Updating our previous report – the Mavericks big man will not play today despite making significant process towards a return. Salah Mejri should get another start but is not a viable DFS option.

Frank Kaminsky goes through shootaround for Hornets; good chance he plays tonight
Kaminsky hasn’t played since March 2nd but the team is optimistic he will play tonight after going through the team shootaround. He was previously listed as questionable and we should know more later today. We’ll update his official status as soon as that information becomes available. Cody Zeller’s value takes a hit with the return of Frank the Tank.

The Hornets forward is battling a migraine and is considered by the team to be questionable for their game tonight against the Bulls. He’s considered a game-time decision – fortunately this is the first game to tip off so we should have news before lock. We’ll update you as soon as we learn more. Jeremy Lamb and Marco Bellinelli would be the biggest beneficiaries if Batum sits with Lamb becoming a top option on the slate at his price point.

Noel has missed the teams last two games and is considered questionable for the Mavericks’ game tonight. He made good progress over the weekend and appears to be trending in the right direction. We’ll update you after the morning shootaround when more news is available.

The talented, but oft-maligned, big man has signed to a deal with Cleveland and will give them some versatility in the frontcourt. It’s unclear what kind of game shape Sanders is in or what his role will be in the Cavaliers rotation but it’s a situation worth monitoring as he has the capability of putting up big numbers if given significant playing time.

Nwaba, and not Tyler Ennis, will join Ivica Zubac in the Lakers starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, which sends Tarik Black and Nick Young to the bench to assume resume roles. Lakers head coach Luke Walton has been stating that he wants to try and start getting the younger Lakers players more experience, and it appears that he’s conveniently decided to wait until a matchup with a fellow tanking Sixers squad. The fact that this game could have serious implications on whether the Lakers are able to keep their Top-3 protected pick in this year’s draft or lose it to Philadelphia probably made this decision easier. But anyway, Zubac stands out as an elite option should he see 25 minutes of playing time or more in a juicy individual matchup with Jahlil Okafor “defense”. On the other hand, Nwaba could be worth a dart throw in tournaments on the late slate, but he doesn’t possess enough of a track record with the Lakers, or any team for that matter, to be confidently recommended.

Chandler is not currently with the team due to personal reasons and will not play in tonight’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers. However, to be frank, he was not going to see any time on the court in this contest anyway, as he has been a DNP-CD in every game since the All-Star break. The Suns are rolling with their microscopically small starting lineup for the second consecutive night with Alex Len ruled out, meaning Derrick Jones Jr. will start at small forward once again, sliding T.J. Warren down to power forward and Marquese Chriss over to center. With that said, Alan Williams still remains the primary big man to target on Phoenix, especially with the threat of Chandler stealing minutes eliminated, as he has consistently put up fantastic production on a point per minute basis even with Len available and should still see extended run despite coming off the bench.

Covington will not play in tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a sore right knee despite never appearing on the Sixers’ injury report at any point throughout the day. Gerald Henderson will be available to play after resting his sore hip in Saturday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. Henderson will be reinserted into the starting lineup in place of Covington, which allows Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot to slide over to small forward and remain in the starting lineup for at least one more game. Unfortunately, Henderson and Luwawu-Cabarrot aren’t particularly interesting daily fantasy options, even in a plus matchup with a putrid Lakers defensive unit. It would be better to focus exposure on the remaining Philadelphia starters and Justin Anderson off the bench if looking for a contrarian tournament target.

If Chandler is unable to suit up, Juancho Hernangomez would likely draw the start in his place, while Jamal Murray would be expected to be inserted into the starting lineup at point guard should Nelson be ruled out. Nikola Jokic is already shaping up to a fantastic option on Monday’s slate, but if Chandler and Nelson are unavailable, he would become a lock and load option in a matchup with a Lakers squad that ranks 29th in DvP against opposing centers.

Dragic will not play in tonight’s game against the Indiana Pacers after previously being expected to play through a right orbital contusion he sustained in Friday’s contest. Dragic’s eye is reportedly swollen shut, so clearly, his condition deteriorated quickly following Saturday’s positive reports. Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra failed to confirm his replacement in the starting lineup, but Josh Richardson is fully expected to receive the starting nod at point guard. With Dragic off the court this season, both Richardson and Dion Waiters own usage rate differentials of +2.0% or higher. In addition, the Pacers have struggled at times to defend both guard positions so Richardson and Waiters will be intriguing options on Sunday’s main slate in exploitable individual matchups.
As reported by: Ira Winderman Brook Lopez (right ankle sprain) will play tonight
Lopez will play in tonight’s game against the New York Knicks after previously being listed as probable on the Nets’ injury report with a sprained right ankle that forced him to miss Friday’s loss to the Dallas Mavericks. In his absence, Quincy Acy drew the start and center but will be sent back to the bench to resume his reserve role with Lopez expected to reclaim his normal starting spot at the five. The Knicks rank 24th in DvP against opposing centers, so assuming Lopez is a full go, he could be an intriguing tournament option (especially as part of a game stack), as he would likely be one of the primary reasons Brooklyn is able to keep this game competitive considering the Knicks aren’t exactly world beaters themselves either.
