Bradley Beal (hamstring) will play Sunday

Bradley Beal will be available to play Sunday against the Charlotte Hornets. Beal will likely see his normal run as no minutes limit was mentioned and this game decides seeding for the play in tournament. The Wizards offense should run through Westbrook and Beal and they will both likely see heavy minutes as the Wizards two stars.

Lonnie Walker will be available to play Sunday

Lonnie Walker will be available to play Sunday when the Spurs take on the Phoenix Suns. He should expect to see around 20 minutes or so but we don’t know exactly what the Spurs plan to do. This game means nothing for them as they are already locked into the 10th seed. The spurs offense should be run though Dejounte Murray and DeMar DeRozan for however long they play.

Dejounte Murray and Rudy Gay available to play Sunday; Patty Mills and Trey Lyles ruled out

Dejounte Murray and Rudy Gay are available to play Sunday while Patty Mills and Trey Lyles have been ruled out ahead of the Spurs matchup with the Phoenix Suns. Murray will lead the offense alongside DeMar DeRozan as the Spurs continue to rest players ahead of the play in tournament, Patty Mills will get the night off and Lyles will be given more time for his ankle injury to heal. The Spurs will likely get creative with their rotations today as this game doesn’t mean anything for them so it is tough to know exactly who to target on the Spurs side.

Jalen Harris (foot) ruled out Sunday

Jalen Harris has been ruled out Sunday ahead of the Raptors matchup with the Indiana Pacers. The short-handed Raptors will be even more short-handed without Jalen Harris and this will likely force Gary Trent Jr. into the rotation and probably the starting lineup. If Trent who has not played the last few games despite being active (same with Chris Boucher) does not play again Flynn and Bembry will be the only available guards for the Raptors and likely play over 40 minutes. The Raptors offense will be run through Malachi Flynn, Stanley Johnson, and Trent (if he plays) although all Raptors should see a large amount of run.

Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, and Aaron Holiday are game-time decisions Sunday; Edmond Sumner and Jeremy Lamb remain out

Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, and Aaron Holiday are game-time decisions Sunday while Edmond Sumner and Jeremy Lamb remain out ahead of the Pacers matchup with the Toronto Raptors. This is an important game for the Pacers as a win secures them the 9th seed and home court advantage in their 9 vs 10 matchup in the play in tournament so if Sabonis, Brogdon, and Holiday can go expect them to play. They might not see their full workload however as they are returning from injury and the fact they are playing the tanking Raptors who are resting all of their veteran players. If Brogdon is able to return expect a smaller role for TJ McConnell and Justin Holiday. If Sabonis is able to return he will likely take minutes away from Goga Bitadze and Oshae Brissett. If the Pacers stars are able to play expect most of the offense to run through Sabonis, Brogdon, and Caris LeVert.

Status Note: Miles Bridges won't have a minutes limit Sunday

Miles Bridges will not have a minutes limit on Sunday when the Hornets take on the Washington Wizards. Bridges who has been limited previously after returning from injury will not be restricted today and could potentially move into the starting lineup and supplant Jalen McDaniels who was starting in his absence. This is an important game for the Hornets as it directly decides who will be the 8th seed in the east and play Boston in the play in tournament.

Bradley Beal and Raul Neto are listed as game-time decisions Sunday while Garrison Mathews is available for the Wizards when they take on the Charlotte Hornets. If Bradley Beal were able to make his return it would severely limit the upside of all other Wizards starters aside from Westbrook (though he does see a 3% usage rate decrease with Beal on the court). If Beal remains out Raul Neto (if available) would play an increased role along with Garrison Mathews, Ish Smith, and Chandler Hutchinson. The Wizards do have something to play for in this game so it’s likely the starters see their normal run unless this game becomes one-sided. The Washington offense will be run through Westbrook and Beal (if available).

