Andrew Bogut (hamstring) ruled out for tonight's game vs Cleveland
Andrew Bogut has been ruled out of tonight’s contest after he re-aggravated his hamstring last night. Bogut was not a strong DFS option and this could lead to Dirk Nowitzki playing 30 minutes. Dwight Powell and Salah Mejri will be used in place of Bogut but both players are not high-upside option against the Cavs.

Aaron Gordon (ankle) available and expected to play tonight; Evan Fournier (heel) will play off the bench
Gordon and Fournier will play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves after previously being listed as questionable on the Magic’s injury report with their respective ailments. Fournier will come off the bench in his return but reportedly won’t be limited by a minute restriction. C.J. Watson will likely remain in the starting lineup at shooting guard, but he will obviously see his minutes drastically reduced with Fournier competing for minutes down the stretch. Both Fournier and Gordon are viable options in tournaments, but carry too much risk and volatility to be considered in cash games.

Hollis-Jefferson will play in tonight’s game against the Miami Heat after previously being listed as questionable on the Nets’ injury report with a sore right ankle. With Hollis-Jefferson officially available to play off the bench, Caris Levert is unlikely to see anywhere near the season-high 27 minutes he saw in Brooklyn’s previous game. Additionally, Joe Harris has already been ruled out for the sixth consecutive game due to a sprained left ankle. Randy Foye will continue to start at shooting guard in Harris’ absence, with Sean Kilpatrick coming off the bench. Kilpatrick could make for an intriguing tournament option at shooting guard for what is an affordable price tag across the industry, though he still continues to compete for minutes with the aforementioned LeVert, Foye, and Bojan Bogdanovic, limiting his ceiling in some regards.

Horford will play in tonight’s game against the Detroit Pistons after previously being listed as questionable on the Celtics’ injury report with a groin injury that had forced him to miss two consecutive games. Jonas Jerebko will remain in the starting lineup at power forward, sending Amir Johnson to the bench to assume a reserve role. With Avery Bradley still sidelined, Jaylen Brown will continue to start at shooting guard and should see a sizeable minute load for his price tag across the industry. Horford and Jae Crowder will also pick up some extra usage with the first unit, making the former an intriguing tournament option considering he had carried a questionable designation for the majority of the day.

Johnson remains questionable for tonight’s game against the Brooklyn Nets with a strained left shoulder that has forced him to miss five consecutive games. However, according to Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra, he will warm up with the intention to play this evening. Goran Dragic and Dion Waiters will see a slight knock to their projected fantasy value with Johnson competing for minutes at both guard positions. Both Dragic and Waiters are still fine options but are no longer the stone-cold locks they were earlier in the day. Additionally, Wayne Ellington should be removed from consideration entirely, as he had taken over Johnson’s combo guard role off the bench and will see substantially less than 33 minutes per contest he averaged in the past five games Johnson had been sidelined.

Gordon is questionable to play in tonight’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a sore right ankle. If Gordon is unable to suit up, Jeff Green would likely be inserted into the starting lineup at small forward in his place. Despite Green’s volatility in daily fantasy, he would be an interesting value option in tournaments should Gordon and Evan Fournier be ruled out, as he owns a positive 4.3% usage rate differential (25.0%) with the aforementioned duo and Jodie Meeks off the court this season.

Ilyasova will play in tonight’s game against the Sacramento Kings after previously being listed as probable on the Sixers’ injury report with a right shoulder contusion he sustained in Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bulls. With Joel Embiid already ruled out, Jahlil Okafor for draw the start alongside Ilyasova and most likely split minutes with Nerlens Noel virtually down the middle at the center position. Ilyasova is a fine option in all formats if playing the All Day slate.

Lamb has officially been listed as probable for tomorrow’s game against Portland Trai Blazers due to metatarsal inflammation that has forced him to miss nine consecutive games. Lamb is expected to be active and play off the bench Tuesday, but he was also active in Friday’s contest and didn’t see the court. If for some reason Lamb is unable to suit up, Marco Belinelli and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist would continue to be the primary beneficiaries in Lamb’s absence.

Zeller has officially been listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers with a quad contusion that has forced him to miss three consecutive games. Roy Hibbert will likely draw the start at center in his place once again but is not a viable daily fantasy option. Should Zeller be unable to suit up, Spencer Hawes and Frank Kaminsky would be the only true big men available for Charlotte behind Hibbert and both would be viable tournament punts in an exploitable matchup with the Trail Blazers’ frontcourt defense.

Jahlil Okafor will be starting in place of Nerlens Noel tonight. According to CourtIQ, Jahlil Okafor only sees a 1.2% usage rate increase with Embiid and Bayless of the court this season. While it is not a substantial increase, Okafor (25%) is less than one percent behind Ersan Ilyasova (25.7%) for the team lead in usage. Ersan is dealing with a sore shoulder but is expected to play tonight. Robert Covington is coming off one of his best fantasy performances of the night in his hometown last night and will also be a strong play tonight with Embiid ruled out.

Ed Davis will miss his 6th game due to a sprained wrist and no timetable has been given for his return. Noah Vonleh started the game but only played 17 minutes against the Warriors. Meyers Leonard also played 6 minutes but he was not a DFS factor and has not been for some time now. The Blazers decided to go small against the Warriors by playing Aminu at the 4 and the absence of Davis seems to be locking in Mason Plumlee for 30 minutes. Plumlee is still pretty cheap on DK but has seen his salary spike on FD. Plumlee will be a strong option against the Hornets on Tuesday with his minutes seemingly secure.

Joel Embiid will miss another game due to a knee contusion and will not be traveling with the team to their games in Dallas and San Antonio. Even though he is currently being listed as doubtful don’t expect him to play considering he is not traveling. His status for future games will be determined at a later time. Jahlil Okafor will get the start tonight in place of Embiid and Nerlens Noel will play off the bench. The minutes distribution has not been announced by the team but since Okafor did not play last night, we’d expect him to see more minutes than Noel who is playing on the second night of a back-to-back.

Simmons has been unable to play over the last week due to a sprained right wrist but has been upgraded to questionable for Tuesday’s game. Simmons’ minutes are inconsistent off the San Antonio bench and he would need multiple players in front of him to be rested to carve out a significant role. Look for another update from the Spurs after shootaround tomorrow.

Russell has not played since getting injured in the first minute of a game against the Pacers 10 days ago. He was able to practice without any limitations today but still remains questionable for tomorrow. He’ll go through shootaround and then his status will likely be upgraded. Expect Jose Calderon to go back to the bench and is not a viable DFS option. Julius Randle did not practice since he has contracted pneumonia. Tarik Black started in place of Randle against the Jazz but the star of the show was rookie Ivica Zubac. Zubac will be a strong DFS option against the Nuggets, who are missing Nikola Jokic in the middle.

Both players were expected to be out for tomorrow’s game against Los Angeles but Mudiay had a great rehab session and has been upgraded to questionable. While it’s still unlikely that he plays it’s a situation to keep an eye on heading into their game tomorrow and his return would be a big downgrade to the value of Jameer Nelson who has thrived in his absence. We’ll update you on Tuesday when more news comes in on the Nuggets point guard.
