Chandler will not play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers after previously being listed as questionable with a right groin contusion, while Jameer Nelson will be available to play after also being listed as questionable with a strained right hip flexor. Additionally, Darrell Arthur has been ruled out for rest and Kenneth Faried remains sidelined with lower back pain. With all of the aforementioned power forwards unable to suit up, Juancho Hernangomez will almost assuredly draw the start at power forward. Hernangomez has flashed immense upside when given opportunities to start in the past, so he now become one of, if not, the top value option on the late slate. Nikola Jokic was already shaping up to a fantastic option on Monday’s slate, but with Chandler, Arthur, and Faried unavailable, he becomes a lock and load option in a matchup with a Lakers squad that ranks 29th in DvP against opposing centers.

Boris Diaw will start ahead of Joe Johnson tonight
Diaw will be inserted into the Jazz’s starting lineup at power forward for tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers, which sends Joe Johnson back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Diaw is priced at the minimum salary across the industry but still isn’t a particularly viable daily fantasy option, as he is highly unlikely to see more than 20 minutes of playing time in tonight’s contest. Utah is still without Derrick Favors due to a knee injury, which is typically good news for Rudy Gobert’s projected fantasy value, as his expected rebounding opportunities significantly increase. However, in the Jazz’s two prior meetings with the Clippers this season, Gobert has failed to exceed salary-based expectations on both occasions. The Clippers are a neutral matchup for centers, as they rank 13th in DvP, meaning Gobert can certainly still be fired up in tournaments despite his two prior underwhelming performances against the Clippers.

His return to the starting lineup will send Jeff Withey back to the bench to resume his reserve role. DeMarre Carroll has been ruled out of tonight’s contest due to an ankle injury. He’s already missed two of his last three games due to the injury and Norman Powell started on Saturday in his place. P.J. Tucker started for Carroll last week and the team has yet to announce the player that will replace Carroll in the lineup. Both Tucker and Powell were unable to make a significant fantasy impact with Carroll out. Tucker is a defensive minded player and lacks offensive upside while Powell is a scoring dependent guard that rarely sees a heavy usage rate. Powell is also slightly more expensive than Tucker but both players are relatively cheap. With the Raptors owning one of the lower implied team totals, it’ll be tough to trust anyone outside of DeMar DeRozan.

Chandler Parsons (knee) ruled out for tonight; Vince Carter replaces him in the starting lineup
Parsons will not play in tonight’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks due to a sore knee. The Grizzlies to be intent on resting Parsons anytime his knee soreness flares up, so expect this to be a normal practice for them going forward. As for tonight, Vince Carter will draw the start at small forward in his place, while Tony Allen will reclaim his starting shooting guard spot from James Ennis, sending him back to the bench to resume his reserve role. Carter now joins the plethora of value options available on Monday’s slate but is probably better reserved as a tournament option given his low minute floor. Marc Gasol is fairly priced across the industry and draws one of the better individual matchups among the Grizzlies starters, as the Bucks rank 18th in DvP against opposing centers. Gasol should be able to easily handle Thon Maker and whoever else Milwaukee decides to throw out there, making him an elite option at center this evening.

Leonard has officially passed the League’s concussion protocol and will play in tonight’s game against the Atlanta Hawks. His return to the lineup will send Kyle Anderson back to the bench to resume his normal reserve role. With Tony Parker and LaMarcus Aldridge still sidelined with their respective ailments, Patty Mills and David Lee will remain in the starting lineup for tonight’s contest. Kawhi should be a full-go in tonight’s tilt with Atlanta coming back from a concussion, which makes him a lock and load option in all formats with Parker, Aldridge, and Dejounte Murray all unavailable, as he owns a positive 5.1% usage rate differential (38.6%) while averaging an absurd 61 fantasy points per 36 minutes with the aforementioned trio off the court this season.

Rondo will be reinserted into the Bulls starting lineup at point guard for tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, which will send Jerian Grant back to the bench to resume a reserve role. The Bulls point guard carousel just continues to go round and round, as now Rondo will get another shot at seizing the starting point guard reigns. The minutes for Rondo and the other Bulls guards have been all over the map in recent games, but it looks as if he and Cameron Payne will be handling a large majority of the minute load at point guard going forward. However, just because Rondo received the starting nod in tonight’s contest does not mean that he will be automatically locked into 30-plus minutes, which lowers his already low floor, making him a better option in tournaments than in cash games.

Kaminsky will be available to play off the bench in tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls after previously being listed as questionable on the Hornets’ injury report with a sprained left shoulder that had forced him to miss five consecutive games. Even with Kaminsky available, Cody Zeller is expected to remain the starting center alongside Marvin Williams at the power forward spot. However, the return of Kaminsky still is a significant hit to the projected fantasy value of Williams, as he had seen his minute floor raised substantially with how shorthanded Charlotte had been in the frontcourt without Frank the Tank. Additionally, Hornets head coach Steve Clifford stated that Treveon Graham will some playing time in tonight’s contest with Nicolas Batum sidelined due to a migraine. Graham still isn’t a viable daily fantasy option, as he will be firmly behind Jeremy Lamb and Marco Belinelli for minutes on the wing.

Batum will not play in tonight’s game against the Chicago Bulls after previously being downgraded to questionable on the Hornets’ injury report with a migraine that forced him to miss Monday’s shootaround. Jeremy Lamb will draw the start at the shooting guard spot in his absence. Lamb is priced fairly across the industry and is worth consideration in all formats, as he shown the ability to greatly exceed salary-based expectations when given the chance to start in Batum’s absence this season. Unfortunately, no one player sees a significant usage bump with Batum off the court, but Lamb and Kemba Walker still make for elite options in what should be an exploitable matchup with the Bull backcourt defense.

Dante Cunningham has been listed as questionable for tomorrow’s game against the Blazers. DeMarcus Cousins was left on the bench for most of the 4th quarter and overtime of Saturday’s game, allowing Cunningham to play 34 minutes for the first time since Cousins came to the team. if Cunningham is ruled out, it does not change the rotation too much because Cousins should be a large part of the game plan against a team that struggles inside. Jordan Crawford has also been playing well and is the cheap option available in New Orleans. Omer Asik remains out due to an illness.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have officially waived Andrew Bogut to make room for Larry Sanders. The first opportunity for Sanders to play will be tomorrow against the Pistons. Look for another update from the team after shootaround on Tuesday.

Malcolm Brogdon and Mirza Teletovic both available to play for Milwaukee tonight; Matthew Dellavedova will still start
Brogdon and Teletovic have both sat out the last few games for Milwaukee but it looks like Brogdon will be eased back in slowly as Matthew Dellavedova will get the start. That news makes both risky DFS plays tonight especially facing the Memphis Grizzlies on the road in a game that has a total barely over 200.

Turner jammed his finger on Sunday and had a wrap on his hand today during practice but he is expected to play tomorrow for the Pacers. He’s coming off a solid game after struggling of late so it’ll be interesting to see the impact the finger injury has on his game tomorrow.

Gobert missed the teams last game and was expected to have a MRI over the weekend but the results from that have not come back. However, Gobert stated this weekend that he was expecting to play and is listed as questionable. The team will make another evaluation later tonight and we’ll update you once we have a final determination on his playing status. Jeff Withey would likely get the start at center if Gobert can not suit up. He’s not a viable DFS option, even at minimum price and as a starter.
