Tyus Jones will start in place of Jeff Teague (knee) on Monday
Teague won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to a sore left knee, while Karl-Anthony Towns has been cleared to return from a two-game absence stemming from a concussion. Assuming Towns isn’t subject to a minute restriction, his return to the lineup will send Taj Gibson back to the bench to resume a reserve role following a couple of outstanding fantasy performances relative to his price tag in an average of 28.2 minutes over that span. With Teague unavailable, Tyus Jones will draw the start at point guard since Derrick Rose has logged fewer than 25 minutes in each of the previous four games. However, Rose does own a 33.4% usage rate (+4.7%) and is averaging 1.26 DraftKings and 1.25 FanDuel points per minute with Teague and Robert Covington off the court this season.
As reported by: Kent Youngblood via TwitterMike Conley (knee) available to play Monday; C.J. Miles (hip) ruled out
Conley has officially been upgraded from probable and will be available to play in Monday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers despite dealing with a sore left knee, while Miles has been downgraded from questionable and won’t suit up due to a sore right hip. The Grizzlies have been shorthanded in most games of late, but Miles has still logged at least 23 minutes off the bench in three of the previous five games, so his absence does open up some minutes for the likes of Bruno Caboclo, Tyler Dorsey, and Delon Wright on the wing. Jonas Valanciunas rejoined the team prior to Saturday’s loss, and he was phenomenal from a fantasy perspective in 30 minutes of action in his first start as a member of the Grizzlies, elevating him to an elite option for all formats in a matchup with a Lakers squad that ranks 26th in defensive efficiency versus opposing centers on the year.
As reported by: Grizzlies PR via Twitter Other tagged players: C.J. MilesDarius Miller (ankle) officially out Monday
Miller has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers due to a sprained right ankle that has now forced him to miss three consecutive games. Meanwhile, Anthony Davis and E’Twaun Moore will make their returns from a one-game absence for rest purposes, but head coach Alvin Gentry already confirmed with reporters during his pregame media availability that Davis will be limited to roughly 20 minutes and not play in the fourth quarter of tonight’s contest. Even once Miller is cleared to play, it remains uncertain where he stands in the Pelicans plans for the remainder of the season, as they’ve begun to prioritize developing the younger players in their rotation by giving Kenrich Williams, Frank Jackson, and Cheick Diallo substantial minutes at their respective positions.
As reported by: Pelicans PR via TwitterSterling Brown (wrist) officially out Monday
Brown has officially been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls due to a sore right wrist, while Giannis Antetokounmpo was previously ruled out with a sore right knee. George Hill and Donte DiVincenzo have also already been deemed unavailable, so Milwaukee is on track to be extremely shorthanded in the backcourt this evening. The last time Antetokounmpo was sidelined, Tony Snell drew the start at power forward, but he was most recently limited to just nine minutes off the bench in Saturday’s win with Nikola Mirotic now in the fold in the frontcourt rotation, which will extend head coach Mike Budenholzer the liberty to start Ersan Ilyasova at the four-spot in tonight’s contest. Unsurprisingly, Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton both own at least a +3.2% usage rate and experience a minimum of a +0.20 increase to their per minute fantasy production with Antetokounmpo, Brown, and Hill off the court this season.
As reported by: the Milwaukee Bucks via TwitterJeff Teague (knee) out Monday
Teague has officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Sacramento Kings due to a sore left knee, while Karl-Anthony Towns has been cleared to return from a two-game absence stemming from a concussion. Assuming Towns isn’t subject to a minute restriction, his return to the lineup will send Taj Gibson back to the bench to resume a reserve role following a couple of outstanding fantasy performances relative to his price tag in an average of 28.2 minutes over that span. With Teague unavailable, Derrick Rose will likely enter the starting lineup at point guard in his place, despite logging fewer than 25 minutes in each of the previous four games. However, Rose does own a 33.4% usage rate (+4.7%) and is averaging 1.26 DraftKings and 1.25 FanDuel points per minute with Teague and Robert Covington off the court this season.
