Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon both available to play Friday. The Pacers are finally getting healthy, although Myles Turner is still out of action. With Sabonis back, he becomes a very strong GPP play as the center here – his rebounding upside rises mildly and he should also be a little more involved offensively with Edmund Sumner starting in Turner’s place. Caris LeVert’s value takes a hit relative to the last few games when both Sabonis and Brogdon were inactive. Brogdon’s production has been a little inconsistent with LeVert in the fold, so he’s still a bit shaky. Brogdon’s return does make TJ McConnell a far less appealing target and should also lead to less run for Aaron Holiday, who had played very well in a reserve role. Sabonis’ presence also takes Goga Bitadze out of play for cash games, but he’s still at least on the GPP radar with Turner out.

Brandon Ingram, Kira Lewis Jr. will play Friday; Lonzo Ball ruled out
Brandon Ingram, Kira Lewis Jr. will play Friday, but Lonzo Ball has been ruled out. This could lead to Isaiah Thomas drawing a start at PG, with Lewis likely staying in his bench role. It is possible Lewis sees some extra run with Ball out, but not enough to make him a recommended DFS target on Friday. With Ingram back, Zion’s usage should dip mildly, but he’s still the lone elite target on the NOP side. Steven Adams should have his hands full with Joel Embiid, but the fact that his presence may be needed a bit more tonight than usual also does throw him onto the GPP radar. Ingram could take on a little more playmaking with Lonzo out, as Ball had been the team’s main creator of late.

Clint Capela and Danilo Gallinari will play Friday. The Hawks will get two of their bigs back tonight, which will shift Onyeka Okongwu back to the bench and could push Nate Knight out of the rotation entirely. Capela has been producing at an elite clip recently and especially without John Collins, so he’s a very strong GPP play on a night where he may be an afterthought thanks to the questionable tag. Danilo Gallinari is also squarely on the radar, as he could push for minutes in the high-20s with Collins still out and the Hawks a little thin at PF.

Josh Okogie available to play Friday, while Jaylen Nowell has been officially ruled out. Okogie isn’t going to play much of a role even when active – even as a starter, he’s typically been limited to about 20 minutes and isn’t involved offensively alongside Towns, Edwards and Russell. It’s possible Jake Layman gets the hook from the starting lineup or plays less, but this news has no real DFS impact.

C’mon guys. The Bucks ruled out Giannis and Jrue Holiday earlier in the day, and a few hours later will rule out the rest of their starting lineup. Middleton and Lopez are still technically doubtful, but all signs point to them sitting and leaving the Bucks with a bench mob. Bobby Portis is the one regular still in the fold here, and assuming he starts he’s one of the top mid-range/value plays on this slate. Pat Connaughton, Jeff Teague, Jordan Nwora and Mamadi Diakite are the projected starters alongside Portis, with Teague and Nwora being appealing plays near or at minimum price.

Paul George, Patrick Beverley listed out for Friday, while Reggie Jackson is listed questionable. The Clippers are unsurprisingly resting some players on the second night of a B2B against a Rockets team that they are double-digit favorites against. With PG out of action, Kawhi Leonard becomes an even stronger play, and would have immense upside if Houston was able to stay competitive. Terrence Mann should have another breakout opportunity after playing just a handful of minutes on Thursday – he had been exploding with George out of the lineup recently, and should have another chance at seeing minutes in the mid-to-high 20s off the bench. Rajon Rondo should run into more time at PG with Beverley out, and would potentially play even more if Reggie Jackson can’t go.

Gary Harris to have a minutes restriction Friday, and he may continue to be on a restriction for the next few games. This isn’t a surprise – Harris has missed an extended period of time and hasn’t even suited up for the Magic yet. His return is likely to eat mildly into the workloads of Dwayne Bacon, RJ Hampton and Terrence Ross. The Magic have plenty of depth at the guard spot currently, but are much more shorthanded in the frontcourt. Harris is nowhere near the DFS radar at this point.

Walker’s return should eat mildly into the playing time of Derrick White, Devin Vassell and Patty Mills, although it’s likely Walker’s court time is limited given that he’s missed an extended period of time. With Dieng out of action, Drew Eubanks should take on the backup center duties.

Brandon Clarke questionable for Friday. He’s missed three of the team’s past five games and each of the last two, which has afforded Kyle Anderson a chance to play an extra few minutes with Killian Tillie also working his way into the rotation. Anderson’s ceiling would take a hit with Clarke back in the lineup, although the Grizzlies expectations in terms of offensive output should be tempered mildly against a very slow Knicks team.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (left knee soreness) and Jrue Holiday (left knee contusion) are both out Friday. The Bucks will still have one member of their big three – Khris Middleton – and given that they are still favorites in a matchup with Charlotte, we should expect a boatload of production from Khris without two ball-dominant players on the floor. He’s averaging a whopping 1.37 FPPM with Giannis/Jrue off the floor this year. Donte DiVincenzo figures to take on much more responsibility on the ball and averages a 23.5% usage rate and .93 FPPM in this split. Brook Lopez also gets a noticeable bump in his rebounding upside, putting him squarely in play as an upside punt play at center. Bobby Portis and Pat Connaughton are also squarely on the radar.

The Pistons are also changing out their lineup with Grant and Plumlee out. Stewart gets the start as expected in place of Plumlee, but DSJ moves into the starting lineup in place of Saben Lee, while Cory Joseph will play in place of Grant; Bey and Jackson will move up a position each. This makes it extremely difficult to trust Saben, while possibly giving a few more minutes to DSJ and Joseph. Stewart will be a safe value play now that he’s getting the start.

Lineup update: Kings will start Fox, Hield, Harkless, Barnes, and Holmes on Thursday
The Kings are making a change to their starting lineup, as they are moving Haliburton back to the bench, while Maurice Harkless will get the start. After a four game losing streak, coach Walton is looking to prioritize defense a bit more. Haliburton may lose a few minutes, but should still play a hefty role off the bench. Harkless will play a few more minutes, but usually doesn’t produce too well; in 92 minutes with the Kings, he only averages 0.55 FPM.

Coach Terry Stotts said Nurkic will continue to be limited to 20 minutes again tonight against the Toronto Raptors. In the Blazers last game, Nurkic was limited to 5 minutes stints, so that should continue while Enes Kanter will fill in the remaining center minutes.

Portis will end up getting the start in place of Giannis as the Bucks take on the Dallas Mavericks. Portis averages 1.11 FPM per CourtIQ with Giannis off the floor, and now that he’s getting the start, he should be in line to get minutes in the upper twenties, allowing him a good chance to make value on the slate.
