Correction - David Lee is PROBABLE for Spurs tonight
An update from yesterday where Lee stated he was likely to play after missing the team’s last game. The team has listed him as probable confirming this status. Pau Gasol and LaMarcus Aldridge will both see a slight decrease in playing time.

Alan Williams expects to play tonight for Phoenix
Williams thought he came down with food poisoning for the game he missed on Tuesday in Miami. He is expected to play tonight though. If for some reason he can’t go look for Alex Len and Marquese Chriss to see additional playing time.

Whiteside went through the team shootaround this morning, albeit most of it was with his non-injured left hand. However, he expects to paly tonight against Toronto and will be a viable but risky DFS option on this small five game slate.We’ll update you with any changes in the big man’s status.

Millsap will miss his fourth consecutive game as Atlanta has ruled him out for Friday’s game. He’s not traveling with the team so it looks like he could miss additional time as well. Ersan Ilyasova is the biggest beneficiary and is a viable DFS option with Millsap out.

Diaw will be inserted into the Jazz starting lineup at power forward for tonight’s game against the New York Knicks, which will send Joe Johnson back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Even with the starting nod, Diaw can easily be ignored in daily fantasy formats this evening. This lineup change was presumably made to better matchup with Kristaps Porzingis on the defensive end, which is honestly laughable. Porzingis would have obviously had a more distinct size advantage over Johnson than Diaw, but he is shaping up to be an interesting tournament option despite the perceived difficult matchup with Utah.

John Henson (left thumb sprain) ruled out tonight
Henson will not play in tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings after previously being listed as questionable on the Bucks’ injury report with a sprained left thumb. Henson’s playing time has consistently ranged anywhere from 10-20 minutes, so his absence will certainly open up some additional playing time for Greg Monroe and may even allow Spencer Hawes to enter the rotation if Bucks head coach Jason Kidd doesn’t want to give Thon Maker extra run as the starting center. The Kings rank pretty highly in DvP against opposing centers (10th) but most of those statistics were accumulated with DeMarcus Cousins manning the paint, and they have certainly been more susceptible defensively with a combination of Kosta Koufos, Willie Cauley-Stein, and Georgios Papagiannis anchoring the defense. For that reason, Monroe becomes an interesting tournament option given his expected uptick in playing time this evening.

Evans and Afflalo will officially be available to play in tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks after both guards were forced to miss two consecutive games due various ailments and reasons. Afflalo will likely reclaim his spot in the starting lineup at small forward from Garrett Temple, which will send Temple back to the bench to resume his reserve role. With Ty Lawson and Kosta Koufos already ruled out for rest, Skal Labissiere will likely draw the start at power forward, which in turn, will slide Willie Cauley-Stein over to the five spot. There isn’t a huge sample size with the aforementioned duo off the court since the trade deadline, essentially when the version of this Sacramento team was established, but Labissiere and Cauley-Stein have really excelled in past instances when Koufos has been held out for rest, making them the primary Kings to target outside of the obvious play of Darren Collison.

Chandler will play in tonight’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers after previously being listed as questionable on the Nuggets’ injury report with a right groin contusion that had forced him to miss four consecutive games. With Danilo Gallinari already ruled out, Chandler’s return to the lineup will send Juancho Hernangomez back to the bench to resume his reserve role, while Mason Plumlee will remain as the starting power forward for at least the time being. There’s been no reported minute restriction for Chandler, so it’s safe to assume he will be a full-go in his return and will be relied upon to matchup with LeBron James on the defensive end of the floor. Chandler is extremely intriguing tournament play after carrying an injury designation throughout the day and has flashed tournament-winning upside several times before with Gallinari sidelined.

Additionally, Kyle Korver will be available to play off the bench after his playing status was previously uncertain due to a sore left foot. Korver will presumably absorb the backup shooting guard minutes behind Smith, which will leave Shumpert battling for backup small forward minutes with Richard Jefferson. Clearly, none of the Cavaliers reserves are viable daily fantasy options, but Smith is certainly worth a look in tournaments at a shallow shooting guard position.

As previously speculated following Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy’s comments, Smith will officially be inserted into the starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls, which will send Reggie Jackson back to the bench to assume a reserve role. This lineup change was seemingly a long time coming, as Jackson would sporadically be benched in favor of Smith at critical points in games where he may not have been playing all that well. Smith was already an intriguing tournament option prior to this news coming off an impressive performance in Tuesday’s contest, but now becomes an elite option for his price tag assuming he manages to see anywhere close to starter minutes in an exploitable individual matchup with the Bulls’ backcourt defense.

Okafor will play in tonight’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after previously being listed as questionable on the Sixers’ injury report with a sore right knee that had forced him to miss Philadelphia’s prior game. There has yet to be any official word on whether he or Richaun Holmes will start at center, but based on his recent play, Holmes is the best bet to remain in the starting lineup. There’s also a non-zero chance that Okafor will have his minutes limited in this contest and for the foreseeable future, as the Sixers will want to make sure he remains healthy down the stretch. Holmes had essentially surpassed Okafor in the rotation even before his injury absence, and if not for his inflated price tag across the industry, he would be firmly in play for all formats.

Keith Langlois, the Pistons beat writer mentioned that there might be some lineup changes coming for Detroit. Stan Van Gundy did not confirm there were no lineup changes, meaning we should be prepared for something. Reggie Jackson and Ish Smith switching spots seem the most logical after Van Gundy said Tobias Harris would stick in the starting lineup for the remainder of the season. We’ll send out another update as soon we get something official from the team.

Cristiano Felicio (back) ruled out for tonight; Joffrey Lauvergne to start at center for the Bulls
Felicio will not play in tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as questionable on the Bulls’ injury report with a lower back contusion he sustained late in Tuesday’s loss to the Toronto Raptors. With Robin Lopez serving his one-game suspension stemming from last night’s brawl, Joffrey Lauvergne will receive the starting nod at center in his place. Chicago’s lack of depth in the frontcourt will force Bobby Portis to absorb most of the backup center minutes, while Paul Zipser may even see some limited time at the four. Lauvergne will likely become a chalky option at center for the stone minimum across the industry, but his minutes could be far from secure if the Bulls decide to go small to try and force Drummond off the court. However, if the salary savings of Lauvergne enables you to make a significant upgrade at another position, he could be worth the added risk should he squeeze out value in 20 minutes or so of playing time.