As reported by: Dane Moore via TwitterKris Dunn (migraine) and Otto Porter (leg) officially out Monday
Dunn has officially been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a migraine, while Porter has also been ruled out with a strained lower left leg he sustained during Saturday’s win. Shaquille Harrison began the second half of that contest at small forward and recorded 19 minutes in relief, but in the previous instances the Bulls were shorthanded on the wing, Wayne Selden has typically moved into the starting lineup. However, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot will receive the starting nod at small forward despite totaling just 15 minutes in the last two games. As one can imagine, there isn’t a large sample size with Dunn and Porter off the court in Chicago’s current roster makeup, but in that limited time, Selden and Lauri Markkanen both own at least a +2.8% usage rate differential and experience a minimum of a +0.17 increase to their per minute fantasy production.
As reported by: K.C. Johnson via Twitter Other tagged players: Otto Porter Jr.James Harden (neck) will play Monday
Harden has officially been upgraded from probable and will play in Monday’s matchup against the Atlanta Hawks after missing one game due to a strained neck, while Iman Shumpert has been cleared to return from a two-game absence stemming from a sore right knee. There’s been no word of a possible minute restriction for Harden, so he’ll reclaim his spot in the starting lineup, sending Eric Gordon to the bench to assume a reserve role, which means Kenneth Faried will start at power forward once again following a solid fantasy performance in 33 minutes of action in Saturday’s win. With Harden available, Chris Paul and the remaining members of the Rockets rotation will take a significant hit in their projected fantasy value, though they still draw an exploitable matchup with a Hawks squad that ranks first in pace and 28th in defensive efficiency on the season.
As reported by: Craig Ackerman via TwitterGiannis Antetokounmpo (knee) officially out Monday
Antetokounmpo has officially been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Chicago Bulls due to a sore right knee, while Sterling Brown remains listed as doubtful with a sore right wrist. George Hill and Donte DiVincenzo have already been ruled out, so Milwaukee is still on track to be extremely shorthanded in the backcourt this evening. The last time Antetokounmpo was unavailable, Tony Snell drew the start at power forward, but he was most recently limited to just nine minutes off the bench in Saturday’s win with Nikola Mirotic now in the fold in the frontcourt rotation, which will extend head coach Mike Budenholzer the liberty to start Ersan Ilyasova at the four-spot in tonight’s contest. Unsurprisingly, Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton both own at least a +3.2% usage rate and experience a minimum of a +0.20 increase to their per minute fantasy production with Antetokounmpo, Brown, and Hill off the court this season.
As reported by: Matt Velazquez via TwitterDerrick Jones Jr. (illness) and James Johnson (shoulder) out Monday
Jones Jr. and Johnson have officially been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to their respective ailments, and they’ll join Justise Winslow and Rodney McGruder on the Heat’s inactive list this evening, leaving them with just 11 available players. The Heat will clearly be shorthanded heading into tonight’s contest, and Goran Dragic appears to be the likeliest candidate to replace McGruder in the starting lineup, even though he was limited to just 16 minutes in his return from a lengthy injury absence in Saturday’s loss. McGruder had recently rejoined the rotation following the departure of Tyler Johnson to Phoenix via trade, and he had logged a minimum of 20 minutes in four of the previous five games prior to his injury. Dwyane Wade can also be expected to see starter minutes off the bench, and he leads the Heat with a 31.7% usage rate (+3.6%) while averaging 1.08 fantasy points per minute with Winslow, McGruder, and the departed Miami players off the court this season.
As reported by: Anthony Chiang via Twitter Other tagged players: James JohnsonMyles Turner (hip) and Tyreke Evans (ankle) available to play Monday
Turner has officially been upgraded from questionable and will be available to play in Monday’s matchup against the Detroit Pistons after missing two consecutive games due to a bruised left hip, while Evans will play through a sore left ankle for a third straight contest and averaged 16.4 minutes off the bench over that span. There’s been no word of a minute restriction for Turner, so his return will almost certainly send Kyle O’Quinn back to the bench to resume his normal reserve role following a couple of solid fantasy performances in an average of 20.8 minutes in his two spot starts.
