Tobias Harris (knee) ruled out Monday
Harris has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers due to a right knee contusion that has now forced him to miss two consecutive games. Meanwhile, Sixers head coach Doc Rivers disclosed to reporters that Joel Embiid is “very questionable” to play because of left ankle soreness, putting Philadelphia on track to be without two of their top three starters. This obviously opens up a ton of usage for the other members of the first unit, but it should also allow two of Furkan Korkmaz, Dwight Howard, and Mike Scott to join the starting five for tonight’s contest. Unsurprisingly, in a still limited sample, Ben Simmons leads the Sixers by a wide margin in fantasy production with Harris and Embiid off the court as he owns a 24.7% usage rate, 37.9% assist rate, and 14.9% rebound rate over this span.
As reported by: Rich Hofmann via TwitterFacundo Campazzo (protocols) downgraded to doubtful Monday
Campazzo is a new addition to the Nuggets injury report and is doubtful for Monday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls as he’s entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols and may be required to self-isolate for a current undetermined period of time. The Nuggets are also already without RJ Hampton and Markus Howard for contact tracing, so with Campazzo unlikely to play, they’re becoming extremely thin in the second unit, which should enable Monte Morris, Will Barton, and P.J. Dozier to take on larger roles at their respective positions, while there will be more offensive usage to go around for the likes of Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray, and Michael Porter Jr. this evening.
As reported by: Harrison Wind via TwitterGordon Hayward (hand) and Cody Zeller (hip) doubtful Monday
Hayward and Zeller have been listed as doubtful on the Hornets’ initial injury report for Monday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers due to their respective ailments, while Caleb Martin was cleared from the NBA’s health and safety protocols and will be available to play for the second straight contest. The Hornets will also be without Devonte’ Graham once again, so they’ll still likely be without three regular starters, which should allow Jalen McDaniels and Bismack Biyombo to receive the starting nods at their respective positions whereas Miles Bridges, Malik Monk, and Cody Martin figure to have key roles off the bench with the second unit. As for Caleb Martin, there hasn’t been a specific report of a potential minute restriction, but given the length and nature of his absence, it’s doesn’t seem plausible for him to see significant playing time this evening.

As expected, Hayward and Zeller have officially been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Sunday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to their respective ailments, while Caleb Martin has been cleared from the NBA’s health and safety protocols and will be available after missing nearly three full weeks. The Hornets are also without Devonte’ Graham, so they’ll be without three regular starters, which will likely allow Cody Martin and Bismack Biyombo to receive the starting nods at their respective positions whereas Miles Bridges, Malik Monk, and Jalen McDaniels figure to have key roles off the bench with the second unit in tonight’s contest. As reported by: Charlotte Hornets PR via Twitter Other tagged players: Cody ZellerJimmy Butler (knee) ruled out Sunday; Tyler Herro (hip) will play
Jimmy Butler (knee) ruled out Sunday, while Tyler Herro (hip) will play. Butler’s absence creates plenty of opportunity – Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Goran Dragic and Duncan Robinson are all more appealing targets with Butler off the floor. Bam is projecting as one of the top plays on the slate regardless of position, with Herro and Dragic projecting as very strong mid-range options, especially in GPPs.
As reported by: Tim Reynolds via Twitter Other tagged players: Tyler HerroJaylen Brown (knee) ruled out Sunday
Jaylen Brown (knee) ruled out Sunday against the Wizards. Jayson Tatum becomes a top overall play on the slate, while Kemba Walker now projects as an elite value as a mid-range PG option. There are a number of wing options that could benefit from Brown’s absence, but the majority of the usage/playmaking responsibilities will fall to Tatum and Walker. The Celtics will be taking on a Wizards team playing their fifth game in seven days.
As reported by: Sean Grande via TwitterGordon Hayward (hand) and Cody Zeller (hip) downgraded to doubtful Sunday
Gordon Hayward (hand) and Cody Zeller (hip) downgraded to doubtful Sunday. With Hayward out, we’re projecting Cody Martin to get a start and play 23 minutes, although Caleb Martin, Miles Bridges and Malik Monk all stand to see some increased run. With Devonte Graham also out, LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier are two of the top plays at the guard spots. Bismack Biyombo figures to start in place of Cody Zeller once again, landing him on the value play radar as a potential upside at the center spot.
As reported by: Charlotte Hornets PR via Twitter Other tagged players: Cody ZellerTaj Gibson (ankle) listed out Sunday; Elfrid Payton (hamstring) listed doubtful
Taj Gibson is listed out Sunday while Elfrid Payton holds a doubtful tag. Nerlens Noel is projected for about 30 minutes as the starting center with the likes of Obi Toppin and Kevin Knox likely to eat up what Gibson leaves behind. With Payton likely out, Derrick Rose once again steps onto the radar as a strong dollar per point play with Immanual Quickley hanging on the GPP radar given his per-minute upside.
