Goga Bitadze (knee) available to play Friday
Bitadze has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play off the bench in Friday’s matchup against the Miami Heat despite dealing with a sore left knee. However, the Pacers will still be without T.J. Warren, Victor Oladipo, and Myles Turner, which will allow Jakarr Sampson, Alize Johnson, and Justin Holiday to join the starting lineup alongside Edmond Sumner and Malcolm Brogdon in today’s contest. There haven’t been any reports of minute limitations for Brogdon or any of the other regular rotation players, but it’d be far from surprising if that ended up being the case as head coach Nate McMillan is unlikely to put anything usable on film for the Heat, who they begin a playoff series against early next week.
As reported by: Tony East via TwitterMichael Porter Jr. (rest) out Friday
Porter Jr. is a late addition to the Nuggets’ injury report and won’t play in Friday’s matchup against the Toronto Raptors due to rest purposes, while Gary Harris and Will Barton continue to be sidelined with their respective ailments. Even though Porter is the only Denver starter resting during today’s contest, head coach Mike Malone insinuated during his pregame Zoom availability that the other members of the starting lineup could be limited and that Troy Daniels and Noah Vonleh will be a part of the rotation in some capacity, which is noteworthy since they’ve seen minimal playing time during this Orlando restart when Paul Millsap and Jamal Murray have been active.
As reported by: T.J. McBride via TwitterOG Anunoby (knee) and Serge Ibaka (knee) officially out Friday
As expected, Anunoby and Ibaka have been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Friday’s matchup against the Denver Nuggets due to their respective ailments, while Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry, and Fred VanVleet were previously ruled out for rest purposes. It’s a bit strange that Marc Gasol is the only Toronto starter that’s been excluded from the injury report, so it would not be surprising if he’s a healthy inactive or plays very limited minutes in today’s contest. This will pave the way for Norman Powell, Terence Davis, Chris Boucher, and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to take on primary roles in the offense and makes them all viable options for daily fantasy formats this afternoon.

As reported by: NBA Official Injury Report Other tagged players: Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleetJosh Hart (knee) will start Thursday; Lonzo Ball (rest) unlikely to play
Hart has officially been upgraded from questionable and will start in Thursday’s matchup against the Orlando Magic despite dealing with a sore right knee, while Ball will be active but is likely to join Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, and Zion Williamson among the Pelicans’ DNPs for tonight’s contest. This means that Frank Jackson and Nickeil Alexander-Walker will start alongside each other in the backcourt and should receive as many minutes as they can handle with J.J. Redick likely a healthy inactive once again. Additionally, Hart and E’Twaun Moore likely seeing reduced minutes as head coach Alvin Gentry and the New Orleans coaching staff look to evaluate the play of the younger non-rotation players on the roster since the Pelicans were eliminated from playoff contention earlier in the week.
As reported by: Andrew Lopez via Twitter Other tagged players: Lonzo BallEmmanuel Mudiay (knee) out Thursday
Mudiay has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs due to a sore left knee, while Mike Conley and Rudy Gobert were previously ruled out with their respective ailments. In Conley and Mudiay’s absences, Donovan Mitchell will almost certainly slide over to the point guard position, but with the Jazz locked into the sixth-seed in the Western Conference, there’s a legitimate concern about how long head coach Quin Snyder allows his starters and regular rotation players go in tonight’s contest. On top of that, the Jazz has plenty of bodies to absorb the vacated minutes in the backcourt with Miye Oni, Rayjon Tucker, and Justin Wright-Foreman all active this evening.
As reported by: the Utah Jazz via TwitterKristaps Porzingis (heel) officially out Thursday
As expected, Porzingis has been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to a bruised heel, while Seth Curry remains probable with a sore right leg that has forced him to miss three of the previous five games. The last time Porzingis was unavailable for a game in the Orlando bubble, Boban Marjanovic ended up receiving the start at the center position and was stellar for fantasy purposes in 25 minutes of action. However, head coach Rick Carlisle may be the most finicky coaches in the NBA with his starting lineup and rotations, so it’d be far from surprising if someone like Maxi Kleber started at the five instead this afternoon. Still, Marjanovic is always worth a flier in tournament formats if his ownership permits, and today will be no different if he does draw another spot start.