As reported by: the Indiana Pacers via Twitter Other tagged players: Tyreke EvansDraymond Green (ankle) and Shaun Livingston (hamstring) available to play Monday
Livingston has officially been upgraded from probable and will be available to play in Monday’s matchup against the Charlotte Hornets despite dealing with a tight left hamstring, while Jordan Bell was previously ruled out because of an illness, though he’s been a DNP-CD in four of the Warriors previous six games. Draymond Green has also been cleared to play through a sprained left ankle that forced him to miss the end of Saturday’s loss, so he’ll presumably be a full-go and draw the start at his customary power forward position this evening. However, Green has taken on even less of a role in the Warriors offense since DeMarcus Cousins made his debut in mid-January, as he’s recorded just a 13.2% usage rate and seen his fantasy production dip to 1.01 DraftKings and 1.05 FanDuel points per minute over this span.
As reported by: Mark Medina via Twitter Other tagged players: Shaun LivingstonJustise Winslow (knee) and Rodney McGruder (knee) out Monday; Derrick Jones Jr. (illness) and James Johnson (shoulder) questionable
Winslow and McGruder have officially been downgraded from doubtful and won’t play in Monday’s matchup against the Phoenix Suns due to their respective ailments, while Johnson has been upgraded to questionable with a sprained left shoulder and Jones Jr. has been downgraded to questionable because of an illness. Regardless of Johnson and Jones’ availability, the Heat will clearly be shorthanded heading into tonight’s contest, and Goran Dragic appears to be the likeliest candidate to replace McGruder in the starting lineup, even though he was limited to just 16 minutes in his return from a lengthy injury absence in Saturday’s loss. McGruder recently rejoined the rotation following the departure of Tyler Johnson to Phoenix via trade, and he had logged a minimum of 20 minutes in four of the previous five games. As reported by: Ira Winderman via Twitter Other tagged players: Rodney McGruder, Derrick Jones Jr., James JohnsonShaun Livingston (hamstring) probable Monday; Jordan Bell (illness) ruled out
Livingston has been added to the Warriors’ injury report and is probable for Monday’s matchup against the Charlotte Hornets due to a tight left hamstring, while Bell has been downgraded from questionable and won’t play in tonight’s contest because of an illness, though he’s been a DNP-CD in four of the previous six games. Draymond Green remains probable with a sprained left ankle that forced him to miss the end of Saturday’s loss, so he’ll presumably be a full-go and draw the start at his customary power forward position this evening. Green has taken on even less of a role in the Warriors offense since DeMarcus Cousins made his debut in mid-January, as he’s recorded just 13.2% usage rate and seen his fantasy production dip to 1.01 DraftKings and 1.05 FanDuel points per minute over this span.
As reported by: Warriors PR via Twitter Other tagged players: Jordan BellDeAndre Bembry (quad) available to play Monday
Bembry has officially been upgraded from probable and will be available to play in Monday’s matchup against the Houston Rockets despite dealing with a left quad contusion, while Taurean Prince is currently away from the team and has already been ruled out for personal reasons. Head coach Lloyd Pierce has already confirmed that Kevin Huerter will make his return from a two-game absence stemming from a sprained left ankle and will replace Prince in the starting lineup at small forward. However, Huerter will be subject to a minute restriction of around 20 minutes in his return and that should enable Bembry to see extended run off the bench as long as he isn’t limited by his aforementioned ailment.
As reported by: Brad Rowland via TwitterLuka Doncic (ankle) and Maxi Kleber (illness) will play Monday
Doncic has officially been upgraded from questionable and will play in Monday’s matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers after missing two consecutive games due to a sore right ankle, while Kleber has been cleared to return from a one-game absence because of an illness. There’s been no report of a potential minute restriction for Doncic, so he’ll presumably reclaim his starting role from Jalen Brunson, who was serviceable from a fantasy perspective in an averaged of 27.7 minutes over the course of two spot starts. Dirk Nowitzki surprisingly drew the start at power forward in place of Kleber in Saturday’s loss, but he’ll presumably head back to the bench to resume his normal reserve role after recording a season-high 25 minutes in his first start of the season.
