his spot in the starting lineup with Alex Caruso and Matthews seeing extended run at guard and possibly even Ben McLemore or Talen Horton-Tucker could rejoin the rotation. Matthews and Caruso should see the biggest benefit without KCP and become better value plays today. The Lakers offense should continue to be run through LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Dennis Schroder as they look to extend their series lead to three games to one.

Chris Paul will be a game-time decision for the Suns ahead of their Game 4 matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers Sunday. Paul who has been limited every game so far this series may not be able to suit up today and if this is the case this will likely thrust Cameron Payne into the starting lineup with Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton leading the offense. Payne has done a good job off the bench filling in for Paul and should be looked at as a good value play based on the minutes he should see today if Paul is unable to go. If Paul is out the Suns will look to Booker and Ayton to dominate most of the usage and production and try to even the series at two games apiece.

Anthony Davis will be available Sunday after being listed as questionable on the injury report last night with a sore knee. There has been no word yet on if he will be limited in any way, so as of now we expect AD to see his normal run and start for the Lakers when they take on the Phoenix Suns. If Davis were to be limited Kyle Kuzma could see some extended run and Talen Horton-Tucker or Markieff Morris could rejoin the rotation. Caldwell-Pope is a game time decision and if he were to miss it is likely that Wesley Matthews or Kyle Kuzma would take his spot in the starting lineup with Alex Caruso and Matthews seeing extended run at guard and Ben McLemore could rejoin the rotation. The Lakers offense should continue to be run through LeBron James, Davis, and Dennis Schroder as they look to extend their series lead to three games to one.

Luka Doncic is expected to be available Sunday for the Mavericks as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 4 of their series. Despite being listed as questionable last night Luka will likely suit up tonight and will probably start and play his normal heavy minutes. If he were to be limited (though there has been no mention of this) the other Mavericks starters along with Jalen Brunson would likely see the biggest benefit as they would see more usage and opportunities. The Dallas offense will continue to be run through Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Tim Hardaway Jr. as the Mavericks look to bounce back from their Game 3 loss and take a 3-1 series lead.

Nerlens Noel is expected to remain on a minutes limit Sunday similar to Game 3 where he played 22 minutes off the bench. Taj Gibson will get the start again and should see the bulk of the center minutes (26 last game) increasing the value that he offers though his price has risen over the course of the last few games. The Knicks offense should continue to be run through Derrick Rose and Julius Randle as the Knicks look to even the series back up at two games all.

Russell Westbrook will be available Saturday for Game 3 against the Philadelphia 76ers after being listed as questionable on the injury report last night. There has been no word on if he will be limited, if he is Bradley Beal, Raul Neto and Ish Smith stand the most to gain. The Wizards offense should be run through Westbrook and Bradley Beal as they look to avoid going down 3-0 in the series.

As expected, Seth Curry will be available for the 76ers when they take on the Washington Wizards in Game 3 of their series Saturday after being listed probable on the injury report last night. Curry should see his normal role and minutes as a starter. The Philadelphia offense should continue to be run through Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, and Tobias Harris as the 76ers look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Davis Bertans will start ahead of Raul Neto on Saturday for Game 3 of the Wizards series with the Philadelphia 76ers. Bertans will likely see a few more minutes now that he is running with the starters and could see a few more opportunities if Westbrook (who is a game-time decision) is limited or unable to suit up.

Russell Westbrook will be a game-time decision Saturday for Game 3 of the Wizards series with the Philadelphia 76ers. We still expect Westbrook to suit up and play but he could be limited which would mean more minutes and impact for both Raul Neto and Ish Smith. Bradley Beal would also see a tremendous boost as he would be the focal point for the Wizards offense even more so. If Westbrook is good to go the offense should be run through him and Beal but if he is unable to suit up Beal along with all other Wizards starters become much better plays.
