It’s a scheduled off day for the aging veteran – he should be back for the team’s next game. James Ennis and Tony Allen will get a few extra minutes with Carter our but not enough to bump their value considerably.

Aaron Gordon questionable for Magic on Thursday
Gordon left last night’s game in the first half and had a walking boot on after the game. He’s likely going to miss the next game for Orlando on Thursaday and possibly more depending on how his recovery goes. Jeff Green will likely get the start in his place and will become a valuable DFS asset if that is the case.

Young will miss another game tonight for Indiana as he deals with a sprained wrist. Lavoy Allen will likely get the start and is in play as a GPP value option. He put up a double-double in his last start on Saturday.

He left the teams last game in a walking boot and was unable to take part in the team shootaround this morning. He’s listed as doubtful and appears unlikely to play tonight. Wayne Ellington is the likely starter if this is the case and he’ll be an excellent value option on this twelve game slate. Tyler Johnson should also receive additional playing time and is also a viable DFS target.

Gallinari was expected to sit out tonight’s contest for the Nuggets and Mudiay will join him. It’s Mudiay’s second straight game on the sidelines and he’s missed seven of his last ten. Jameer Nelson and Jamal Murray will continue to benefit from Mudiay’s absence. In the meantime, Kenneth Faried will return after a one game absence.

Embiid will continue to sit out as he’s been ruled out for the 76ers next two games, tonight and tomorrow in Orlando. Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel will continue to split time at the five for Philadelphia – Embiid being out makes LaMarcus Aldridge an appealing option as the 76ers struggle against opposing big men without him in the lineup. Richaun Holmes was also listed as questionable and will be a game time decision.

This will be Sefolosha’s sixth straight game on the sidelines as he continues to deal with a groin injury. Tim Hardaway Jr. will likely get the start but his price has risen to the point where he’s a risky DFS option. That said they are facing the Nuggets who are one of the worst teams in the league defensively (28th in fantasy points allowed per game) so he’s worthy of GPP consideration.

Leonard has missed the last two games with a quad contusion but appears on track to play tonight against the 76ers. He’s in play against a Philadelphia team that is bottom 10 in the league in fantasy points allowed per game.

Shumpert has a severe ankle sprain and will miss the Cavaliers game today and tomorrow. Reports are he should be able to return soon however. DeAndre Liggins will likely start in his place and both him and Kyle Korver should see additional minutes. Neither are particularly attractive DFS options though as long as the Big 3 are playing.

Lillard will play and start in tonight’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after previously being listed as probable on the Trail Blazers’ injury report with a sprained right ankle he sustained in Sunday’s loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Lillard is not expected to be limited and will play his normal allotment of minutes barring a setback. Lillard has struggled of late, but Tuesday’s individual matchup is better than the Mavericks’ DvP against opposing point guards would indicate, as Yogi Ferrell and Seth Curry own a -2.19 and -1.67 DRPM respectively.

Deron Williams (left toe sprain) officially ruled out; Dirk Nowitzki expected to play tonight
Deron Williams will once again be out of the lineup for the Mavericks. Yogi Ferrell will once again start and should be considered a fine cash game option. His salary has spiked to the point where his upside is in question but the minutes are secure over 30 again. Dirk Nowitzki will play on the second night of a back-to-back and does not have any minutes restrictions. Nowitzki is a fine tournament option that should be able to punish the Blazers who rank 25th in defensive efficiency.

Spencer Dinwiddie starting for the Nets; Isaiah Whitehead playing off the bench
Dinwiddie will be inserted into the Nets starting lineup for tonight’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, sending Isaiah Whitehead back to the bench to resume his backup point guard role with the second unit. Dinwiddie had been seeing more minutes than Whitehead over the last two games but still didn’t eclipse the 27-minute mark in those contests. Dinwiddie is certainly a fine option in tournaments but his floor and ceiling are lowered significantly by the Nets’ propensity to run out deep rotations at every position. With that said, if Dinwiddie allows you to significantly upgrade another position, he could become a viable option despite possessing a lower ceiling than most.

Cody Zeller will miss his seventh straight game due to a quad contusion and Frank Kaminsky will start in his place. Kaminsky started against the Jazz and played 31 minutes. Considering it was a difficult matchup it was still promising to see him exceed salary-based expectations. Kaminsky will get much easier matchup tonight against the Nets and should be considered an elite punt option at the position. Kaminsky recently scored over 40 FPs against the Warriors so there is tangible potential upside here. Considering that Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert were traded last week if Kaminsky can stay out of foul trouble, he should be able to greatly exceed value. Miles Plumlee also saw 17 minutes against the Jazz but is only viable on DraftKing since his salary is at $3k. Plumlee is at $4.2k on FanDuel and carries more risk than reward. Marvin Williams has also seen a spike in minutes (30+ in 5 straight) with Zeller going down and is only $100 more than Kaminsky on FanDuel.

Zeller remains questionable and will likely be a game-time decision for tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets after being forced to miss six consecutive games with a quad contusion. If Zeller is unable to give it a go, Frank Kaminsky will draw the start at center once again. Kaminsky has been relatively inconsistent in Zeller’s absence, but Charlotte’s frontcourt recently got a whole lot less crowded when Spencer Hawes and Roy Hibbert were shipped off to Milwaukee and tonight’s matchup with Brooklyn is stellar. This makes Kaminsky a fine option in all formats, along with Marvin Williams, on a 3-game slate should Zeller be ruled out.

Mahinmi could return to the Wizards’ rotation for tomorrow’s game against the Brooklyn Nets but is only expected to see a few minutes of action in what would be his first game since November 26th if he is able to suit up. This would also just be Mahinmi’s second game all season and should be expected to compete for backup center minutes with Jason Smith behind Marcin Gortat once he is fully back up to speed. For now, his presence in the rotation will do little to affect Gortat or any other members of the Wizards frontcourt.