Dejounte Murray, Rudy Gay, Lonnie Walker, Trey Lyles listed questionable Sunday

Dejounte Murray, Rudy Gay, Lonnie Walker, and Trey Lyles have all been listed as questionable Sunday ahead of the Spurs matchup with the Phoenix Suns. The Spurs rested most of their key pieces yesterday but it looks like at least some of them could potentially be available today. Murray and Walker will likely slide into the starting lineup and it is also likely that DeMar DeRozan and Jakob Poetl who are not listed on the Spurs injury report as of now could make their return after resting yesterday. If the Spurs main pieces are back we should expect them to start but they could be limited ahead of their play in game especially if this game gets out of hand.The Spurs offense should run through DeRozan and Murray (if available).

Deandre Ayton and Cam Johnson listed out Sunday

Deandre Ayton and Cam Johnson have been listed out Sunday for the Suns ahead of their matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. This was somewhat expected after both were listed out yesterday and with this game not expected to be too competitive. Yesterday against these same Spurs who will likely have a similar lineup today the Suns were able to take care of business and win by over 35 points with no starter seeing more than 26 minutes. Coach Monty Williams did mention the possibility of resting players tonight so we have to stay tuned to see if that actually happens. Chris Paul and Devin Booker are possible rest candidates that could really shake up the Suns lineup and usage. With Ayton out we can expect Dario Saric to once again get the starting nod with Frank Kaminsky backing him up.

Jayson Tatum and Evan Fournier ruled out Sunday

Jayson Tatum and Evan Fournier have been ruled out Sunday and will join the rest of the usual starting lineup as unavailable ahead of their game with the New York Knicks. This doesn’t come as a huge surprise as the Celtics are locked into the 7th seed and will be hosting their play in game so they will be resting as many players as possible ahead of that. The Celtics will have 10 available players and they will all likely get some playing time today as Carsen Edwards was the only one to not see the court yesterday in their win against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Celtics offense should be run through Payton Pritchard and Luke Kornet with all other starters seeing increased minutes as well and offering value.

In a surprise move Nemanja Bjelica will start for Jimmy Butler on Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks despite not playing since April 26th. We really don’t know what we are going to get from Bjelica but we do know that with Butler off the court all other Heat starters should see a boost in production. Kendrick Nunn who was questionable leading up to lineup release will get the start and likely see his normal run.

In a surprise move Nemanja Bjelica will start for Jimmy Butler on Saturday against the Milwaukee Bucks despite not playing since April 26th. We really don’t know what we are going to get from Bjelica as his minutes have been all over the place with some DNP-CD’s sprinkled in. He could just be part of the opening rotation or he could play normal starter minutes. We do know that with Butler off the court all other Heat starters should see a boost in production.

Jimmy Butler (back) ruled out Saturday, Kendrick Nunn will be available and start

Jimmy Butler has been ruled out Saturday while Kendrick Nunn will be available and start for the Heat against the Milwaukee Bucks. With Butler out Nemanja Bjelica will draw the spot start seeing his first action since April 26th, Andre Iguodala will likely benefit from some increased run while KZ Okpala would likely enter the rotation and see some minutes as well. When we look at CourtIQ with Butler off the floor we see that the biggest benefactors from an FPM boost perspective are Bam Adebayo (.10), Goran Dragic (.09), Iguodala (.06), and the available Nunn (.06). All of these guys become much stronger plays now that Butler is out with most of the offense running through Nunn (if available), Robinson, and Adebayo. This game will likely remain competitive with both coaches in their pregame press conferences saying that they are going out there to win regardless of what it does to playoff seeding.

Coach Budenholzer has stated that the Bucks normal starters will start and that they are “just gonna go play”. Despite possibly forcing a tougher matchup with a win the Bucks will at least start with their normal rotation but it remains to be seen if this will remain the case throughout the entire game. The Bucks offense should be run primarily through Giannis, Khris Middleton, and Jrue Holiday as is the norm when the Bucks are healthy.

As expected Dario Saric will draw the start for Deandre Ayton as he did last game where he saw 30 minutes.