As reported by: NBA Official Injury Report Other tagged players: Elfrid PaytonTyler Johnson (migraine) questionable Saturday
Johnson was a late add to the injury report Saturday, as he is suffering from some migraine issues and is questionable to play against the Dallas Mavericks. The Nets are already shorthanded without Kyrie Irving, who was ruled out earlier due to a shoulder injury. If Johnson were to miss, the Nets would be very thing at the guard positions. Landry Shamet would likely get some more playing time, and possibly the start as coach Nash has yet to decide his starting lineup. Chris Chiozza would be in line for some minutes at the guard position off the bench, while Iman Shumpert and Andre Roberson may be thrust into action after signing ten day contracts yesterday. Johnson’s absence likely increases Harden’s necessity for handling the ball even more.
As reported by: Brian Lewis via TwitterMalcolm Brogdon (knee) ruled out Saturday
Brogdon was downgraded from questionable to out due to a knee injury, and will miss his first game of the season against the New York Knicks. T.J. McConnell will be getting the start for the first time all year for the Pacers. Aaron Holiday should see the backup point guard minutes, while Edmond Summer could see an uptick in minutes off the bench as well. In 326 minutes with Brogdon (and TJ Warren) off the court this year, McConnell has averaged 1.17 FPM, stemming primarily from his 43.9% assist rate per CourtIQ. Myles Turner actually sees the biggest bump in production with Brogdon off the court, as his FPM increases from 1.02 to a team leading 1.41, and his usage increases from 17.5% to 23.6% in a 136 minutes sample. Justin Holiday, Doug McDermott, and McConnell all see big bumps in fantasy production as well. Surprisingly, Domantas Sabonis actually sees a slight downtick in production, but still averages 1.24 FPM, down from his usual 1.28 FPM.
As reported by: the Indiana Pacers via TwitterJJ Redick (hamstring) ruled out Saturday
Redick was listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury, and was officially downgraded to out before the game against the San Antonio Spurs. With Redick sidelined, someone will need to fill his minutes off the bench, as Redick played 26 minutes last game, the most he had played in over a month as the Pelicans rolled with only an eight man rotation. At least one of Kira Lewis or Nickeill Alexander-Walker should re-enter the rotation and help play some guard minutes, while Josh Hart may get some more minutes as coach Stan Van Gundy doesn’t like to play too many bodies. This should add a couple more minutes to Eric Bledsoe and Lonzo Ball as well.
As reported by: the New Orleans Pelicans via TwitterKristaps Porzingis (back) available to play Saturday
After being upgraded to probable earlier in the day, Porzingis is available to play after missing the last three games due to a back injury and will play against the Brooklyn Nets. Coach Carlisle mentioned that there wouldn’t be any exact minute restrictions, but that he “wouldn’t see him getting into the high 30’s”, which Porzingis doesn’t often get to anyway.Porzingis should take the bulk of the center minutes, while the remainder of the front court will lose minutes. Particularly against a Nets team that plays smaller, the minutes of Dwight Powell and Boban Marjanovic are likely gone, while Willey Cauley-Stein should come off the bench as the backup center. Luka Doncic shows lower usage but a higher assist percentage with Porzingis on the floor, while the remainder of the Mavericks all see slight downticks in usage.
As reported by: the Dallas Mavericks via TwitterPJ Dozier (hamstring) available to play Saturday
After missing the last fifteen games due to a hamstring injury, PJ Dozier is available to play for the Nuggets as they face off against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Dozier should slot back into his role as a bench perimeter defender, while Monte Morris and Facundo Campazzo might lose some minutes as a result. Although there was no minutes restriction mentioned, it is likely that coach Malone will limit Dozier in his first game back after a lengthy absence. The Nuggets remain without Gary Harris, JaMychal Green, and Paul Millsap, but Dozier’s return limits the fringe production for the team outside of the Nuggets starters.
As reported by: the Denver Nuggets via TwitterStatus update: Malcolm Brogdon (knee) a game-time decision Saturday
Brogdon banged his knee twice during the Pacers game yesterday, and will test it during his shootaround before the game against the New York Knicks. If he were to miss, TJ McConnell and Aaron Holiday would pick up some guard minutes, while Myles Turner will see a big jump in production if Brogdon sits.
As reported by: Tony East via TwitterCedi Osman (back) officially ruled out Saturday
Osman was officially ruled out due to back spasms and will miss the game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Dean Wade will get the start again, while Lamar Stevens and Dylan Windler will get some more minutes off the bench