As reported by: Brad Townsend via TwitterChris Chiozza (adductor) and Donta Hall (ankle) listed out Thursday
Chiozza and Hall have had their statuses downgraded on the latest version of the Nets’ injury report and are listed out for Thursday’s matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers due to their respective ailments. When asked about how many minutes his starters could see in the season finale, head coach Jacque Vaughn was rather coy in his response and said that they will be available “at the start of the game”, which may indicate the team’s intent to limit their minutes or pull them from the game early. Since the usual suspects appear to be eliminated from consideration in daily fantasy formats, expect Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Rodions Kurucs, Jeremiah Martin, Dzanan Musa, and Justin Anderson to see the bulk of the playing time this evening.
As reported by: NBA Official Injury Report Other tagged players: Donta HallGeorge Hill (rest) and Ersan Ilyasova (elbow) listed out Thursday
Hill is a late addition to the Bucks’ injury report and has been listed out for Thursday’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies due to rest purposes, while Ilyasova was downgraded from questionable and is also unavailable for today’s contest because of a right elbow strain. The Bucks are also without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is serving a one-game suspension, so there should be plenty of minutes available at the power forward position for Marvin Williams and D.J. Wilson, though it’s highly unlikely head coach Mike Buenholzer allows his starters and regular rotation players to see any more than low-to-mid-20s minutes this afternoon. This makes Wilson, Sterling Brown, Frank Mason, and the other fringe rotation players interesting tournament targets on today’s daily fantasy slates.
As reported by: NBA Official Injury Report Other tagged players: Ersan IlyasovaAnthony Davis (knee) and Kyle Kuzma (rest) out Thursday
Head coach Frank Vogel announced during his pregame Zoom availability that Davis and Kuzma won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings to manage their minor nagging injuries, while Alex Caruso and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope were previously ruled out with their respective ailments as well. Vogel also disclosed that LeBron James and Danny Green would only play the first half of today’s contest, meaning that there are plenty of available minutes for young players like Talen Horton-Tucker, Quinn Cook, and Devontae Cacock this afternoon. In fact, Horton-Tucker will receive the starting nod alongside Green on the wing, and Markieff Morris will draw the start at power forward in place of Davis, though the extent of his playing time still remains unclear.
As reported by: Jason Ross via Twitter Other tagged players: Kyle KuzmaRui Hachimura (quad) scratched Thursday; Johnathan Williams will start
Hachimura was never listed on the Wizards’ injury report and was even initially confirmed in the starting lineup, but he’s officially been ruled out of Thursday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics due to a sore right quad. In his absence, Jonathan Williams will receive the starting nod at power forward, but head coach Scott Brooks is more than capable of rounding out the minutes at the four-spot with other rotational pieces that Williams isn’t necessarily guaranteed a typical starters’ minute workload in this afternoon’s contest. Additionally, with Napier unavailable, it does open up additional ball-handling and playmaking opportunities for the likes of Troy Brown Jr., Jerome Robinson, and Ish Smith, which makes the trio viable options for daily fantasy formats this afternoon.
As reported by: Fred Katz via TwitterKristaps Porzingis (heel) listed doubtful Thursday, Seth Curry (leg) listed probable
Porzingis has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful on the latest Mavericks’ injury report for Thursday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to a bruised heel, while Curry was upgraded from questionable to probable with a sore right leg that has forced him to miss three of the previous five games. The last time Porzingis was unavailable for a game in the Orlando bubble, Boban Marjanovic ended up receiving the start at the center position and was stellar for fantasy purposes in 25 minutes of action. As reported by: NBA Official Injury Report Other tagged players: Seth CurryShabazz Napier (ankle) ruled out Thursday
Napier has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Thursday’s matchup against the Boston Celtics due to a sprained right ankle that’s now forced him to miss three games. Since Napier had been coming off the bench over the last several games, his absence won’t have any impact on the Wizards starting lineup, though head coach Scott Brooks has opted to start Troy Brown Jr. at point guard and Jerome Robinson at the two-guard once again, which keeps Ish Smith on the bench in a reserve role. Napier’s unavailability does open up additional ball handling and playmaking opportunities for the likes of Brown, Robinson, and Smith, which makes the trio viable options for daily fantasy formats this afternoon.
Jerami Grant (knee) will play Wednesday
The Nuggets officially announced that Grant will be available to play in Wednesday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers after missing one game due to a sore knee, while Gary Harris and Will Barton continue to be sidelined by their respective ailments. There haven’t been any reports of a potential minute restriction for Grant, but the number of minutes he and the remaining members of the Nuggets’ primary rotation remain unclear, especially since head coach Michael Malone opted to close Monday’s loss with his second unit, which limited any starter from eclipsing the 27-minute mark in the aforementioned contest.
